“My husband and I stopped for lunch on our snow bird ride north. We ordered the Brunswick stew which was the best we’ve ever had. The sauce was incredible. The service was friendly and efficient. This was enough to ensure a stop on our trip north or south… but wait, there’s more! I somehow left my credit card there but didn’t notice until we were 2 states beyond. Ordinarily I would have cancelled the card and requested a new one, but I ha a good feeling about the people here so I asked if they would charge $10 as a token of my appreciation mail it back. “I got a Gorgonzola salad from here, and it was fantastic. There were generous amounts of ingredients- the lettuce, cranberries, bacon, lettuce, etc.- and they were well blended. The salad itself was huge. They do not skimp you on the portions. The management and staff that I spoke with were friendly, welcoming, and personable. This place is definitely a spot to order out lunch from.“

“I love coming here. They have a nice little farmers market out front. I usually go when i want something light and fresh. I prefer getting the panini with turkey, bacon, and apples. The crab nachos are pretty awesome as well. The one item on the menu that i wouldn't recommend is the brisket. Edit: 2 years later. Food still good.“

“This locally-owned restaurant is a hidden gem that I hadn't been to before. The food was quite good, and the prices were wonderfully affordable. The only drawback was that they close at 7 pm, which makes it a dash to get there after work on a weeknight.It's very worth the run to Inwood. We will eat here again for sure.“

“I was working in the area and googled “Best Crabcakes” in Martinsburg. Kitzies was tops. So I went, let me tell you OMG the very best! However everything on the menu looked good and prices very reasonable so I ordered a Crabcake sandwich TO GO and had the Fish n Chips there. While the show/substance itself wasn't actually all that great (2 out of 5 comedians made me laugh), the food at the bar and grille was Fantastic! “As a housing case manager at Telamon, it is part of my my job to secure meals for all of my clients for the holidays. I decided to reach out to the manager, Dan, this time prior to Easter and am so gladI did. Dan was wonderful and worked with me to explain what they could do and everything that was included, he provided a discount on each meal for our clients, and was very helpful and nice. When my co-workers and I picked up the meals we were greatly impressed with everything. The meals were all rwady and bagged up, the mac and cheese was in seperate containers, and each roll was individually wrapped, plus they provided plenty of utensils and butter. The manager and another employee also helped us carry everything out and put it in the vehicle for us. Not only was everyone friendly and professional, the restraunt was clean and looked great, and the food smelled and looked great. After we delivered the meals, I recieved calls/texts from several of the clients saying that the food tasted great as well. I highly recommend Martinsburg Family diner because their food is great, the service is wonderful, and they truly care about the community. Thank you all so much for your help. “I love to come here because everyone is always friendly, our server was so nice and very attentive to us. It was the first time my fiance and I have been out in a restaurant for a while, and we both had a great time. I also brought a NASA tee shirt my dad loves and earrings that my mom adores. I found an amazing pen and an amazing jelly belly jellybean dispenser that came in 3 pastel colors and actually worked! The store is so good for gifts there. You can always find something unique.“
