“I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.“

“Three of us went with high expectations Two were well satisfied with Grouper and Lobster meals, I had a rib eye steak that was so tough that I was unable to eat. The manager comped the meal quickly with an apology, Believe this was a rare occasion and appreciate the way it was handled.“

“My finance and I came in for a meal and a few drinks. Being promptly greeted by Cassie with drink and food orders was a big plus. The touch tunes juke box is our fave and we were taking full advantage with some St. Paul.

Emma came in shortly after and also fulfilled drink orders for us. Both ladies were exceptional with customer interaction and personality!

But oh let me tell you, I’m not a picky eater. I’ve eaten a lot of good food In the south. But tonight I found something that TOPPED everything I’ve had in Gulf Shores.. and that’s the Boudin balls. The flavor of these will grab you by your shoulders and shake you. I’ve never been down to Louisiana but I’d like to think these gave me a prefect glimpse of what to expect.

It’s the perfect dive for a kid-less couple seeking a great environment for dinner. This place will be on the TOP of our list for our yearly visit to the Gulf.“

“The fish tacos did not have any taste, that was disappointing. However, the worst part was the one hour wait for our order to be served. There was a large crowd, but in my opinion, not that large to cause such a delay. Our server, CJ, did his best to overcome the long wait.“

“We went for a late breakfast after googling for a breakfast place. I'm so glad we did. Our omelets (western and Philly cheese steak) were delicious and the coffee was heavenly. Definitely stopping there on our way home, because their coffee and banana French toast are calling to me.“

“Tables weren’t clean. Crumbs, sweat rings from previous customers drinks and crumbs in chairs. The discounts and gravy, sausage and pancakes were very good. I like my hash browns crispy and always ask for them that way. They weren’t even close.“

“nice staff.. great food.. plenty of seating activities there to do I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the baked 1/2 chicken is excellent!! comes with zucchini and roasted red potatoes! a little pricey but I got it 2 different times it's worth every penny!! they cook the chicken and pork in a smoker and the flavor is really good!! my husband had the Greek salad loved it!! “If you are looking for some absolutely delicious, smack yo momma, soul food..give this place a try - you won’t regret it! We had the fried chicken, hamburger steak, Mac n cheese, green beans, mash potatoes, gravy, and cornbread, yall, this is hands down THE best food! I would’ve ordered some collard greens but I didn’t have any more room in my belly. I’m going to be dreaming about eating here again. The owners are wonderful, we enjoyed speaking to them as well. “I had a great experience at the Culver's in Foley! I wanted their strawberry fields salad for lunch, but when I went to the drive through, a huge power outage in the area temporarily closed the restaurant. The manager came to my car to tell me this; I jokingly said I don't get my favorite salad today, I guess. The manager offered to make the salad without chicken, which was fine with me, and at no charge. This was such a nice gesture and was truly appreciated! I hope Culver's sees my review and appreciates the great customer service by this young man.“

“Friends and I went for the Sunday morning brunch. The seating area has a very nice view. The brunch had an omelette made to order area with many add ins. There was a table with eggs, french toast sticks, fruit, bacon and sausage. There was a very nice variety Giant cinnamon rolls were delicious. The wait staff was attentive.“

Well I can assure you whoever that was is no longer here working . Because everybody seems family like and super friendly and accommodating to all who come to the texaco summit . “Shout out to Autumn, Bryce and Kai. Just finished a hard day at work, I missed lunch, needed some comfort food and all three ended up being the bright spot in my day. I got my bacon sandwich and some scambled eggs to take home and unwind from a challenging day at my job as a maintenance man during the busy peak season on Orange Beach (insert long sigh here). I thank them more than you know. Good conversation as I waited even as they were attentive to the other customers they served along with their other job duties. I notice those things.
