“The food is really good. My favorite is the burrito.I informed them that when a beef burrito and 3 chicken burito were ordered, the beef burrito was marked "chicken" or "pollo"and the chicken burrito was marked "beef" or "asada" The person who wanted the beef had to end up eating chicken because someone who thought they were getting chicken ended up eating the beef burrito. There was no way to know what they were until it was eaten.I suggested they cut the burrito in half so that you can see that you got what you ordered, or, place a tooth pick in one to distinguish one from the other.Apparently, they do not care because they do not cut the burrito in half so that you can see what is inside the burrito. The next time I went, I asked that the burrito be cut in half. Apparently, they know nothing about "presentation" and "flare" in serving food. They unwrapped the burrito, cut through the middle, re-wrapped the burrito and enclosed it in the carry out!! Frustrating to say the least!!! Still no way to see what is in the burrito! All they have to do is: After cooking and wrapping the burrito, take "kitchen" shears, cut through the center wrapped burrito. Cut through paper AND burrito. Then slightly turn the burrito as it is placed in the take out container or on the serving plate! That makes for an excellent "presentation" of a nicely wrapped jumbo burrito!!You can eat half, share the other half, or take the other half home for a second meal because it is a jumbo burrito! You do not want to pick up a jumbo burrito! As you eat a jumbo burrito stuff start to fall out. But eating half of a jumbo burrito is nice and doable. Some people just do not get the concept of presentation of food.“
“If you've lived for any time at all in Mexico, you will recognize the feeling when you walk in here. You will then always come here. It may take a little while to establish yourself as a regular. But if you really miss the food you had in Tepotzotlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Cuautitlán de Romero Rubio and Texcoco, you will smile, use your grievous Spanglish as best you can and tip well. This is as authentic as you can get without a passport.“
“One of the best if not the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Baldwin county! Be mindful they’re not a fast food stop or a tex mex restaurant they prepare food/plates when ordered so it may take a bit longer than expected. Great family owned business with some great food. Tacos & quesabirillias are amazing and so are the gorditas! 10/10. My family loves this place and go very often! They also offer take out(:“
“It’s hard to find decent Honduran food anywhere other than the country itself. This place surprised me. The service and atmosphere were good. If I happen to be in the area again I will stop by. I recommend the baleadas and the tajadas con carne molida! I felt like I was in San Pedro Sula again!“
“Dog friendly if they are on leash, and you are on the patio. Service was really good. The food is excellent, for what I had. They were out of fried ice cream, so we will have to go back. They do not have my meal listed below, but it had steak, chips, cheese, and eggs. All with a red sauce.“
“Everything was really good. Our server, Noah, was an absolute delight. He got our order right, and we did without nothing. Very attentive. The food was wonderful and was prepared quickly. Great place to grab lunch if you need to get in and out quickly. The specials are very cost effective as well.“
“This mom & pop Mexican restaurant is far off the beaten path and I have passed it many times. Today, which was taco Tuesday, I satisfied my curiosity and stopped in for some tacos, and I'm glad I did. This is the REAL deal place for authentic Mexican food. I have traveled and spent a lot of time all across Mexico and this is the stuff from fine dining to street vendors. My assorted tacos came complete with cucumber, radish, lime, grilled onions and a real deal grilled jalapeno that isn't for the faint of heart. Those warmed tortillas, well spices meats, onions and cilantro, and their full line of Jarrito drinks bring you straight to Mexico. There's paper signs on the wall with handwritten menu items, also seen at lots of places in Mexico. There's burritos, quesadillas, corditas, enchiladas, tortas, quesabirrias, and more that all look good. Concinita Ceci translated means Kitchenette Ceci, so I guess I should attempt using my slanglish and try to meet Ceci :-) Bottom line: It's not fancy but it's good authentic Mexican, I recommend it!“
“My family and I have eaten here several times and we have always left very full and pleased! The street-style tacos are fantastic complete with a toppings bar to add your own cilantro, vegetables, and salsas. They also offer unique Central American dishes that are hard to find in this area and excellent!“
“I visited just after lunchtime. The place wasn't busy, only about 10- 12 patrons.I had the tamale plate, with rice, and refried beans, a large bowl of tortillas, and a mild dish of mild sauce. The sauce was good, but coming from NM, it was not spicy as I would have liked. The meal was ample for a take-home second dinner.Service was good, served warm, and pretty fast.Overall food and customer service was very good. The restaurant is located right off McKenzie, with fair parking. The atmosphere was nice with Spanish decorations and Spanish music, which I liked.Parking: Plenty of parking.“
“Finally a good Mexican restaurant in Foley area. Shredded beef tacos were excellent. I had gotten an extra beef enchilada and it was way better than the other restaurants in the area. Finally we will not have to drive to Pensacola for texmex any longer.“
