“Our son lives in the area and every time we visit, we stop by for a milkshake, usually the chocolate horsejackery. Their milkshakes are consistently good and I like the fact they’re willing to split them into two separate cups so my husband and I can share one. The servers are usually friendly and the entire area is a fun environment.”

“My family and I ate here for the first time tonight. We battled 5:30pm, Friday, Madison traffic to get to them, and I can confidently say we would 100% do it again! 10/10 recommend! The gentlemen working went above and beyond and are super polite! Family owned and operated, and we are here for it! Food is absolutely delicious. I don’t think there is a bad choice on the menu. Best $40 we’ve spent for a family of 3 in a very long time!! Quality food and we all left stuffed.”

I ordered the V Mac sandwich, egg rolls, chili cheese fries, and a slice of chocolate cake, and every single bite was delicious. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, a great starter to share (though you’ll want them all to yourself!). The chili cheese fries were next-level – hearty, savory, and seriously addictive. And to top it all off, the chocolate cake was rich, moist, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. “Been coming to this establishment for the last 2 or 3 years fairly consistently. I have to give a shout out to Tina, shes one of the servers there. Bless her she is normally there more than anyone should be ( due to short staffing) now I have 2 children ages 3 and 1, and no matter how busy always tries to give them a warm welcome. They love her lol. Bless her I know shes tired. Food is always good and we don't even have to tell her, the wife and I are creatures of habits, but it still amazes me how she remembers so many peoples orders by memory. I d I believe people like her need a shout out, she practically lives there lol. With covid and being so short staffed, shes been there. I think everyone who has worked during all of this deserves praises. Mrs. Tina definitely deserves 5 stars, and the restaurant has gotten so much cleaner and the food in my opinion has gotten tastier!!!!! cant go wrong with those all stars!!!!!!”

“This was my first time eating in a Whataburger, since I was 5 years old, when we stopped at one in Oklahoma on our way to visit family in California. Now, that was back in 1973, and I remember that my brother, and I hated it! Where we lived back then it was either McDonald's, or Henry's Hamburgers in our house, and Timmy, and I just weren't digging the mustard that they put on our burgers at the Whataburger in Oklahoma. So now we fast forward 50 years, and I thought that I'd give it another try. My wife was game, and so we came in a little bit after the lunch rush. The restaurant was very clean and everyone seemed friendly. Everything we ordered was fresh and plentiful. I'll say that it's not too bad, compared to my childhood experience. But, it would still not be one of my top choices on a place to eat. For me it would be more of a place I'd go to when I got tired of my regular rotation of places to eat, and wanted to substitute an alternative choice just to shake things up a little.”

“Always clean. Always good. Tonight was extra special. If you have ever seen “ratatouille” when Anton Ego has a flashback from his mother’s cooking, I had that same experience. I come from Korean descent. My grandma used to make all sorts of Korean dishes. I had the Seoul to Sea dish and it made me think back to my grandmothers cooking. She had passed away a few years ago and had been missing her something fierce. I am a hard person to please and this dish left me almost speechless; the only word I could say is WOW. Thank you for unlocking that wonderful memory.”

Again, the customer service along with the great food will be my reasons to return. Tonight, I brought my family along for their first time experience. They were thoroughly impressed and they aren’t easily impressed. So, I ordered the highly recommended chocolate chip cookies to go. I’m super excited to try them later. “Last night was my first time trying Big Ed’s. I have saw the place 100x. It wasn’t until a friend invited me that I went. We placed a pick up order. The staff were amazing, so kind, so generous and helpful. They even taste tested the Dr. Pepper for me after trying to get one at other places yesterday every other machine was slightly off and none were drinkable. We had a good laugh about the Dr. Pepper. The wings are amazing. I got the lemon pepper they are a dry rub which they do tell you and that was exactly what I was looking for. The portion size was large enough for more than 2 meals. This place definitely impressed me and I will be back. Great atmosphere, friendly staff , fresh and hot food . I can’t say enough about them ! I hope the workers from last night see this. You all truly made the experience for me.”

Many protein options as well as two sides and endless fresh rolls. We both ordered the 6 ounce steak with two sides - it was cooked perfectly and the meal was delicious. Tyler was our waiter and he was excellent. He was training a new employee and she was great too. they were both friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu.
