Was looking forward to trying this new cafe instead of the same neighbourhood Tim’s. What a mistake. Very overpriced ($9.15) for an average slice of peach berry pie and a small coffee. Sad to say the coffee was great but the pie was at best …… mediocre. I make a better homemade pie crust than that, so back to Tim’s we go!!!!
Was super excited to try these guys since they have such a massive selection and should know pies, and decided to try the apple pie since that's our favorite kind. Man were we disappointed. I assume these are made with better quality ingredients than the average grocery store pie, but the one we got was so bland. It was jam packed, a huge pie, but the taste was such a let down. I have been a fan of Pies Plus since it opened. A special family business with a pie crust that defies any of the best at home crusts I have had Very reasonable prices and friendly service A true gem in this world.
