“The food was fantastic! I had been looking for a Chinese restaurant that served fresh, tasty food for some time. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Sizzling Rice Soup, which is a favourite of mine. The soup was lovely, and the fresh vegetables were vibrant with just the right amount of crunch, and the chicken and shrimp were tender and tasty. The only thing missing was the sizzling rice, which, admittedly, was a bummer, but I cannot fault anything else about the dish. The roast pork fried rice also hit the spot. Heavenly.
I am looking forward to the next time I can try more of the menu.“

“It is the best Chinese food in the Trussville area period. There is a lot of bad Chinese food in the state north of Montgomery. It took a lot of trial and error to finally find LQ Asian. Hot and fresh. Ready 15 minutes from calling the order in. All the other places need to step their game up.“

“Starting, been to this place 4 times now since it opened in February of this year.
The food is great and the portion sizes are very generous, but the prices are too low. Lol.
Two entries, noodles and large soup cost about $15! Not bad at all. My only gripe would be that the food is too salty, especially the sweet & sour soup. This is coming from a guy who salts all his food, but it’s too much even for me. I’ll give them 7.5 out of 10 dumplings, would give them 8.8 if they cut 40% less salt in their food.“

“I really love Chen Express, especially for their delivery. We're extremely wary of most other delivery places or delivery services, but never have any issue whatsoever with Chen. The food is packaged extremely well and it always arrives hot. The actual delivery is always extremely polite, respectful, and surprisingly fast. It's just a fantastic restaurant to have as an option for good quick service. Thank you!“

“We love our local Chinese takeout haunt. It’s not the fanciest Chinese around but they are super fast with your order and the portions are generous. Can’t beat it when we don’t feel like cooking and we can pick it up down the road in 10 minutes. The food is an excellent value for what you get. My husband and I particularly love the eggplant. I love their cheese wontons. Hot and sour soup is amazing. Their combos are great because you get rice and an eggroll or soup. The sauces are pretty generic and some dishes have been a little meh, and their fried rice isn’t really fried rice (more like yellow rice lacking any veggies or egg bits) but for the price you can’t beat it. If you want something spicy, make sure you ask because just because you see something is spicy on the menu doesn’t mean it will be. I ordered Hunan chicken and it looked nothing like Hunan, no chilies. The eggplant which wasn’t supposed to be spicy was spicier than my chicken. Pretty sure they just make up their own version of sauces for some dishes. I do like that they serve broccoli, carrot, onion etc with almost every stir fry. Next time I will ask for chilis if I want it spicy.“

“Food was good. Food prepared very fast. My order was $45 I ask for a free soda they said they don’t give away anything for free. I’m visiting from Atlanta most places give a free soda if over a certain dollar amount.“

“I haven't been here in a while but I'm glad I went back. My wife and I ordered the Happy Family and Sesame chicken and one egg roll. Happy Family was loaded with seafood and plenty of veggies with it. Sesame chicken was fried crispy and was great. Both dinners and egg roll with water to drink a little over $31.00 and we almost filled up a small go plate with leftovers. Will be going back soon!“

“They seem to want to be a “to go” restaurant. The table service is not great. They make it clear, this should’ve been a carryout order. They don’t offer any ice or even glasses for your drink. They give you a 16oz bottle -that’s it.
They used to be a great restaurant. Now, not so much. Bring back the previous owner.“

“Great Chinese food venue at Leeds shopping outlet. I always order the general Tao’s chicken and recently tried their orange chicken which is also delicious. I like that the chicken is fried enough to be crispy but not made mushy by the sauce.“

“My family and I got wings and fried rice. I got plain wings. We also got buffalo wings, beef fried rice and shrimp fried rice and 2 egg rolls! The wings were not my favorite I’ll be honest they tasted way too much like chicken not sure if it wasn’t fresh that day or what. But the fried rice was out of this world amazing!!! Very flavorful and tasty! I would definitely go back to get fried rice again!! You much try!!“

“Take out for a general tso and it was just how I like it! Other places in Gardendale/Fultondale don't have the same flavor of general tso I've been looking for but China One does. Will be back for sure! Portions were large as well.“

“I've only been here maybe once or twice but the food is always fresh, if you have a wait a few minutes it's because they are actually cooking the food. Today they were giving out samples of 2 new drinks.
Maria is amazing, I don't know if she is the manager or one of the owners but her customer service is 1000% she is amazing. Maria goes above and beyond every time and is incredibly nice“

“I think some of yall are ly8n like hell qith the things you say. NOBODY that works there is gonna sit and watch you eat. If you seen a roach.. guess what most all food places have them. Its also not nasty. I bet half of yall complaining got bugs at your nasty house and cant cook. Tryin to get something for free. ALSO YOU CANT CARRY OUT THE FOOD OFF OF YOUR PLATE!!!! “I usually eat here sir by a pleasant waitress, but this last time we were seated in the area the female waitress was snappy mean grouc😖hy, raise a voice🔥🌋 not friendly at all, and when I mentioned it to the male hostess, seated us, he reply, you can sit wherever you want to then.. after seated in the next area the waitress barely wanted to talk to us, we had to call her over to our table each time. 🌆 I then lost my appetite!!We will not be going back!!🔥🌋🌋!!!!👎👎👎👎👎😵💫😈“
