I have a shellfish allergy so i was super curious to try the shrymp… I was not disappointed. Let’s face it it not real seafood but I was satisfied with the snap and texture of the plant based protein. I was nervous to try it because you never know when it comes to substitute shellfish but It was perfect. I called the restaurant before hand and they were so sweet and accommodating when it came to look up the ingredients just to double check. I will be a returning customer. Also i ordered through Uber so i can rate the atmosphere but i have a feel it is just as beautiful. 😘☺”

But since our first experience here, we always request to have Raven as our server. She is so friendly, attentive, fast, and positive! Raven makes our morning and she is definitely one of the best!”

“I would recommend, but I was very disappointed when I went today! Got there about 2:30, and waited for someone to help me. At 2:40, someone finally asked if I needed something, I needed a menu. Lady looked at the clock, the stove/oven is shut down , we close at 3:00!! So, I’m guessing the only thing I could have gotten was a coffee or something sweet! I felt shut down on the spot! Didn’t realize that a kitchen shuts off the stove/oven before they actually close!! Very disappointed at the treatment today!!”

Having gluten-free options was so extraordinary for the pizza and pasta! We ordered both!!! 2 pizzas (pepperoni & mushroom with caramelized onions) & Chicken Alfredo. The salads were so unique & beautifully plated. The bar options were also fabulous!! Having lived in Los Angeles for a long time and having great exposure to exceptional restaurants, we were certain to express our delight to our servers at having such delicious options today. We thought our favorite Italian restaurant in the state was in Birmingham, but being here changed our mind! Additionally, the pricing for our meal was excellent. “My two boys (7 & 2) and I stopped for dinner. Haleigh was our server AND our cook because she was the only one there! When we sat down, she was cooking another order but explained she would be with us just as soon as she was done. Once she delivered their food, she came and took our order and played/teased my 2 year old while doing so. She was so nice and sweet while taking our order and making our food (for 3 people mind you), and while making faces at my toddler while she was cooking. He was having a ball and making faces back to her. Most people would be in an awful mood having to do it all by themselves but Haleigh did it with a smile and a cheerful attitude! She helped us from having a toddler hangry meltdown while doing it all. Woman 10000% deserves a raise!!”

The coffee was fresh, and they kept checking if I needed a refill, which I appreciated. The place had a relaxed vibe without feeling too busy or rushed. My order took a little longer than I expected, but it was hot and tasted freshly made, so I didn't mind much. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other breakfast options next time. Bless her she is normally there more than anyone should be ( due to short staffing) now I have 2 children ages 3 and 1, and no matter how busy always tries to give them a warm welcome. They love her lol. Bless her I know shes tired. Food is always good and we don't even have to tell her, the wife and I are creatures of habits, but it still amazes me how she remembers so many peoples orders by memory. I d I believe people like her need a shout out, she practically lives there lol. With covid and being so short staffed, shes been there. I think everyone who has worked during all of this deserves praises. Mrs. Tina definitely deserves 5 stars, and the restaurant has gotten so much cleaner and the food in my opinion has gotten tastier!!!!! cant go wrong with those all stars!!!!!!”

“Today was my first time visiting JJ’s Treats. I purchased a dozen chocolate chip cookies, a dozen peanut butter cookies and some chocolate turtles. All I can say is “WOW”! They were the best cookies I’ve ever had- specifically the chocolate chip ones! They were very moist and flavorful. I shared all of the goodies with my team at work and they were all impressed. It’s obvious that Dr. Janis’ treats are made with love. I had no idea that she also makes homecooked meals right next door! That is on my list of foods to try. I highly recommend this place and wouldn’t change a single thing about my experience today. Dr. Janis is also very nice and welcoming. JJ’s Treats is a must try if you are in the Huntsville area!”

“My family and I have visited Ol Heidelberg since the early 80s. We've celebrated weddings, graduations and holidays there. It's a tradition. Last evening I was able to have dinner with a friend who was a first time visitor. I must say I was saddened by the whole experience. The food was still very good but the overall atmosphere and service were not what it used to be. The place my family loved had a tiny bud vase with a fresh flower and a candle on the table. The bread came out in a basket wrapped in a warm cloth napkin to keep it warm. It was tiny small touches like those that made dining there special. Last evening the guy sitting people bald faced lied to us. We were sitting on the bench three feet behind him. He had not called our name like he said. Once we were finally seated at a booth, our food took well over an hour to arrive. The whole experience from start to finish just wasn't the same. They've lost that extra something that had kept our family coming back for years. While the food was fine when we finally got it, everything else was kinda sad.”

The staff were not only enjoying their jobs but each other as part of a team. I spoke with the Manger Ravyn, and she was just as welcoming and friendly and pleased i had such a great experience. Few restaurants focus on service anymore, not even all Jason's Deli's but this location 1395 Enterprise Way, Suite E in Huntsville AL, they were the exception. Great sandwich and salad bar so much so i went back the next day for the salad bar again. It was such a pleasure to give my hard earned money for this meal and this exceptional experience. Everyone was doing their job and helping others if needed. I was so amazed to watch the staff being a team. It was a welcoming change. This location needs to be recognized and considered as a training location as it was that good. Thank you for such a welcome, friendly and remember-able dining experience.”
