“Best poke place in Madison. Period. Everything is always super fresh and they really top your bowl to the brim. I love that they don't have a limit on toppings so I don't have to choose between all my favorites. Even though a bowl is pretty filling, I always save room for their shaved ice or pineapple dole whip.

“Classic must try pizzeria. Absolutely delicious, they come up with great pie ideas and they are ALL hits. Their service is impeccable and their excellent cocktails give the experience the cherry on top . To add to that the prices are super reasonable. Great atmosphere, can't recommend this enough. It's become a go to return spot over the years, wether I go for a nice dinner with my partner, or getting "fancy" pizza and drinks with friends, this is the place to go.“

During our last visit (Madison, WI), the Culinary Manager Kevin made our favorite dish that was discontinued - Thai Coconut Shrimp that our favorite waitress, Cam asked if he would do for us. “The food was great. We had less than stellar service, our server was nice but I ordered a wine flight to pair with my 3 courses plus a sparkling wine to start. The wines didn't come until after the first course was done. They never brought the second course or any bread so I ended up having 4 glasses of wine for my main course which was ok, but not what I had planned on . I'm sure the recommended pairings are great with the food as Ive heard others recommend doing that; hopefully next time I'll be able to enjoy them together! The medallion trio was great as was the buratta sausage flat bread!“

“We don’t have much places in Milwaukee that specifically does dim sum. This is my go to place in Madison for all you can eat dim sum and for their other dishes as well. Me and my sisters love this place. The dim sum is always so good! The other dishes are just as good. I definitely recommend their soup dumpling and garlic green beans.“

“We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the One and Only for hosting an incredible elopement dinner for our family! Robin was fantastic in helping us plan details and menu selections ahead of time, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. We enjoyed the Deviled Eggs, Roasted Red Pepper Dish, and were delighted by the complimentary Roasted Green Bean Salad from the Chef. All three dishes were absolutely delicious!

For our main courses, we had the Stacked Burger, Scallops, Steak, and Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders. Each dish was beautifully plated and generously portioned. Our server and other staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had little ones in our party, and they were very accommodating by providing highchairs, a children’s menu, and kid-friendly cups. Additionally, we had a guest in a wheelchair, and the space was accessible for them, which was great.

“I am not a regular customer of this establishment, but normally received decent service when I do order until today. I always get the same thing and don't necessarily stray away from my normal order when I do come here. I would order a 6 piece chicken/6 piece fish combo which comes with fries and drink and add our own condiments. The meal normally comes out to $21.99 and with taxes $23.20. But I was charged $25 and some change. The price didn't sounded right and asked for a breakdown in charges. The cashier proceed to show me the cash register to demonstrate no errors occurred. But it shows the original amount of $23.20 (normal price with taxes as original stated). The cashier claim that price shown is the price only for the chicken, then proceeded in trying to convince me that because I wanted a combo meal (fries and drink) that an additional $2.00 will be added. I needed to double check my transaction history and statement to reconfirm the details, where I confirmed that I paid $23.50 in the past. I do not like shady business practices in which businesses are taking advantage and over charging minorities who are primarily black customers because these types of restaurants are in black communities. I noticed that recently received PPP with an upward of $9500 for their business. If you choose to continue going to this place, please get a receipt and ask questions and advocate for yourself. It isn't right when minorities have been heavy impacted by the pandemic with health and financially.“

“Porta Bella has a great atmosphere for a date night since it is dark with cozy dining nooks. There is a parking garage directly infront of the restaurant with plenty of parking!
The food was delicious with great size portions.
Would highly recommend the lasagna and the calamari!“
