“The service or the customer service was awful for my opinion, everything went bad to me , I just came today because I have a free reward to get5 chicken nuggets , the cashier Brittney needs more training, i told her that was free and the end of this I paid for and I talk to a supervisor I guess and she treat me as a mother when is upset so it was not a good visit this time , I was so happy and grateful for my reward but at the end was unpleasant“

“This past Saturday, I treated myself to a me date a day dedicated entirely to myself. After indulging in a relaxing one-hour massage, I found myself absolutely starving. Wanting to try something new, I continued my exploration of Homewood’s restaurant scene and landed on The Battery. I met my aunt there for lunch, and as soon as we arrived, I knew we were in for a treat. The place was packed inside and out which is usually a great sign. After about a 15 minute wait, we were seated. The interior had a modern, inviting atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was incredibly kind, answered all of my questions, and I never once had to ask for a refill. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was impressively quick, and every dish arrived hot. Appetizers Buffalo Wings – The wings were well-sauced and smoked to perfection, with the meat falling off the bone effortlessly. However, the biggest letdown was the lack of seasoning. While the smoky flavor was great, the wings themselves needed more depth. 7.9/10 (With proper seasoning, this would easily be in the high 8s or even a 9). Queso & Chips – The chips were fresh, crunchy, and unseasoned but still did the job. The queso had potential, but it lacked the bold flavors needed to truly stand out. It wasn’t bad, but it could have been much better. 6/10 Entrées & Sides Wedge Salad – The salad itself was solid, but the bacon was a miss. It had an overpowering liquid smoke taste, leaving a strange aftertaste and smell. 7/10 Fries – These were outstanding hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. I also appreciated the variety of cuts and shapes. 8.5/10 Smash Burger – A well-executed smash burger with that signature crispy edge and juicy interior. However, the meat itself wasn’t seasoned, which held it back from being exceptional. 8/10 Final Thoughts Overall, The Battery was a great experience, and I’d happily return. The biggest downside was the lack of seasoning across multiple dishes. If they improved that, their food would easily score even higher. That said, I still highly recommend trying this place. Final Rating: 8/10 Service: 10/10 – Absolutely fantastic staff! Would I go back? Without a doubt.“

“I went to the Dunwoody, Georgia location at lunchtime today (11/17/25). I let the cashier know that it was my 1st time trying Super Chix and he comped my frozen custard with oreo pieces! That act of kindness had me in tears as I was emotional about the bad news I received about my husband's cancer earlier in the day. Thank you for adding sunshine to my day! I will be back!“

“I come here like twice a week, super chill vibe, the employees are nice and even memorized my order once I became a regular(kale Caesar salad which is TOO good)😂 the ingredients are super fresh and I’ve never seen them run out of anything. Come here for some good salad and lighting (I do my homework here all the time)“

“My bestie and I visited here on our way to an event. I've been hooked ever since. I love the different healthy options available and that you can fully customize your experience. It would help to browse the menu before going so you don't hold up the line during busier times. I think in this day I opted for a veggie bowl. But I've also had the chicken grain and green bowl as well as the falafel and all were great. The pita chips are a must try! They are so addictive! I also love the free parking deck and the digital drive-through on those days when I just want to grab and go.“

“Staying at the UAB Hilton and went down for breakfast. Synetric greeted me and asked me how I was doing, told me about the breakfast buffet (which was a nice quality and selection of eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, grits, oatmeal & pastries) and was able to get me my coffee to go. The other staff working was also pleasant.“

“Absolutely fantastic! The food is so delicious. The service was good. The ambiance from the candles is delightful. It's possibly the best rustic pizza I have ever had (& that's saying a lot. I know food at 6 foot 250lbs.) The garlic bread is also fantastic. The photo shows the cheese version, but we had both, and either way, it is great!
We will definitely come here any time we are in town.

“I cannot say enough good things about Baha Burger. I have celiac disease and cannot have dairy either, and not once have I gotten sick from the Patchwork farms location. The entire staff is well-trained about cross-contact, super careful, and truly understand dietary restrictions. My favorite thing to order is the baby turkey burger, gluten free bun, no blue cheese, and either fruit, sweet potato fries, or both! Thank you Baha Burger for being a safe place for celiacs to eat! I've been here numerous times and will continue to be a regular.“

“UAB location is awesome. I have visited this located several times and always clean, friendly, and food always good. I normally do online order and my order always ready when I arrive. I ate there with my mother once and it was nice and pleasant. We sat outside on the patio.“

“I’ve been eating at cava all over the birmingham are but the cava on 280 has become my favorite. I was welcomed in by the Cava employee by the name of Wade. Wade was the most friendliest person I’ve met in any Cava restaurant. He was very polite and helpful. It was like a tangy-lemon-limey-feta-cheesy- dab of SHEER HEAVEN!!!! And the fresh Collard Greens? Oh. My. lord. THE BEST I have EVER had…EVER!!!! Better than my Grannie’s, god rest her soul. “Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.

The bartender was very nice and the people eating were also very nice. We ate wings, fries, catfish nuggets and had some drinks in between visits to the back club“

“First time to try this place. I can't believe the wide array of food they serve. It comes to you hot, fresh and delicious!!! I had gotten a Groupon that I'm very thankful for!!! We spent less money here than we would at Taco Bell or McDonald's! If I lived over by it, I would literally eat here every day!!! I got fried catfish, the Cajun ranch fries and a small chicken salad. Good Lord I've NEVER had a salad THAT good before!!! And I'm 54 yo!! It has a ton of stuff in it!!! My husband got the same Cajun fried and a gyro that was amazing as well!!! I completely forgot to take pictures. But trust me, it's worth it! I can't believe they weren't more busy at 5 pm on a Saturday. We were the only ones dining in. But a few people came in for to go orders.“

“Edgar's Bakery is a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The amazing people that work at this location make you feel like you're at home when you walk in the restaurant. “Had the California Cobb with chipotle chicken, and my wife had the same with grilled chicken. Requested spring mix instead of arugula (not a fan of the spicy bite), but our salads came out with arugula anyway. Looks like the staff missed the order notes and just saw “California Cobb.” When we brought it up, the team replaced our salads with no hesitation and delivered them to our table with sincere apologies. Great service recovery! That said, the corrected salads were noticeably smaller and seemed rushed—maybe frustration in the kitchen? Still, they tasted fantastic. My daughter’s brownie was absolutely decadent—melt-in-your-mouth good. Overall, a good experience and we’ll definitely eat here again. Would be 5 stars if the replacement salads had matched the care of the originals. Highly recommend.“

I did check it before I left, and it appeared fine. But whoever made it took it upon them selves to make the pizza with no sauce or chili either. I know what the sauce looks like. That pizza was dry AF. Super disappointing when you pay almost $20 for one pizza with a tip.“

“Just moved to Alabama from Florida. What a wonderful find this Cheesecake Factory was. As much as we love Southern Cooking here in Alabama, there is just so much Fried Food and BBQ a person can eat. “The food is usually good here. The breadsticks were on the well-done side and they were hard, but the waiter replaced them immediately when asked. The waiter that we had would not clear the table as we were finishing our dishes so we had a lot of glasses and plates on our table that took up unnecessary space.

We sat in a booth and we asked that they turned the lighting up, but they said they weren’t able to so I would recommend that they increase the lightbulb voltage over the booths. The lighting is too dark and needs to be improved“

“Typical Chic Fil A, The food is top tier but this location needs some serious updates, lots of disrepair in the dining area. The staff was on par but not the best we’ve ever had.

Parking: Tight parking lot that’s not the easiest to get to from the main roads.
