Although it cannot be compared to Japan's high-end omakase, the neta (fish) was very good and fresh, and I especially liked the rice grains that were soft and smooth in the mouth when eaten. I had salmon belly and tuna belly sushi, and it was oily and quite delicious. The rice was so delicious that I ordered it again, and the egg sushi I ate last took away the remaining taste in my mouth and was very refreshing. I finished the meal with the special Yuju Sorbet and finished the meal with great satisfaction. I plan to come back soon for my mom's birthday.“

“Where do i start? This was my first time here with my mom and we were blown away! Beautiful little restaurant, this place is a GEM! It was packed for a Wednesday, but the service was consistent and incredible! The tables have extra napkins and there's a nice container with some wooden chopsticks. Your food is served on little wooden boards which was awesome! The wasabi looked like it was in the shape of a flower. The details at this place are amazing . Alot of severers and all of them were so sweet and attentive . I love the tiny portions here, it lets you trt everything on the menu without getting stuffed on rice! The sashimi is small and thin, which is just perfect. Most of the items you get only 2 pieces, you get little rice and its great! Most ayce places give you so much rice with your rolls and the portions are huge. Everything here is delicate and balanced. The beef tatayki was my favorite! Three strips of deliciousness . It makes you order more! I really enjoyed getting my sushi in controlled portions. Because of this me and my mom ate alot. We tried the toro which was extra, but it was melt in your mouth. Theres also an option here to get raw food to cook on a stone! We didnt do that, but you can get fish, shrimp, mussels and steak! You cook it right at your table . Most of the food we had melted in our mouths. What i really enjoyed was that we got everything in all our orders. We didn't have to repeat any items like we do at other sushi places. 10/10, sushi toshi is our favorite place now!!“

“I was so excited to try this place and it did not disappoint, the wait time after we ordered was about 15 mins. The flavours of the food is so good! We went with assorted sushi and Unagi was served warm and it was delicious and probably the best one out of all the items that we tried. The place have a lot of tables even for bigger groups, the place was quiet even when pack with people.

The place is close to high level bridge and walterdale bridge which i would say a nice walk after eating here would be nice too.

“I came here last night with my family, our table chef was great he was funny and cracked jokes and was overall very nice. I forgot his name though. I ordered the ribeye, and it was delicious with the sesame sauce. The soup and salad that came with it tasted great too, my family really loved the soup.“

For what you pay, they should flip cart wheels and be thankful and friendly when you walk in and leave. Tables were all soiled and goopy. They should have been wiped down. The place was kind of dirty. If it’s dirty up front, you know with out looking it’s dirty in the back. This was 4 pm when they were not busy. No excuse for such a disgustingly dirty set of tables up front. All this aside, yes I would go back, it’s good food!! lol.“

One can avoid the kids Sushi as it was mostly sea week and rice and the filling just for the eyes.
We converted 3 meals to bento boxes, but i must say that one can very much avoid them and enjoy the Sushi.“
