“Have you ever had a meal in which you just don't want it to end? The flavors enhanced one another. We had scallops served with a pork belly slowly roasted to perfection. Our bison burger was so tender, cooked med rare and the freshest beets, potatoes and carrots roasted . The carmel toffee dessert melted in your mouth. The service was spot on. a lovely meal to the end of a great vacation in Banff.“

“The food and service at La Terrazza was absolutely amazing. Our server, Flora, was so friendly and helped us pick out an amazing meal (highly recommend the Bison Canneloni) and wine pairings. We continued our night at their bar and we were served some excellent cocktails by Fillip — we really enjoyed the conversation with both Fillip and Flora about their experiences living in Banff compared to their homelands. Such a memorable experience thanks to them both! We will be back for sure!“

“Derrek was our server and I need to mention him first because he made our first visit an amazing one. A server has a huge impact on the overall experience and Derrek was warm, welcoming, attentive, informative (knew the menu well) and had a great sense of humour. “I have to say we absolutely loved this place. This review was long overdue, but here it is. We visited to days in a row. The food was very fresh, and the drinks, everything tasted so good. We ordered the salmon donburi and different rolls. We ordered with lots of specifications and the server moona (not sure if I’m spelling correctly) made sure every order was right. She was such a light, the service was so amazing. We even chatted with her for a while.“

“Amazing!! I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't get more traffic. Perhaps because it's affiliated with the Banff Resort golf course and is out of the way? Either way, it has the best views in all of Banff, it's got almost 360 degree windows all around, sitting right in the middle of a gorgeous golf course with plenty of wildlife grazing around. I had pulled pork entree, which easily was the best pulled pork I've ever had. It literally exploded in your mouth:) David the server was extremely helpful and friendly, he made great suggestions for the sides, and was a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!“

“Great breakfast buffet and some of the best restaurant views in Banff. The buffet had lots of selection and even gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. We wished there was toast, but there were other pastries and French toast. Unfortunately, the service was not great. The servers paid little attention and it took a long time to get coffee.“

“I ordered a lavender honey latte and was patiently waiting at one of the window seats. I noticed one of the baristas make a hot drink and set it at the drink stand. She took the drink ticket and placed it on the metal stick where the finished drink tickets go. She then continued to talk to her coworker. No name was called out and I waited a few minutes until I had to go up myself and look at the drink ticket pile to see if it was my drink. I found this odd because prior drinks the barista would call out the persons name.. other than that the lavender honey latte was good“

“So being an owner of a Fry/poutine truck in Ontario. I had to try Banff Poutine ! Met the owner Eric. We had a wonderful chat and the classic poutine large was lots for my wife and I. And of course a steamy hot dog 🌭 was a must. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a taste of a true Canadian dish !“

They e had to amend my order a few times when they realized they couldn't accommodate gf but that's fine. I'm used to waiting. It's decorated really neat here.“

We love sitting on the patio on a nice day but find the indoor seating just as relaxing. “We booked a dinner reservation on a Sunday night. We were welcomed by the host right away and seated immediately, highly recommended to book a reservation. Our server was average, the place was so busy that everything felt rushed, she explained the specials and you can tell she was half in and out, not sure if she was set up for success either. Menu was kind of overwhelming, so I do suggest looking up the menu ahead of time. We ordered an Exotic and Alberta fondue selection cooked on hot rocks, and the food was good. I find overall it was just an above average experience given the menu they offer. Would I come back? Probably, if i dont have to, I won't unless im celebrating a special occasion. Our bill was 👀. They definitely can improve on the service.“
