“We had a group of 8 for a lovely tea yesterday afternoon. The table was set so beautifully! The scones were heavenly and all the sandwiches and desserts were so delicious! Customer service was excellent and the wild flowers were so beautiful! Will definitely be back on our next vacation! We enjoyed getting to meet the owners little daughter Lily as an extra assistant!”

“Can’t beat the quality and pricing. It’s a tavern so don’t expect white linen or wait staff hovering over your shoulder but everything is freshly made in house with the exception of a couple of bar foods. Servings are generous and prices are very reasonable.”

“We had friends up and ate there twice. The Friday night chicken specials were a hit and the lasagna is always good. After golfing on Sunday, we enjoyed the lunch specials. The food was great, the service was quick, tge prices were fair and GM Chris made sure everything was taken care of. Thanks !!”

“Ordered catering for 70 people at a local nursing home, the order was 100% correct,, down to the salad dressings (unheard of these days) subs and salads were fresh and delicious. The ladies inside helped get the order out the door in quick fashion as well. The staff were very complimentary of the meals from this locally owned Subway.”

“I have eaten here multiple times and I've always been happy with the customer service and the food. Tonight I had a few questions about the rewards card and the worker both were very helpful. They were polite and didn't mind holding a conversation with customer as they worked. Also the one making my sub took the time to make it right instead of throwing it together quickly ike other places.”

“Casual resort/motel on a beautiful big lake. We stayed one night and played golf. The food at the restaurant was very good. Nothing fancy but hits the spot. Rooms are very plain but it's a place to sleep. Didn't hear any neighbors. Golf was a lot of fun. The course isn't too hard but has some challenges and a mix of dog legs and elevation changes. A few holes on the lake which are nice. Hole 10 is awesome. The conditions are fine, not bad, not great, but the price is right for what you get. Don't think this will be a destination for me again but it was a fun time and recommend if you're in the area.

“We stopped here after a volleyball game at East Preston before heading back to Morgantown. I'm not sure how many people were working but there was a good wait, plus people from the game were coming into the dining room too.

I have to say, that even with the wait, the service we received was excellent. Everyone was patient and more than willing to make sure we weren't missing anything. And I loved my food, which rarely happens for me at a Dairy Queen when I'm not just getting a burger.

Kudos to everyone on staff, y'all did an amazing job!”
