“Laid back, friendly, and very affordable restaurant. 4th visit there and the food is always exceptional, and the service is great. I was never a fan of pepperoni rolls until I had theirs ... they made a believer out of me! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent, and the chicken pot pie (from a previous visit) was" just like Mom used to make!" Like many places in Davis, parking is a challenge. Do not be deterred by a full lot; they still probably have tables available, as they can seat a good many. You can park on the side street behind the restaurant.“

“This restaurant is the best in the area! The beef brisket was so tender and juicy. They also had a lot menu choices for kids. The mozzarella sticks were amazingly cheesy and gave me a long cheese pull. The service was excellent as well! Not to mention there’s a breathtaking view of the mountain right behind the restaurant/lodge. Great place to eat if you’re in the area!“
