“Hotdogs not 'hot' this time, but usually delicious. A couple machines not opporable at full potential ie. Constant alarm for door ajar, no volume for another, and one kept freezing up. These were remedied with a slap on the side or a little shaky- shake. I'm sorry but I consider any disfunction be only used with a discount. And it's a must for volume at a reasonable level. That's part of the fun! Always love Putnam County for smoker's rights!! Good place, always recommended!!“

“The food is always some of the best around and their portions are more than ample. You most certainly get your money's worth.The atmosphere and setting are always upbeat and remind you of an old 70s style diner.Highly recommend stopping in here for a bit. They also allow Doordarsh orders.Parking: Located in the front of the building and around the side, there are enough parking spots to cover every table in the diner.“

“They recently remodeled this place and the updates looks great! We ordered pizza and it was really good! The bar has a great selection of drinks. The seating is a little crowded but it’s no big deal. I am so happy we went after not being there in years. We’re already planning on going back soon.“

Bathrooms were pretty dirty, soda spilled in the back hallway making it sticky. Will definitely be back to this area. “I stopped in for late lunch the atmosphere was pretty cool playing some 50s music and 50s memorabilia on the walls. The menu had lots of theme names to it. Laid back place plenty of room between tables and clean. I ordered a Peggy sue burger which was a handmade burger topped with fried green tomatoes and homemade palmetto cheese. Bun was soft. The sandwich comes chips I upgraded to fries for extra $2. Worth it in my opinion. This was one of the best burgers I have had in a while.“

“Went through the Drive-thru just to grab a Large coffee (hence the 4-star for Atmosphere rating). There was no one else in line, so wait time was zero. The lady taking my order was very pleasant and friendly. Coffee was hot and tasted great. It was obviously just made. She also got my cream and sweetener ratio correct. Thanks BK for the fast pick-me-up. Next time, maybe I'll try some solid food!“

“Burgers and fries are great! Staff is very friendly. The pop dispenser and tables were dirty but we could have just missed a rush or something and maybe they hadn't had time to clean. Overall, it's very good and I would eat there again and recommend to others.“

There aren't very many places that always have a staff full of teens that so consistently has such good service and friendly, helpful employees. (Actually, that goes for places that aren't staffed by teens as well.) We're lucky to have this DQ and its people here in St. Albans!If they would go back to not buttering the TX toast that comes with their chicken baskets (or buttering it before they toast it? I don't know), everything would be perfect. “I always get a Large Iced Caramel Coffee with extra caramel and extra cream. My coffee is always spot on. I'd say I go to this location 3 or more times a week. The drive through lady works her butt off, the window workers are really nice to me. I've never had a bad time here. Thank you.“

“I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger in the drive thru. The gentleman who waited on me was very professional. They were quick and efficient in putting out the drive thru order. The only thing I didn't like was the mushroom Swiss burger. it has some sort of sauce on it that I didn't care for. Had I known about the sauce, I would have asked them not to put it on the sandwich.“

Big portions for very affordable prices.On Sundays, my husband takes the kids and I here and as long as the weather cooperates, we eat outside.I grew up eating Checkers and I am glad my kids can experience something similar to my childhood, even for a small experience, my kids will remember this forever.“
