“We came in on a Monday night celebrating our grandparents birthday. We had quite a large group. Our server, Kayley, was very attentive and our food came out amazing. She even brought us birthday cake with candles and it made their night! Thank you for the excellent food and service!“

“I recently was in with my mom and a lady named Decorah or Cora-who wasn't our server; was at the register. My Mom gave her the receipt and paid with cash (bill was $50.99 and gave her $60) and server gave back only a penny for change. As my mom looked at the receipt closely, Server kept reassuring her that she had given her the correct amount of change back, then my mom said "we'll I gave you $60, so I would need more than just a penny back. Server then apologized and then giggled and said "ooh I'm bad at math, my brain, blah blah -here you go" gave my mom some dollars back and said I apologize again( mind you she didn't even provide my mom with a receipt. My mom came back to her seat and recounted her money and realized that wasn't correct ither- the lady only had given her back $4 and should have given her a total of $9, so was missing $5) my mom came back to the register and had said "this isn't right you gave me only $4, not $9" As I was speaking with Server Cora, another tall women- server looked at us with a disgust look, like we had figured out their scheme) and so Cora then gave my mom $5, again without a receipt. So a couple things I noticed as her daughter : (Couldn't have been her first scheme) I mean this Cora Server has worked there awhile now (years) and as a server you should know math and if not then the computer should calculate it for you with the correct amount and also provide customers with a receipt, she also raised her voice repeating herself as if she was correct on the 1c change that was given back to my mom. I think she did this to my mom,because she is an elderly women who doesn't speak much English. So anyone who comes to this establishment should make sure to ask for a receipt and count your money.“

“We had our wedding this past weekend in Stevens point. Kathy and her crew from Chat-R-Box was amazing to work with. Kathy has a nice variety of meal options to choose from. They provided a very good taste testing experience. Once we decided what we wanted for our meal, she ensured that there would be extra food and not to worry, which there was. Come the wedding day they provided excellent service and even better food! We had multiple compliments from many guests on how good the chicken and the rest of the meal was. If you are looking for excellence food with great service at a reasonable price Chat-R-Box is the way to go! Would recommend them!“

“When we got there there was only two people in the restaurant. The food was okay. The liver and onions were kind of bland unions were kind of burnt. I ordered pork chops and french fries. The pork chops were cooked well but they definitely needed a little more seasoning. Our waitress was nice polite make sure our coffee was filled.

“I go to play bingo nearly every Tuesday. Keep in mind that bingo on Tuesdays does not continue during the busy summer months. The bartenders are very nice, and the food is great with decent sized portions. The atmosphere is on the trendy side. The bar seems to be very clean.“

“The fried Green Beans were delicious! So was the Fish Fry, wish there was maybe a 4th piece or that the 3 were a little larger, but it was super yummy!!! Although all the tables were full and there were only like 3 people working (2 bar tenders and one cook from what I could tell), the female bartender did a fantastic job running the floor and serving the tables. She was very nice and gave recommendations since my mom and I were in from out of town. And the prices were very reasonable: less than $40 for an appetizer, 2 dinners, and a beer. Highly recommend!

“Absolutely Loved it!! Came to eat breakfast with my family. Our meals, service and total atmosphere was beyond my expectations. The Waitresses are very polite and friendly too. Another plus was we didn't wait too long for our orders either.

“Shake are the best but something is up with prices. Sign said 3.98 for a jumbo shake, they told us our total for 2 was $9.90. Asked the cashier about it and he just said "you got the jumbo" and I again told him the sign says $3.98 for jumbo. Cue blank stare“

“We met for breakfast (4 adults and 1 child). We got our food in a reasonable amount of time and everything was good. Except for the biscuit (biscuits & gravy). You could tell it had been microwaved too long. It had definitely become an Elly Mae Biscuit. Note to the cook: Reheating biscuits too long makes them rock hard.“
