“My wife and I have eaten at the Dog Haus for years. The owner and employees treat us like family. The food, including desserts, is homemade and very delicious. Ribs are excellent. It’s your fault if you leave hungry, cause portions are generous. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.”

“I had not been to the Levee House in many years. The other day I wanted to take my mom to a lunch with a view, I decided to give it a try. First of all, it has been under new ownership for a few years. The owner/chef, introduced himself to us when we arrived. We were seated by the window and watched the boats and people. The view was beautiful. However, everyone knows about the view. What they may not know about is the food. Mom and I ordered and split the crab/lobster rolls. Both were absolutely amazing and half the price of what I have seen elsewhere. The price for that, sides, a desert, and two sodas was cheaper than a meal at Applebees, but the food, atmosphere, and hometown feel was so much better. This will be a new favorite for our family.”

We have been coming to The Galley to celebrate for the past six years as a tradition and each visit is amazing. Our supper on Friday 10/25 was no exception. Everything from the appetizers and drinks to the entrees and desert was scrumptious and our server Dustin was excellent. He truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. “We went to the Mineral Wells Cracker Barrel for dinner. Our server was Trenton. He done an excellent job 10/10. It was pretty busy but he didn't miss a beat. I had the country fried steak mashed potatoes and a salad. It was delicious. The mashed potatoes were a little off but good. 9/10. My husband got the rainbow trout baked potato and broccoli 10/10. Over all the place was very clean. Keep up the good work.”
