“Was visiting town for the Jesse Owens Annul Cross Country meet and this was a great place to refuel after the race. House salad with homemade ranch - Great, Popcorn Shrimp appetizer - plentiful and good, Ribeye - delicious and cooked exactly as requested with a little “moo,” hamburger steak - all gone. By time we decided to review the only pictures we could take were empty plates. Highly recommend if In the area. Good food and nice people.“

On August 27th 2025 This Brandi and Tracey duo somehow made this trip completely different than the last pleasant review. They simply took a 5 star rating and made it a 10. I'm not trying to sound cliche at all, but for the very few times I've came in, they remember me like a long time friend you haven't seen in years. There's service and to be serviced. While be serviced, though there was no wait, you wouldn't even acknowledge the wait due to such a genuine, comfortable, warm felt environment! “It's been awhile since I have been in Hartselle's Captain D's. I went in and ordered some to go plates. If the customer service I saw tonight is their norm then the staff should school our other fast food restaurants on how to run a business. The cashier was super friendly and helpful and the order filled promptly and correctly and the last thing I heard as I picked up my order was,"We appreciate you sir".“
