“It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. The restaurant is ran by the husband and wife very cute couple. Love the vibes that they bring to the restaurant. We ordered two soda cans and mozzarella sticks, fries with the side of BBQ. My wife ordered Chicago style hot dog. All the food was on top notch. It was served hot and well cooked fries it has skin on them. I love homemade fries. Will we go there again yes we will. Oh there is a dollar beer too and a gambling room. Kid friendly too. They got pictures to color on and they post it on the wall too so you know they are very appreciative when it comes to guest regardless if they are adults and children. All people are welcome. “Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“

“It is located in a gas station, but don't let looks fool you. The prices are cheaper than in the Chicago area. The bread is always fresh. They do not skimp out on the ingredients. “I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.“

I had a couple small concerns with the service, but as I said it was my first time here so I don't know what their normal is. The waitress was very attentive to start and quite friendly. After the food was delivered, she didn't stop by much. She did check once but later would have been nice for additional napkins or another drink but she didn't come around. Not sure if she was letting us enjoy our food or wasn't paying attention to us. The other concern I had is becoming more common everywhere BUT it would have been nice to be warned that there was an extra fee for using a credit card. It wasn't a ridiculous amount but it would have been nice to be told when I handed over my credit card because I could have used cash instead. Overall, a good experience and the menu has more items that sound pretty good! Might need to try it again!“

“For a bar in Fox Lake this place is pretty good. It's got plenty of beer and liquor, along with some basic food to go along with it. Lynn Catherine's is hilariously described as a deli: that's funny stuff. Come here to play some slots and hang. The prices are pretty good, but you wouldn't expect to pay much at a place such as this. After visiting the lake we came here. It's one of the many bars in town, located in the middle of downtown close to a few others. This place doesn't look like much, but has a good amount of indoor seating and there's a patio. Drinks are cheap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail like whiskey and whatever. Even though the food isn't impressive, it's not like it's bad. It's about $7 for shareables such as the Pretzel Bites. These were a little burnt, but not that bad to be honest. Good place for cheap drinks and food. It's popular with locals but it's a good place for anyone to stop into. There's also events like live music and whatever.“
