“We came in on a Monday night celebrating our grandparents birthday. We had quite a large group. Our server, Kayley, was very attentive and our food came out amazing. She even brought us birthday cake with candles and it made their night! Thank you for the excellent food and service!”

I'd like to see a wait staff on the floor.The building is cool with late 18th, early 19th century charm.Street parking appears to be the way. However, we parked in a lot across the street.I would definitely return.”

“We stopped in for a quick bite and got a couple burgers. Hands down, they have the best burgers in the area. The bar was pretty busy and we still got great service and a chance to chat with the bartender. She was amazing and you could tell she's the woman who holds the front end together. We will definitely be back to try the fish fry that they are pretty famous for.”

My eggs and hash were perfectly done to my request and my wife's French toast was decadent!! We highly recommend this establishment and there are many homemade items. Definitely coming back!”

“I go here about once a week when I go to the library. A little pricey but I love all their monthly drinks and the variety of products. My favorite drink they have right now is the nutty Irishman and my favorite food item is their garden bagels. Always so good. Today I went for a second time in a week and spiced it up. I got a match madness which is a vanilla cinnamon coffee drink and an espresso brownie. So yummy!!! Always so friendly and quick. Now knowing they do pick up orders. I might have to come a few times a week before work. More I get order and familiar with local businesses around here. I am so happy to give my money to the small businesses! Especially when they are a 10 out of 10! Thanks guys, you rock!”

“I recently was in with my mom and a lady named Decorah or Cora-who wasn't our server; was at the register. My Mom gave her the receipt and paid with cash (bill was $50.99 and gave her $60) and server gave back only a penny for change. As my mom looked at the receipt closely, Server kept reassuring her that she had given her the correct amount of change back, then my mom said "we'll I gave you $60, so I would need more than just a penny back. Server then apologized and then giggled and said "ooh I'm bad at math, my brain, blah blah -here you go" gave my mom some dollars back and said I apologize again( mind you she didn't even provide my mom with a receipt. My mom came back to her seat and recounted her money and realized that wasn't correct ither- the lady only had given her back $4 and should have given her a total of $9, so was missing $5) my mom came back to the register and had said "this isn't right you gave me only $4, not $9" As I was speaking with Server Cora, another tall women- server looked at us with a disgust look, like we had figured out their scheme) and so Cora then gave my mom $5, again without a receipt. So a couple things I noticed as her daughter : (Couldn't have been her first scheme) I mean this Cora Server has worked there awhile now (years) and as a server you should know math and if not then the computer should calculate it for you with the correct amount and also provide customers with a receipt, she also raised her voice repeating herself as if she was correct on the 1c change that was given back to my mom. I think she did this to my mom,because she is an elderly women who doesn't speak much English. So anyone who comes to this establishment should make sure to ask for a receipt and count your money.”

“We decided to try a new place for fish fry tonight and it do NOT disappoint! I had the 2pc, 1 baked and 1 deep fried with a large side of baby reds. everything was seasoned perfectly. My boys each had french fries with their fish and they were crispy and hot. Even my hubby who is more of a baked fish guy decided to skip the usual and go deep fried, the plates were empty when the table was cleared. Our server was super friendly, fast, and paid attention to detail. We will definitely be going back to have many more fish fry Fridays here and checking out the other items available throughout the week!!! Great job Pour House”

“The fried Green Beans were delicious! So was the Fish Fry, wish there was maybe a 4th piece or that the 3 were a little larger, but it was super yummy!!! Although all the tables were full and there were only like 3 people working (2 bar tenders and one cook from what I could tell), the female bartender did a fantastic job running the floor and serving the tables. She was very nice and gave recommendations since my mom and I were in from out of town. And the prices were very reasonable: less than $40 for an appetizer, 2 dinners, and a beer. Highly recommend!

“Anchor Bay Bar and Grill offers a beautiful atmosphere on the scenic Wisconsin River. We ordered a homemade pizza pizza and one of their specialty burgers. They were both very tasty. They have a large bar and dining room area to accommodate large groups of people along with ample outdoor seating. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Parking: Large gravel parking lot with ample parking. There is no charge to park.

Kid-friendliness: This bar & grill offers two styles of high chairs and has booster seats. The bathroom also has a baby changing station.

Wheelchair accessibility: This bar & grill offers two big double doors as the entrance for easy entry. Tables in the dining room are adequately spaced for accessibility. There are also seating options on the patio that would be appropriate.”

“We had our wedding this past weekend in Stevens point. Kathy and her crew from Chat-R-Box was amazing to work with. Kathy has a nice variety of meal options to choose from. They provided a very good taste testing experience. Once we decided what we wanted for our meal, she ensured that there would be extra food and not to worry, which there was. Come the wedding day they provided excellent service and even better food! We had multiple compliments from many guests on how good the chicken and the rest of the meal was. If you are looking for excellence food with great service at a reasonable price Chat-R-Box is the way to go! Would recommend them!”

Good selection of beers and spirits in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. They say some of the best food comes from small bars in the midwest, and this is a great example. You won't leave hungry!”

“A+ experience. Our first time here last Saturday and every part was fantastic. Enjoyed 2 appetizers at the bar while we waited. The homemade chips are great! Steak was cooked exactly how we liked and salad bar was very good as well. Loved that there was a kids menu and crayons for our 2 young children to color while we waited and also a fun "treasure chest" of small toys for the kids to choose from on our way out. Kids can't wait to go back and neither can we! Fantastic service all around and wonderful food!”

“I have to drive to Rapids now just to have this because they left Marshfield but the food is always amazing, the only issue me and my partner noticed is your speaker at the drive thru is horrible. Get it fixed immediately, I can't understand a word being said, it sounds like someone is talking from 50 feet away without their headset on. I also hate not knowing the total for my order before I get to the window because sometimes I use cash to pay.”

“Haven't been there in a long time. Seems like they have cleaned the place up have service staff that's pleasant and efficient. This is a "home style" type place. I had the open face turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy which was very good and reasonably priced.”

You could tell it had been microwaved too long. It had definitely become an Elly Mae Biscuit. Note to the cook: Reheating biscuits too long makes them rock hard.”
