“Great selection of Japanese cuisine and good tasting too. Our tummies were very satisfied and it was very affordable. We had 2 rolls, a katsu dish and two appetizers for under $100! We are def coming back again :)

“This place is amazing. Great atmosphere, super helpful staff and hostess. Rolls are perfect sizes, with a range of large and small. Our 10 yr old wanted dumplings and the 6pc Gyoza was perfect for him. All ingredients were super fresh, avocados were the perfect ripeness. Their signature seasonal deserts are pcs of art, the amount of time and detail on these are absolutely stunning. I would travel across the city for this place, luckily we’re really close. 10/10.“

“I absolutely LOVE this place, I tell everyone to come eat here with me or order and pick-up which is usually my preference due to my work.
I always get the spicy combo, it is my favorite aw well as the bento chicken with the curry sauce, both are delicious. The bento is so filling. I can never eat it all at once which is even better as then I have a snack or dinner for later.
My only complaint is that I wish there was bigger chunks of seaweed in the miso soup but that is ALL, but this is a preference not a requirement:)
The owners are so friendly and kind, and they make me keep coming back. I am so glad I found this place, I eat here probably once a week.“

“Where do i start? This was my first time here with my mom and we were blown away! Beautiful little restaurant, this place is a GEM! It was packed for a Wednesday, but the service was consistent and incredible! The tables have extra napkins and there's a nice container with some wooden chopsticks. Your food is served on little wooden boards which was awesome! The wasabi looked like it was in the shape of a flower. The details at this place are amazing . Alot of severers and all of them were so sweet and attentive . I love the tiny portions here, it lets you trt everything on the menu without getting stuffed on rice! The sashimi is small and thin, which is just perfect. Most of the items you get only 2 pieces, you get little rice and its great! Most ayce places give you so much rice with your rolls and the portions are huge. Everything here is delicate and balanced. The beef tatayki was my favorite! Three strips of deliciousness . It makes you order more! I really enjoyed getting my sushi in controlled portions. Because of this me and my mom ate alot. We tried the toro which was extra, but it was melt in your mouth. Theres also an option here to get raw food to cook on a stone! We didnt do that, but you can get fish, shrimp, mussels and steak! You cook it right at your table . Most of the food we had melted in our mouths. What i really enjoyed was that we got everything in all our orders. We didn't have to repeat any items like we do at other sushi places. 10/10, sushi toshi is our favorite place now!!“

Although it cannot be compared to Japan's high-end omakase, the neta (fish) was very good and fresh, and I especially liked the rice grains that were soft and smooth in the mouth when eaten. I had salmon belly and tuna belly sushi, and it was oily and quite delicious. The rice was so delicious that I ordered it again, and the egg sushi I ate last took away the remaining taste in my mouth and was very refreshing. I finished the meal with the special Yuju Sorbet and finished the meal with great satisfaction. I plan to come back soon for my mom's birthday.“

Used to come often but the last time I came in the evening, the owner was very rude to a delivery driver and was yelling at him that they had no orders and kicking him out despite the driver showing him his pick up order number. Off putting since it was 9pm and pretty sure it says they close at 10. Maybe reconsider this place if thinking of ordering later in the evening.“

“I ordered on Uber eats and I am from BC and I have been craving sushi good sushi in Edmonton Alberta I have tried various places I didn't know this one existed there's one thing I was searching for and that was sockeye salmon you won't find that very commonly in Edmonton that's the only type of salmon that I like and they make and use it I had a delicious Alaska roll with smoked salmon on top asparagus and I think it had cream cheese in it it was absolutely delicious and I had some nigiri salmon nigiri sockeye sandwich and the Misty soup is good and they have the best sunonomo salad and they make a good kimchi too I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good Japanese food in Edmonton“

Foods are fresh, and good.
But I won't say it's good portion but enough, because a lot of rice.

The rice a bit hard, maybe I like a bit softer.

“Checked this place out for the first time and we weren't disappointed! All of our sushi was fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. The miso soup was piping hot and very tasty. The unagi roll was one of our favs, and with 4 huge rolls, the 2 of us left stuffed to the brim with delicious sushi, our bill was ~$50. The servers were all friendly and helpful, so glad we stopped in!“

I’ve eaten sushi all over the world, and Kabuki Sushi ranks among the best I’ve ever had. As far as Edmonton goes, this is hands down the best spot for sushi.

“Great sushi situation in a house. Their rolls and bulgogi dishes were great. Their sushi is also good with huge portions of sushi. Their dynamic roll was a bit too spicy for me so next time I’ll ask for the spicy mayo to be on the side. They recommended we get the platter next time as it is more economical. Highly recommend. They have a large patio/outside space that would be lovely in the summer.“
