“Have you ever had a meal in which you just don't want it to end? The flavors enhanced one another. We had scallops served with a pork belly slowly roasted to perfection. Our bison burger was so tender, cooked med rare and the freshest beets, potatoes and carrots roasted . The carmel toffee dessert melted in your mouth. The service was spot on. a lovely meal to the end of a great vacation in Banff.“

“The views at this restaurant really stole the show. The food was AMAZING and the menu had good variety for whatever mood you’re in. The wait staff was super friendly and offered great service, but they were a little inattentive, so if you need their attention or the check, just wave them down and they’ll usually be pretty quick to respond. When I went it was a Saturday at 6pm in May and it was really quiet, not super busy and had sports games, pool, and again an amazing patio with stunning views. It really hit the spot for us, and it supports the creative arts center which was a win. Would recommend!“

We were very impressed that they had a separate halal menu, and the head chef came out to talk about it with us and he was very friendly. We got the Purple Haze mocktail, the ribeye, the lobster carbonara, and the crostada for dessert. 10/10! We will definitely be coming back!“

“I must give a shout-out to Zoran who was our server for lunch at the Vermillion Room on May 31. We were a Mother-Daughter-Grandmother group, thrilled to be in Banff and grateful to be together. Zoran's service was impeccable. He knew what we needed before we did. He was kind, attentive, and sincere. He knew the menu inside-out and we enjoyed the Beef Dip sandwich and the Croque Monsieur. The Paris-Brest was a lovely surprise to fête Grandma's recent 85th birthday! He also shared the wealth of his knowledge of the area and suggested some sites to see that would truly elevate our experience in Banff. Zoran represents Fairmont to the highest of standards. “Got hot chocolate, barista was so kind, friendly and helpful and remade my partner’s cup of hot chocolate as it cooled down when my partner brought my cup up to me on the m2 level for the view, which barista recommended. View was amazing and hot chocolate was delicious!! Thank you!“

I also bought some artwork displayed for sale (Lynne Huras), and the barista even thanked me for supporting local artists. I definitely recommend checking out the art on display.

“Oh wow... I was honestly treated so much better here than I was at the keg that I worked for personally back in Calgary. Our server Lauren was so kind and spot on with our table service, and when the missus' steak was a little underdone for her liking, Lauren took care of it right away and had it cooked by the kitchen staff to perfection. Gerry/Jerry the General Manager came over to our table and wanted to make sure everything was tasting great (which it was!) and he was such a delight to speak with. I honestly wished my GM from the Keg I worked with back in Calgary was even half as friendly as he was! Thank you to everybody who was on that night for making our Valentines Day so amazing, and we will certainly be back to eat at the Keg in the Caribou lodge specifically!
