It's always a good idea to make reservations ahead of time as the restaurant doesn't seat a large number of guests. The service was excellent and the food even better. I am partial to pizza there like I am partial to bagels in NYC.My cousin asked me to meet her and her daughter at Pizza Grace. We ordered the garlic bread; I want to focus here.First, it is a thick piece of a kind of light and airy sourdough. It is a simple concept with an elevated approach. It isn't fancy, just garlic bread with marinara. But, boy is it tasty. Honestly, I would just eat this next time with a salad.We ordered a kale citrus style salad, a white pizza, and a cheese pizza.The salad was very refreshing and light. It had a couple of slices of orange on it and a beautiful arrangement. Both the pizzas were very tasty. If you like white pizzas, you will like this one. Their dough is has that nice crispy outside with a bit of a chewy texture, perfect for pizza.The setting is very relaxing. We sat outside in a corridor that houses other shops, just off the street enough for a quieter meal.“

The food took about 10 minutes or so to come which is not bad since the food is fresh. Lastly, the ambiance was pretty cool inside. “Slice Pizza is a very short drive from my apartment, yet today was unfortunately my first time trying it. I dined in today and enjoyed the delicious 12-inch Hot Mama pizza in their outdoor dining area during a beautiful 60-degree day. The hot mama consists of pepper, salami, hot honey drizzle, and various other ingredients. I was hesitant to order this considering the odd ingredients (I'm more of a pepperoni and nothing else type person) but today I felt adventurous. “My roommates and I went to this Tortugas location and really enjoyed our experience. When we arrived, we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. There were only a few other patrons in the restaurant when we got there, so we were seated immediately. We ordered a 10" Chicago style pizza with pepperoni. We also got a slice of the thin crust pizza with pepperoni as well. It came out in less time than advertised and tasted delicious. After learning about the history of Tortugas, we understood why there were so many Chicago Cubs decorations around the restaurant. Overall a great experience.“

The balance of flavors, the crispy crust, and the generous topping of pepperoni made for a delightful meal that exceeded my expectations. What stood out to me, apart from the delicious pizza, was the exceptional service. The ladies at All-Original Pizza were super friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. “One of our favorite pizza places in the Birmingham area! Great gastropub ambience, with an extensive patio, and the staff is always super friendly. Can get very busy over the weekend for dinner, but we've never had a problem with orders taking too long to be ready.Ordered a Hot Mama pizza, pomegranate margarita, and s'mores calzone. All were excellent with high quality ingredients, and the Hot Mama had some serious spice! Calzone was a but uneven in filling and could have used more marshmallow, but still a great gooey treat.“

When i arrived the cashier was very kind and boxed up my food upon arrival so it stayed as warm as possible, which I appreciated. Located in the Moss Rock area of Hoover it was a little out of the way for us, but was recommended by a friend.At first glance, from the outside, I thought that this might be a nice place. Upon entrance I was shuttled down a narrow hallway lined with drinks and wines to a cashiers desk. We placed our order and served ourselves bottled drinks, from a cooler behind us.The prices for a 10 oz pie were $18 so I was hoping for a great find in wood fired pizza for our area.We then went around the corner to a very table cluttered dining area. After noticing that if you asked for water that it was “self serve” from a high school style water fountain in plastic cups. No wait staff roomed the area, only the cashier and the two cooks.When the pizza arrived it was fresh out of the wood fired oven. Nice char in spots but the bottom was still a little under cooked. I ordered the classic pepperoni but had to search to find said toppings. Scarce and unevenly distributed.Then came the bite; the tip of my slice was soggy and limp. No crunch. The bone was nice and crisp with good flavor. The red tomato sauce was bland at best, no spices, I ended up adding salt to my slice to help the flavor. Cheese was thin but nice flavor and pull.I looked for Parmesan, but had to go to the water fountain to find the powdered cheese shaker. (No fresh Parmesan available)Nothing was on the tables but a beer bucket with plastic utensils and off brand napkins.For what was told to me was a true Italian pizzeria I was disappointed. Pizza wasn’t bad but could have been so much better with somespices and flavor. And charging these prices I would expect some wait staff and fountain drinks. “So, getting ready to open up an antique booth on Crestwood in Birmingham so went looking for a great restaurant. Well, we found it! The Filling Station is a def winner, with burgers to die for, great wings, amazing pizza and Stromboli and calzones along with a variety af starters and entrees! Brandi, our bartender did a great job with a bar full of customers. My burger was cooked just right and the peppers were grilled and made the sandwich amazing. My wife raved about the wings also! With seating inside and a covered outside seating area, multiple tv's to watch the games and with servers well trained I would highly recommend trying the Filling Station out! Well done!“

There is honestly not much to complain about here I just kinda with the sausage crumbles had more flavor maybe better quality not sure if they make those in house or store bought already made but man was this pizza soooooo freaking good and hot! “This past Saturday me and my friends had the pleasure of trying Vocelli Pizza in Greystone! Originally we had no plans to come here. We called one pizza place to make reservations and there website wouldn't allow us and they wouldn't answer the phone. We even left messages and they never called back. We went to that place in person to be told a 2 hour wait so we passed. Called 2 more places and both were 2 hour waits. Last on the list was Vocelli. Guy on the phone goes nobody is in here so you guys can come right in. I said cool 9 people are on the way.We get there place is empty. For some that's a red flag for others we may have just found a hidden gem. My one issue we all noticed was these guys were very aware we were on our way and every table was dirty and had not been wiped down and we had to wipe them down ourselves. Anyways we get ready to order and I asked the guy about this place and he tells me that they are mostly carry out and not really a dine in place, with me thinking that well this place should be spotless but hey we here.It's 9 of us and only 3 of them in the kitchen working so we were all very patient waiting on our food we all just bombarded them with. Our orders consisted of wings, cheese bread, multiple types of pizza, and cinnamon rolls.The pizza was phenomenal like for delivery pizza this was up there and could hang with the best of them. Dough was fresh and ingredients in general tasted fresh. This was really really good and when I talked to everybody there with me we could all agree this pizza gets a solid 8.2/10!Wings tasted like Domino's wings not bad but not great either. They were okay. 5/10Cheese bread was really good really cheesy and seemed to have garlic butter on it. Would get again! 7.9/10The cinnamon rolls were amazing! Fresh baked and covered in their delicious icing!
