“I had the MVP breakfast there this morning, and it was phenomenal. Food was hot and fresh and came out fast Mariah slayed on the grill. I was greeted with a smile by my server Starr. She went above and beyond for me. The establishment was very clean and friendly staff. This is my new go to breakfast spot. Way to go Huddle House.“

If I’m being honest I really didn’t have high hopes or expectations for them. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The pricing and menu options were absolutely amazing considering that they specialize in hotdogs. They also had burgers which looked out of this world. I got the 2 spicy Pete’s and another one I don’t remember the name but it had EVERYTHING on there and let me tell you. These were the best hotdogs I’ve ever had in my life. Not over or under cooked. Fresh. Ingredients were quality and flavorful. If you’re just passing through or live in the area and don’t feel like cooking or want hotdogs, I whole heartedly suggest coming to sneaky Pete’s. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. If I’m ever in the area again, this’ll be the first place I stop.“

“On Saturday, April 5, 2025, I had my retirement dinner at Culinary Dropout. There were twenty people in my party. Our server Natalie was a "little dynamo". Even the restaurant was crowded due prom season, she got all drink orders promptly. The starters orders arrived soon after. Then the entrees. She was there for drink refills and other requests. She handled the situation with grace, kindness and professionalism. Her and the other wait staff were truly exceptional. The bartenders got drink orders promptly and made to protection. “I am new to the area and saw this place today. They had slices of pound cake and mini pies. They might have had other items too but I only noticed these, they captured my attention right away. I purchased a mini sweet potato pie, key lime, and a pecan. I also purchased a slice of lemon pound cake. My 12 year old announced she didn’t like pound cake or pie… A couple of hours later I tried the sweet potato pie. The 12 year old asked for a taste and begged to have the rest. Tonight we equally ate the lemon pound cake. Both superb. We haven’t tried the other 2 minis yet, but have no doubt they will be equally delicious. This place had the most delicious sweet potato pie and even better than my own (really good) lemon pound cake. Prices are reasonable and they have fantastic employees.“

“This was our 32nd anniversary dinner. The restaurant made us feel welcome and special. Our starter was a gift of the house and we chose the charcuterie board. The board was well balanced and was a great start on the meal. With the starter we also had two signature cocktails for the fall menu. We chose the Infused Apple Bourbon drink and the Cranberry Sage Gin drink. These provided a great start to the meal. For our entrees we chose the Filet and the Kona-seasoned Lamb. Both were accompanied by broccolini and mashed potatoes. The meat was prepared perfectly and was well seasoned and sauced. The sides were well prepared as well. We finished the meal with a Belgian Chocolate Mousse. All in all an excellent meal.“

“We have been dining at Longhorn for many years. Tonight our experience wasn't as smooth as expected. My server, Isaac was great. Very personable, knowledgeable and tended to us perfectly. First off my husband ordered a drink from the bar. He waited at least 15 minutes to get it. We watched the bartender waiting on several tables for the entire time we were watching completely ignoring our servers request to fill his drink orders. We were not the only ones waiting. Shame on her. Then upon questioning our server about the bartenders here we learned something I found very frustrating and unfair. You see, most of the bar tenders that work at this location behave the same as this lady did tonight. Does not get in any hurry to fill drink orders from the servers. We were informed that Longhorns servers, by the restaurants policy, takes 15% of every servers earned tips to share with the bartender and the host. Mind you, not every table orders drinks from the bar and yet the servers have to pay them. These bartenders do not earn that. Especially when they take their sweet slow time with making drink orders for the servers. I also learned they only pay host $5 an hour. How stingy of the restaurant to do that to their employees. They need to pay hosts minimum wage and stop expecting the servers to pay them out of their hard earned money. After all, servers are only paid about $2.13 hr from the restaurant. Bartenders should not get any pay from the servers pockets unless the servers want to do so. But these servers have no choice. They are forced to pay.
My next complaint was the ribeye my husband ordered as medium. It came to the table well done. So thin a piece, very tough to cut through. Isaac took it back to the kitchen with our request to cook it medium rare in hopes it would make it back out at least medium. It turned out to be correctly cooked at medium rare this time, but still a thin tough steak. Not worth $26.79.
Now that we know how Longhorn takes money from the servers to help them pay other staff we will no longer put tips on credit cards. We will be giving our tips in cash.“
