“I have been visiting Orange Beach for years and this was my first visit to Cactus Cantina. I can get Mexican at home right? Well, the Shrimp and Grits were delicious! And very reasonably priced. I will be getting my Shrimp and Grits from Cactus Cantina from here on out. Also had a margarita and it was very good too.“
“I was nervous because of TexMex comments. Thankfully, this is NOT TexMex, which is usually overly spicy. This place has great flavor. Chicken flautas were best thing on the menu. Fajita nachos close second.Main drawback was that it was a bit pricey.“
“The fact that there are even bad reviews for chronic taco blows my mind!!! This place is absolutely amazingggg. I've been coming here for about 2 years and it never disappoints. Dawn, the manager has been working at chronic for years and is always so hardworking and kind. She is a very good manager! Abigale is literally SO sweet and is always so helpful to every new person that comes in! She makes you feel welcomed and does everything to make sure you have the best experience! I am so happy that we have a chronic taco in this area and I will ALWAYS continue to support and spread the word about how good the service and food is! I always get the steak burrito and it's so so good every single time. I would give chronic a 10/10 if I could!! Such a good staff and such good food!“
“Cactus Cantina is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was transported to a vibrant, authentic Mexican atmosphere complete with colorful decor, lively music, and the mouthwatering aromas of traditional cuisine. The food at Cactus Cantina is simply out of this world. I started with the freshly made guacamole, which was the perfect blend of creamy avocado, tangy lime, and aromatic spices. For my main course, I ordered the carnitas tacos, and each bite was an explosion of flavor. The pork was slow-roasted to perfection, resulting in meat that was incredibly tender and juicy. The homemade corn tortillas were soft and sturdy, providing the ideal vessel for the flavorful fillings. But the culinary experience didn't end there. For dessert, I indulged in the most heavenly churros I have ever tasted. They were perfectly crisp on the outside, yet light and airy on the inside, coated in a generous dusting of cinnamon-sugar. I would literally die to have even just a single crumb of those churros again. The service at Cactus Cantina was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. In short, Cactus Cantina is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The food is authentic, flavorful, and absolutely divine. I would give it 10 stars if I could, and I cannot wait to return and savor every bite once again.“

“We had a party of 50 for my grandsons baseball team and also his birthday. Will was so nice to work with us to insure the seating and great service. Julia was one of our servers and she did an excellent job on taking all orders in a timely matter. Our food was great. They also sang happy birthday with a sombrero on his head. Fun time and we will be back. Thanks again Will!!!“
“There's some pretty good food here. It's definitely more mainstream Mexican - nothing is particularly spicy, flavors tend to be more subtle and harmonious. Also, everything I've sampled so far has been freshly made, including the corn tortillas and all the salsas. The street tacos are pretty tasty as well, and I heartily recommend the cabeza (cows head), it's super tender and beefy. With excellent sweet tea and good service, it's a winner.Parking: It's a small lot, but there is additional parking along the side of the building.Kid-friendliness: It's a cozy place with no sound deadening. There is a small kids menu with a few non-Mexican options.Wheelchair accessibility: The interior of the restaurant is open and easy to navigate but entry can be difficult. The parking lot is sloped uphill towards the entrance.“
“The food here is delicious, the portions are plentiful, the prices are very fair and reasonable. The health score was a 98 when I was there; and that says alot considering the BK up the street which is a corporate owned and managed company has a constant 86 give or take a few points. I quit eating there because of this. Fiesta Taco in Gulf Shores is exactly what you are looking for when you crave authentic Mexican food.Parking: Next to NAPA auto parts.“
“Finally a good Mexican restaurant in Foley area. Shredded beef tacos were excellent. I had gotten an extra beef enchilada and it was way better than the other restaurants in the area. Finally we will not have to drive to Pensacola for texmex any longer.“
“I gave it 4 stars on the food because I ordered the Mexican Garbage Nachos, and there was barely any meat in it. More chips than necessary. I ordered some blackened fish tacos to go, and they were soooooo good. So that made up for the first entree. Waiter was a cool guy and knew the menu like the back of his hand. And the view is hard to beat. Totally recommend to anyone.“
