“My wife and I had an impromptu date night last night at Southwood. It had to be one of the top 5 meals I've ever had! Murder Point Oysters followed by the Tomato & Mozzarella salad, leading into the Scallops and Cobia topped with Jumbo Lump Crab for entrees. Mind-blowing flavors and expression in each dish with impeccable presentation, topped off with precision table service. I can't say enough good things about Southwood! ♥️😎”

“I'm so disappointed in my new favorite restaurant. Took my family there two Sundays ago for lunch after.church. This was my third visit and first disappointment. Not sure what's .going on. To me they were good because of the different food they offered.. They have eliminated several side items and only offered broccoli and rice which I can get anywhere! Noticed they weren't packed either for a Sunday. Hope whoever made the decision to drop these items and others will put them back before its too late.”

“I have visited Fresh Seafood Distributors many times for their fresh fish, but we ordered some boiled crawfish this weekend for the first time. It was some of the best tasting crawfish I've had in a long time. They were good sized and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend visiting these folks for your seafood and crawfish needs. They also have a great selection of spices and gumbo mixes.”

“This was my go to steakhouse. Not anymore. Got there and was told 15 minute wait ,due to not enough servers. This is at 1:30. Next the Ribeye was too salty and tough. Spent 90.00 dollars after tip. Very disappointed, won't be back.”

Margo was the server adn well let's just say we waited long times for things when there was no crowd. along with staff cleaning well before closing times. As this will not steer our routine of going there i am not pleased with the service that night at all.”

“We came for lunch today and shared the pick 5 lunch special. The service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. The sushi was excellent! The ingredients were exceptionally fresh and the rolls prepared very quickly. We get sushi only occasionally as a treat, but have tried a few places around town and what we received today was easily some of the best we’ve had! I also liked that the lunch special includes many of their chef special rolls. Most places don’t offer as many selections on their lunch specials so it was nice to have so many offerings. Perfect lunch!”

“This is the ABSOLUTE BEST Five Guys in all of lower Alabama and the West Florida Panhandle area. The fries are always crispy and delicious. They are limp and under cooked at most of the other stores (except the Pace, FL store). The burgers are always cooked completely, and not pink in the middle, like I sometimes get in Pensacola. But most importantly, the staff is always super friendly and keep the atmosphere welcoming and fun.”

The pictures tell you all you need to know!! That cashew chicken is fantastic, shrimp lo mein, pork fried rice, crab Rangoon, the fried dumplings..!!! Sooo good!!! I’m always happy when we order from China Chef because they just never disappoint! The food is delicious every single time.”

“Decent draft selection for the area, clean bathrooms, and plenty of pool tables. Live music most nights, and very friendly, knowledgeable bartenders. Only thing preventing me from leaving five stars is that the bar stools vs bar height is uncomfortable (I'm only 5'8"); the round booths needed to be reupholstered 10 years ago and the lights above them are rarely working.”

“This is my favorite place to stop by and grab a loaded tea. The staff are always so nice and always willing to go over what is in each of the teas. They will help you figure out what flavor you would like and aren’t trying to rush you. After trying a couple different flavors, I found that I love the Coastal Junkie the best, it is literally the bomb. I also love the fact that I can text them my order and it can be ready as soon as I get there! I highly recommend them! Also check out the goodies that they have that you can shop for while waiting for your tea!”

“I can't say the same about every location but This Jimmy John's is probably my favorite sandwich shop around. My favorite part is being able to ask the different employees what their favorite custom sandwiches is, which oftentimes they do have a favorite and getting to try them. I really think it would be cool if there was some kind of employee menu with their custom sandwiches on them. They are always very nice and do a great job, and I've almost never been disappointed with the sandwich.”

“We stopped in today after a meeting at Lakewood Country Club. It was excellent! They have the BEST gluten free bread. I was able to enjoy a Muffuletta for the first time in ages. Excellent selections and the prices were very reasonable. If you are in or near Fairhope you must stop in. We drooled over the baked good case but did not cave.”
