“We had reservations at another restaurant for a birthday lunch at 1pm with a party of 13, as we were pulling into the parking lot the restaurant called and told us they couldn’t serve us because we had kids in our party. We showed up at Copper Still Pub at 12:50 and explained the situation. The waitress said “We would be happy to accommodate your party.” It was the best experience! The waitress, the food, the cleanliness, professionalism, 100% recommend! They didn’t have to step in where another restaurant let us down, but they did! And they went above and beyond our expectations! Thank you so much! We cannot say enough nice things about this place! We will be back, that’s for sure!!“

“We visited Two Twisted Posts Winery for the first time and were blown away by how beautiful the property is! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome — especially after being greeted by the sweetest Weimaraner puppy.

Even though it was a busy day, the staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We opted for the white wine tasting flight and also tried a glass of the peach sangria. The oaked Chardonnay was a standout — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sangria was cold, refreshing, and just what we needed on a summer day.

We relaxed on the patio, enjoyed some great live music, and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere. This venue has everything — great wine, friendly vibes, and a lovely outdoor space. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!“

“Old 690 is definitely hard to find, but most definitely harder to leave! Great everything! Beer, food, friendly staff, ambiance, easy going atmosphere, you name it! We don't get there often enough since we live 90 minutes away but everyone go! You'll be glad you did. Looking forward to Wicked Old Lady Pumpkin Beer like we do every fall!“

Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.“

“I wanted to leave a review for Paddy’s since every other one was negative and not helpful! We are staying in the area for vacation and wanted to go somewhere for dinner. Paddy’s had a wide variety on their menu; Irish food, sandwiches, seafood and specials each night. The restaurant is in a historical building in the heart of Charles Town. We went on a Wednesday night and it was surprisingly pretty busy! We got set right away and food did not take very long either. There seemed to be maybe only 2 servers for a big (2 room) restaurant, but even the service was not too slow- just more laid back. We all enjoyed our food and I especially wanted to note they the wing night special (6 bone in wings for 6 dollars) was awesome! Good wings for a good price! My only complaint is there was no Irish music playing! Overall good experience and if you’re looking for a casual, solid dining experience in the area I would recommend!“

“Great food that is reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff. My only down side is when having brunch on Sunday at 12 it was so busy the noise level made it hard to have a conversation. But it's a great place for breakfast (and we are there on 4 weekdays as a consequence). So yes it's worth a visit but possibly avoid Sunday as it is a very noisy day.“
