“Had a hectic day having to race pick up the kids, get home and realized that it was late and we wouldn’t have food done in time to feed the toddlers so we went to culvers and ordered take out. Attached is our receipt, the bacon burger had no bacon on it the deluxe had only 1 patty on it (forgot to take a picture. We didn’t want to drive back because we were hungry. We go to this Culvers a lot because we live basically across the street. Usually your attention to detail is amazing but today… t failed :( You didn’t lose a customer… just wanted to give this feedback to remind staff to pay attention to details.“

“Wonderful evening sitting in the bar area after wandering around town. Great wine suggestions and some amazing food - started with the dill/parmesan dip which was very good. For entrees the flat iron steak over a red pepper potato mash was incredible and the kind of dish that you come back for again and again. Service as always was incredibly friendly.“

“We had four adults and two children in our group. Both kids have food allergies, but one of them has complicated allergies. No eggs, dairy, nuts, pork, turkey etc etc. Our waitresses name was Kristina and she was unbelievable. She kept going back to the kitchen to question the chef about food ingredients and preparation without making it seem like an inconvenience. Her overall attentiveness to customer service was impressive. We did have a little hiccup in preparation of one of the orders but it was remedied quickly and satisfactorily. The food was delicious and well worth the price. Nicely varied menu selection. This was our first visit but won't be our last. Only downfall was knowing the place was located there without being told. We drive by a couple of times a week and never even knew it was there! Glad we do know now!! The Amber Breaded Cod and Seafood Platter were both spectacular along with all the other food we ordered.Kid-friendliness: We felt it was definitely kid friendly. We took a 7 and 12 year old with us!“

“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! The dry rubs and wet sauces are all specially prepared and are very good!The rest of the menu, along with the weekly specials, are all great value and prepared with fresh ingredients and care by the Garden Inn chefs, Tammy and Will.Service at the bar is great. “My wife and I recently visited Oconomowoc, we found Maxim's restaurant which was the old train depot for the town, the service, and food was delicious and presented well, lots of healthy choices, Maxim's is our official daily eaterie!!! Prices were very fair!!“

“This is a nice local bar in Pewaukee. ***In all fairness, my food rating is based on a frozen pizza cooked after the grill was closed. It was available and ok. If it were about ten pm and I wanted a bar pizza, I would order this again.That being said, the server was attentive and very nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary hot. It was reasonably priced and came with a nice amount of fixings. I also received a decent amount for a beer chaser.I was meeting a friend briefly as she drove through town, so we didn't explore the many things available at the bar.They had pool tables and other machines there. ( I wasn't looking too closely, I'm sorry.)I will probably plan another late meeting with my friend as she finishes her classes at WCTC.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have a wheelchair ramp. “This was the new restaurant of the week and a long time bookmark so I stopped over for lunch. I couldn't find it the first time because the spot was a three flag flying American Legion post so I used google maps to take me there and I ended up at the same intersection so I parked and I looked around and, dang it's in the A /L post right on the sign in front. The place is in the basement and it's classic WI dive bar at its finest with a small bar and some hi tables. It's bar service I was told so I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary spicy and the cheesesteak sandwich with upgraded onion rings for $2 extra. The Bloody Mary was super average with absolutely no depth of flavor at all that was garnished with a couple good firm olives, 2 meat slices and a cheddar cheese cube which was decent. The cheesesteak looked pretty good and smelled amazing with lettuce, tomato and mayo which is not the norm from most places and it was fu#king delicious that way, if I can remember I'm going to ask for future cheesesteaks from other place to add lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. The grilled peppers and onions with the thin sliced beef topped with melted cheese on the fresh hoagie bun was perfect for my cheesesteak craving. On the other hand the up charge onion rings were beer battered and thin, very average bar food and I thought that the seasoned potatoes/frys that came with the sandwich would have been a better option for this sandwich. Overall I had a good lunch at a reasonable price with a cocktail/chaser sandwich and side for $20.95 that completely satisfied me, the 1st timer on my receipt was noted for the kitchen ? like what is that and don't F this order up ? I don't know.“

“First time trying the fish fry and we were very surprised. It's iconic vintage atmosphere all the way, like stepping into the 1960's. All the regulars, everyone says hi, it's charming. We got the two piece and three piece fried cod, carried it out, $30. The servings were large, perfectly cooked with a very light, flaky, crispy coating, with fries, rye bread, creamy coleslaw, and tartar sauce. Will definitely go again.We try to stop and support as many American Legions as we can as we travel. We're members of American Legion Paradise Post 79, New Port Richey, FL.“

“Its so refreshing to go to a restaurant where you are not getting ripped off by high wine by the glass prices! You see so many places now that are charging over $10 a glass for wine. 5 O'clock Club offers nice wine at $7-$8 a glass. I drink at least 3 glasses at dinner and can't afford these places that charge $10-$11 a glass. 5 O'clock Club clearly is our top 3 best fish fries in Wisconsin. We don't like the thick beer batter fish fries. Their crusty,thin, tasty batter is the best. It comes out very hot! French fries are like Culvers, but much more flavor! Cole Slaw is always fresh and one of the tastiest. Sure, you have to wait on Friday night, just like 95% of all the other restaurants in Wisconsin on Friday night, but its worth the wait. We always have great service too. Most of the servers there on Friday night have been there for years. Keep up the good work there and thanks!“

“Gem in Lake Country. This is a review of the casual menu. Tuesday-Thursday they have a Happy Hour special from 4:30-6:00, half off all drinks, including the big steins of beer. Live music in the lounge Dec-Mar and then the patio starting in May. We enjoyed a very tasty and juicy orange roughy sandwich and a chicken pesto wrap. Both were delicious and more than we could eat.“

“We had fun stopping in for a fish fry. The vibe is excellent (though busy on a Friday! not surprisingly), and the staff are all very friendly. The fish fry was small in portion, but yummy. And the floors are sticky, but in the friendly, and not dirty, neighborhood bar way. “The food was excellent as always. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is it is somewhat pricey. My wife and I had dinner, one drink each before dinner and dessert. Price including tip was $130. When Sobies first opened it was a mid-price restaurant. It migrated to premium price unless you like french fries with gravy on them. It still is the best restaurant in Oconomowoc.“

“My husband and I had dinner at Twisted Fire, Oconomowoc, WI on Thursday, June 17, 2022. It was fabulous! I ordered Truffle Fries, Chorizo Stuffed Dates wrapped in bacon & pipperada sauce = sooo delish! I have to go back and order these again! Out of this world amazing! I also ordered the Tuna Special which was grilled to perfection and came with baked small potatoes and baby broccoli tips all prepared just right. My Husband ordered the Italian Pizza with Breadsticks. He also raved about his choices. We want to give a shout out to our server Colton who was knowledgeable, and so fun! The whole night was worth every pretty penny spent there. We can’t wait to go back! This was my second time there and both times they didn’t disappoint. Kudos to you Twisted Fire for beautiful atmosphere and a ton of Gluten Free choices. The whole experience is worth going back again!“

It is not a super club. It's a bar with fantastic super club food and delicious Old Fashions made from a secret recipe. Comfortable atmosphere. Very reasonably priced.“
