I was disappointed; then, someone (perhaps, he was one of the owners) gave me, I guess, a partial serving ( I think it was what was left) of the sweet potatoes. Nice crust. They offer various levels of heat. I chose medium (3rd on the scale). It was a little too hot for my liking. I will drop down to mild next time. I got the half bird so I could try both the dark and white meat. Both were good, but the dark meat wins out. The white was just a touch dry in spots (juicy overall). For sides, I got the potato salad and the black eyed pea salad. Both were good, but the potato salad wins. I wish they had hot black peas, mash potatoes with gravy, and rice as gravy as options, but they do not. They did have mac and cheese and fries as options. My friend got those and gave them high marks. Another added benefit is this chicken reheats great in an air fryer. The staff were friendly. We were there around 7:30 at night. It was a good crowd (mainly college aged) there. It is a nice area right near St. Vincent's Women and Children's Hospital.“

Our server, Parker, was flawless and so much fun (request him!). Every dish was perfectly cooked, refined and full of flavor (smoked salmon, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, rainbow trout, swordfish with andouille, ribeye with truffle fondue). “This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! “We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

“Last weekend (2 weeks ago) I finally got to try Biscuit Belly: Hoover. We had been out running earns and shopping and realized we had not eaten breakfast and it was close to lunch and we just so happen to be close by and this place has been on my list anyways. This place is definitely what it says it is. Biscuits everywhere man. If you're a biscuit lover then this is definitely for you! I ordered a Not Chicken and Waffle (I think that's what it was called) and basically it was a split biscuit cooked like French toast and those that know me know French toast is my favorite. I have a tier list it's French toast, waffles, then pancakes for me. Also those that know me know I don't care much for biscuits but these were good especially with the syrup on top. Now the chicken itself was nicely seasoned and I could tell they cooked it fresh. I could also tell they don't marinate their chicken which is fine but it's easily noticeable when chicken isn't marinated because you can taste it's pure white chicken breast. As I said before it was good and crunchy and still seasoned well. I liked it. I give the meal an 8/10. The service was good as well it was very crowded but the way the service was you couldn't tell. Everyone was so nice and very patient. The food came out fairly quickly as well. I was impressed and happy. 10/10 on services. Would I come back here? Absolutely I have a few more things I'd like to try! If you are ever in the Hoover area or live in the Hoover area check this place out!“
