Ice Cream Shops near Watertown

“I am originally from Michigan and just started a job in the area in march. I am still finding all the local gems in the Watertown/Johnson Creek/Oconomowoc area. Well this one is a must return.

Excellent food. Old style diner/ice cream parlor vibe.

The cup of chili was good. It had the right amount of beans and meat. Good flavor.

Double Mushroom and Swiss was juicy and fresh. It was cooked right and with care.

The crinkle cut fries were the standard expectations of fries…hot and crispy.

The ice cream was of top quality. It is made on site and hit the spot.

I most definitely recommend this place and will return again.“

“I may have reviewed this location in the past with not the best rating but I just want to commend them for their efforts in improvement. Since the remodel, I have had nothing but positive experiences. My orders are always correct. Food is and tasty and fresh and the employees are friendly and give great service. “Today was the worst visit to this specific location. The hamburger was supposed to have ketchup, fried onions and pickles. The ketchup was light, two pickles and ONE sliver of RAW onion not quite one inch long. The strawberry malt was strawberry milk. I was the sixth "parked" vehicle to wait for my food. I'm guessing the malt was made and left on a counter for the food order to be prepared. As a suggestion, if you make the malts/shakes ahead of time, store them in a freezer until the food is ready. Other custard/burger restaurants do this. It's very disappointing to pay over $20 for a meal to have almost half of it wrong and/or melted. To end on a positive note, the gentleman in the DT and who brought the order out, was very pleasant. He seemed surprised I asked for the receipt when he asked if I wanted it. I guess if you don't get the receipt you won't fill out the survey...“
