“If I could give more than five stars, I would. From the moment we walked into Junkyard Bar & Grill, we were treated like regulars…even though it was our very first visit. And a huge part of that magic came from our incredible waitress, lovingly known as “Junkyard Jackie.” Truly one of those rare humans who makes you feel instantly welcome, cared for, and genuinely happy to be there. The kind of service where you laugh, relax, and feel like you’ve known each other for years. Honestly, Jackie could’ve served me something in a shoe and I’d still be raving about this place…she alone made the experience unforgettable. Now let’s talk about the food… because WOW. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing. The perch? Hands down the best perch we’ve ever had…perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. And the fact that they do their fish fry all week long is a dream come true, because it was exactly what I was craving and it delivered in every way. Portions were generous, prices were excellent, and everything tasted fresh and made to order. What really stood out is that you can tell this place puts their heart into what they do…heart into the food and heart into the people they hire. Great food is wonderful, but when it’s paired with service that makes you feel seen and appreciated, like Jackie did today, it becomes something special. We’ll absolutely be back…and we’ll be asking for Jackie every time. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and go. Come hungry, leave happy, and be prepared to add this place to your list of favorites.”

“My wife and I enjoyed a DELICIOUS breakfast this morning!! The staff, Kim and the cook were excellent and extremely friendly and welcoming! My eggs and hash were perfectly done to my request and my wife's French toast was decadent!! We highly recommend this establishment and there are many homemade items. Definitely coming back!”

“The fried Green Beans were delicious! So was the Fish Fry, wish there was maybe a 4th piece or that the 3 were a little larger, but it was super yummy!!! Although all the tables were full and there were only like 3 people working (2 bar tenders and one cook from what I could tell), the female bartender did a fantastic job running the floor and serving the tables. She was very nice and gave recommendations since my mom and I were in from out of town. And the prices were very reasonable: less than $40 for an appetizer, 2 dinners, and a beer. Highly recommend!

“I go here about once a week when I go to the library. A little pricey but I love all their monthly drinks and the variety of products. My favorite drink they have right now is the nutty Irishman and my favorite food item is their garden bagels. Always so good. Today I went for a second time in a week and spiced it up. I got a match madness which is a vanilla cinnamon coffee drink and an espresso brownie. So yummy!!! Always so friendly and quick. Now knowing they do pick up orders. I might have to come a few times a week before work. More I get order and familiar with local businesses around here. I am so happy to give my money to the small businesses! Especially when they are a 10 out of 10! Thanks guys, you rock!”

“We came in on a Monday night celebrating our grandparents birthday. We had quite a large group. Our server, Kayley, was very attentive and our food came out amazing. She even brought us birthday cake with candles and it made their night! Thank you for the excellent food and service!”

My ribeye was done perfectly…nice fresh baked potato with the fixins’ and the veggies were done just right with a little bit of crispness. Cocktails were also done great! “Stopped tonight for a Fish Fry. We don't get here often enough. Friendly service and our food was delicious. We started out with a few cocktails and the deep fried pickle spears. Followed that up with the 2 piece Haddock, with added shrimp and the 2 piece Canadian Walleye. Zero complaints.”

On my most recent visit, I was disappointed to notice that the silverware and plates were not completely clean. Additionally, my wife’s salad was served on a plastic plate, which felt out of place for what is otherwise positioned as a more upscale restaurant.”

“We decided to try a new place for fish fry tonight and it do NOT disappoint! I had the 2pc, 1 baked and 1 deep fried with a large side of baby reds. everything was seasoned perfectly. My boys each had french fries with their fish and they were crispy and hot. Even my hubby who is more of a baked fish guy decided to skip the usual and go deep fried, the plates were empty when the table was cleared. Our server was super friendly, fast, and paid attention to detail. We will definitely be going back to have many more fish fry Fridays here and checking out the other items available throughout the week!!! Great job Pour House”

“The food was wonderful. Only one bartender though so had to keep going up to the bar for any food or drinks. It is obvious there are alot of regulars that go there...they took up the entire bar at 1:30pm on a Saturday and at times they were a bit loud but certainly nothing super bothersome. That's the only potentially negative thing I have to say.”

“So many great things about The Branding Iron!!!! The best thing about this place is the staff and the owner. They make us feel so welcome every time we come in. Our waitress even remembers my order and just asks if I’d like the usual. Now, the food…oh the food…prime rib is seasoned PERFECTLY..it’s sooo tender and juicy. The salad bar is filled with all of the favorites, including pub cheese spread and crackers!! Lastly the cocktails…every month there are new specials, I’ve never seen such creativity in a drink menu. Different flavored old fashioned’s every month. (The blackberry vanilla old fashioned is to die for! ). All in all, The Branding Iron is the best supper club around!!!”

“I really like that they do their best to hire local high school kids. The restaurant is a throwback in appearance which is cool. Food is made to order and is grilled. It's a nostalgic fast food spot straight out of the 80s. It takes a bit longer to get your food, but the kids are making it after you order.”

“We went to Grace's on a recommendation, and I have too whole heartedly say, this is one of the best diner experiences we have had! I had the country breakfast, and mind you it was after 2pm, the biscuits were absolutely pillows and melt in your mouth, everything was hot and delicious, my husband got the country skillet, he said it was wonderful.
I 100% Highly recommend Grace's!!
