“The way that Milo's is set up now, you cannot go on the inside. Everyone goes through the drive-thru. The food don't seem as good as it used to be but it was not the worst. At the drive-thru they really don't give you a chance to finish your order before they try to rush you around to the side, I have to tell them to wait I have another order. When you first drive up they just asked you your order, they don't speak but I speak to them.“

“Cute little place if you are hungry for a juicy burger and fries, but a bit pricey and really small in case it is raining, or you want to dine in they have very limited seating inside. Staff was polite and efficient. Burger was juicy and a bit greasy on the outside but what's a burger without grease? I would stop in again if I was in the area at lunchtime, but the parking is a nightmare in this plaza to begin with and a nightmare to get in and out of so good luck with that situation but if you can get in and find a place to park try the burger and fries. Oh, it looks like they only have burgers, dogs and fries. You will spend $20 for a quick lunch but worth a try at least once.“

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

“Went to this restaurant on a Saturday the place was pretty busy but we were able to order and then sit at our table. The staff was very friendly and the service was great.we both ordered a k-dog which were excellent 👌🏾 and not normal menu items so we got lucky to catch them serving them today. The joyland burger deluxe was great as well, the patty was seasoned very well and had good flavor! I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone if you like burgers! “They are a small business food truck that demonstrates nothing but exemplary customer service. My husband went by while they were in Helena for their to die for peach crumble. They were out of the dessert but they offered to make half a pan for us and said they will have it ready the next day at their next location at Shelby Baptist. I went by to pick it up and not only did they have it ready but they brought it out to me at my car. They are such nice people and I’m very happy at the customer service they display. “This past Saturday, I treated myself to a me date a day dedicated entirely to myself. After indulging in a relaxing one-hour massage, I found myself absolutely starving. Wanting to try something new, I continued my exploration of Homewood’s restaurant scene and landed on The Battery. I met my aunt there for lunch, and as soon as we arrived, I knew we were in for a treat. The place was packed inside and out which is usually a great sign. After about a 15 minute wait, we were seated. The interior had a modern, inviting atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was incredibly kind, answered all of my questions, and I never once had to ask for a refill. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was impressively quick, and every dish arrived hot. Appetizers Buffalo Wings – The wings were well-sauced and smoked to perfection, with the meat falling off the bone effortlessly. However, the biggest letdown was the lack of seasoning. While the smoky flavor was great, the wings themselves needed more depth. 7.9/10 (With proper seasoning, this would easily be in the high 8s or even a 9). Queso & Chips – The chips were fresh, crunchy, and unseasoned but still did the job. The queso had potential, but it lacked the bold flavors needed to truly stand out. It wasn’t bad, but it could have been much better. 6/10 Entrées & Sides Wedge Salad – The salad itself was solid, but the bacon was a miss. It had an overpowering liquid smoke taste, leaving a strange aftertaste and smell. 7/10 Fries – These were outstanding hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. I also appreciated the variety of cuts and shapes. 8.5/10 Smash Burger – A well-executed smash burger with that signature crispy edge and juicy interior. However, the meat itself wasn’t seasoned, which held it back from being exceptional. 8/10 Final Thoughts Overall, The Battery was a great experience, and I’d happily return. The biggest downside was the lack of seasoning across multiple dishes. If they improved that, their food would easily score even higher. That said, I still highly recommend trying this place. Final Rating: 8/10 Service: 10/10 – Absolutely fantastic staff! Would I go back? Without a doubt.“

“Fantastic Five Guys at Stadium Trace in Hoover. This Five Guys is not a corporate location but a local franchise, so the prices are reasonable. Great burger and the fries are the best in Hoover. Come Fall, their outdoor seating area will be a great option for seating. (Even today it was comfortable).“

“We wanted a unique and local place. A hole in the wall if you will. The store front said this is it. When you walk in it doesn't look like a sit down restaurant, and there aren't many seats. Ms Dawson greets you from behind a wall and comes around to take your order. Plan to be patient as she cooks it fresh and is a solo operator. The burger was well worth the wait. Definitely give it a shot for lunch.. just don't be in a hurry.“

“I love this place! It has a warm environment and caring staff. It’s the best place in town to get a chicken salad. The chicken is seasoned well and very tender. The dressing appears to be made from scratch. They are also very generous with their portion sizes, I can often share. If you haven’t tried this place it’s worth checking out! “Leaving gym to go eat our prepped dinner when a delightful aroma caught us by surprise. Went to window shop, and could not resist trying something. Staff was friendly and Sam was awesome, throwing in extra sauces and fries I forgot to add.

Then we got the food: it legitimately looks like something out of a dolled up commercial, with a delightful taste to boot. We will 100% be eating here again and recommending friends, thank you Sam and chefs for giving us a great meal and experience!“

“I really like Milos and we eat at the Pelham store regularly. However yesterday was a disappointment. The tea was terrible, it taste soured, and I buy Milos tea at the grocery so I know how it should taste. When I returned it to the counter the employee stated others had complained about the taste, so why didn’t they make new tea? Also the burger with lettuce & tomato kept falling apart because the lettuce was a huge thick piece too large for the sandwich. The regular cheeseburger was thrown together also. I’m not sure what was going on yesterday but it was not a good experience.“
