“Nice bakery with plenty of classic options to choose from. I ordered a custom German Chocolate Cake for the holidays by phone. It was ready on time. The cake was moist and delicious. The only issue was pick up. My little cousin picked it up for me and the clerk behind the counter had a poor attitude for not reason. My cousin was only trying to order a cookie before leaving and paying for the cookie. Rude staff at this location.“

“Magic Muffins hands down has the best wedding cakes! A coworker told me we should go take a look and we were amazed at how fresh and delicious everything was! Magic Muffins had so many photos to look at and great suggestions, so it was extremely easy to come up with the final concept for our wedding cake and groom’s cake!“

“Popped in after my haircut across the street at The Homewood Barber and I was NOT disappointed! We placed our order, I got a Chicken & cheese Quesadilla, that was prepared beautifully I might add, and my wife got their Ruben Sandwich, of which was so good, I ate half of her sandwich while she wasn't watching. Met a very nice and extremely knowledgeable employee, Sunny Prasad, and he was a literal "fountain of recommendations. And they were all delicious!

“A newly opened shop with an exceptionally friendly owner Gina. She went above and beyond to make sure I had arrest eating experience. And I did. I had a chicken chipotle panini and a peanut butter, banana, and honey shake. Both very much delicious. Thanks Snowies! And good luck!“

“I am new to the area and saw this place today. They had slices of pound cake and mini pies. They might have had other items too but I only noticed these, they captured my attention right away. I purchased a mini sweet potato pie, key lime, and a pecan. I also purchased a slice of lemon pound cake. My 12 year old announced she didn’t like pound cake or pie… A couple of hours later I tried the sweet potato pie. The 12 year old asked for a taste and begged to have the rest. Tonight we equally ate the lemon pound cake. Both superb. We haven’t tried the other 2 minis yet, but have no doubt they will be equally delicious. This place had the most delicious sweet potato pie and even better than my own (really good) lemon pound cake. Prices are reasonable and they have fantastic employees.“

“My first impressions were this is a very nice environment. Bright, open, airy and organized. I was excited to try the confetti cake bcuz I'd seen it at the Vestavia Hills location, but they were sold out of them. I'm not a regular customer so I wasn't sure if this cake was their first roll-out of large, shareable desserts. Anyway the cake was presented to me before it was boxed up and I was satisfied with its appearance. I finally tried some later on at home and was surprised that it tasted like a fine dusting of cornstarch was present on it. I mean, that's the first thing that came to mind. The cake had a large crumb like a box cake would. Overall, I was somewhat disappointed but I chalked it up to it being cold, as they keep certain desserts refrigerated. The baker did tell me the cake was brushed with condensed milk, which isn't a bad thing. It adds another layer of flavor and moisture. Well, at this point, I put the cake in the cabinet overnight. The next day, it tasted way better! I gave half of it away, and finished my piece. I can't wait until the strawberry shortcake rotates back around.“

“Found this place by accident, but I'm happy I did! Nature's own is my favorite whole wheat bread (the 100% whole wheat is vegan and delicious), and in here it's only $1.59! They had some loaves of Dave's Killer Bread as well, but it was stale. I bought one for $3.50, and will probably freeze it and use it for toast. If you eat packaged snack cakes, they had a bunch for less than $1.“
