“All around experience was phenomenal! The name of the club was perfect, theme song for the night was "Issa Vibe". Reserved one of the birthday sections, which was beautiful. The whole club is nicely decorated, even the outdoor stage and seating area continued the nice laid back ambiance. The staff was friendly and accomadating, security was attentive and welcoming, Bando the DJ kept the vibe going reading the room well. Last but not least when the food truck opened up, we started dancing all over again when he brought the plates to wings and fries were on point.The review is a little long, but I wanted to express how much fun I had at such an awesome venue, we will definitely be back. “Stopped by The Electric in Avondale and was honestly impressed. Grabbed a pub sub and the white chicken chili and both were fantastic. “Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.

The bartender was very nice and the people eating were also very nice. We ate wings, fries, catfish nuggets and had some drinks in between visits to the back club“

“I walked from the hotel and dare I say that the walk was a little sketchy. If I had to guess, I’d say that I wasn’t in the most favorable area of Birmingham, but nevertheless I blended in because I was in a familiar environment. Initially, I thought that the food truck outside was the bar, but I was able to go inside the bar and watch the game until my food was ready. I ordered a double shot of Jameson and the price was a bit more than I was accustomed to paying, but needless to say I didn’t scoff at the price. “I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant after passing by it so many times while traveling through Downtown Homewood. Unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a letdown. That said, it wasn’t terrible by any means, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. A friend and I dined here together as most of my readers know, I often bring someone along for reviews to offer more than just my own perspective. Appetizer: We started with the Tallulah Wings, opting for the Sweet Heat Dry Rub with Alabama White BBQ sauce. The first surprise was that the wings arrived already coated in the sauce. In my opinion, when a sauce is meant as a dip, it’s best served on the side, not as a coating. Unfortunately, the wings themselves were quite underseasoned it reminded me of drinking a LaCroix, with just a faint whisper of the sweet heat flavor. That said, the little flavor I could taste had a nostalgic charm, reminiscent of Golden Flake potato chips and those are undeniably delicious. I just wish the wings had packed more of a punch. Entrée: Next, we tried the Social Stack, essentially their version of a McDonald's Big Mac. I have to say, it was significantly better than a Big Mac. The sauce was flavorful, the patties were fresh and well-seasoned, and everything came together beautifully. It’s a rich burger, but the crispy, seasoned fries helped balance that richness. The freshness and flavor made this burger a standout I’d absolutely order it again. If it weren’t for the disappointing wings, this meal would have earned a solid 4 out of 5 stars. As it stands, I’m giving it 3 out of 5. However, I do plan to return and explore more of their menu. I believe there’s potential here, and I’m hopeful my next visit will be a more satisfying experience.“

“The staff here are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met! I stopped by THE EDGE after work, hoping to find some late-night food. I ended up grabbing a bite at THE QUE*BICLE (seriously, their wings and mac and cheese are amazing!). While looking for a place to sit, I wandered into Corbeau Wine Bar and met their incredible team. They noticed I had my food and invited me to sit on their patio, which was warmer and way more comfortable than where I was before. They didn’t have to do that, but they went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. That’s when I met Kay, one of the waitresses, who took the time to tell me all about the drinks they offer and the idea behind the space. She was so warm and friendly, and it felt like she genuinely cared about creating a great experience. By the time I left, I wasn’t just full—I was reminded that there are still places where people go out of their way to show kindness and connect.
