“I meet clients at coffee shops all over the Birmingham metro, but I don't like coffee. I can usually find something else to drink, but the non-coffee drinks are almost always overpriced and bland. That's definitely not the case at Buck Creek Coffee. Their smoothies are delicious, and I appreciate that they allow me to create my own combinations of flavors. During the cold months, their hot chocolate is also top-notch. One of the greatest benefits is how friendly they are to other local businesses. The owners are constantly going out of their way to help the businesses that frequent their shop in any way they can, and I've had several potential clients reach out because the DeVitos recommended me. My only negative is that I wish they were open later in the day.“

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

If you're not sure what to get, the bartenders are happy to let you sample and try to find what you like. Local fun like bingo, trivia, and local music are added bonuses. Ivy League Brew let us decorate so early in advance and set up the way we wanted to. And Momo’s Cajun Eatz- the food was incredible!! The bar was packed, as it was Feb 8th, 2022 - the day #2 Auburn Basketball lost to Arkansas 76-80 in an OT thriller. Auburn fans welcomed us with open arms, and even paid for our drinks. The atmosphere was ELECTRIC while they streamed the game on the back wall of the bar. In that moment, we were die hard War Eagle. One of the toughest losses I've ever experienced. Recommend this bar to anyone.“
