“Not going to lie, I’m usually a Starbucks girly and I’ve never been able to find anything at yellowhammer that I actually like (don’t come for me lol) but today I was passing by, so I gave it another chance and Shelby (at the bank location— cottage hill/schillinger) was so so sweet and helped me find something that I actually LOVVE! “Had a great experience this morning at the bank location. I am not a big coffee drinker, so wasn’t too sure what to order. Matthew was so friendly, helpful, and just really seemed to enjoy his job. He even made sure I liked my drink before I walked away from the counter. I got my toddler a strawberry banana smoothie and a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant… he inhaled both. I got a sugar free coconut/sugar free salted caramel iced coffee that was great; not too sweet, not too bitter. We utilized the outdoor seating area, which was gated, so it was great to let my toddler “be a toddler,” without disturbing others. The only thing that would have made it better would be canopies or shade over the outdoor seating area. We will be back!“

“Great little place for coffee and quick breakfast! The bacon, egg, Gouda bagel its great! Recommend, also the nutella late, butter beer latte iced and even the avocado toast! I had mine with egg, and tomato. We also got pumpkin loaf bread and coffee cake for dessert! Everything was great!“

“The tea is good, but particularly expensive compared to other places. I was not acknowledged at all and there was only one register open, which I was not told until at least ten minutes after I got there. I wasn't sure because there was no one at either register, they were standing behind the counter chatting.“

“Least not this one. placed my order, was 10 minutes past pick up time they never even seen the order until i got there. I had to wait, then they said could not do my special request. so I was told they could not make my drink with no ice. I have very sensitive teeth and ice makes them hurt. Not to mention paid over six dollars for three small sips of coffee. No thank you.“

“We stopped there today to try out the food - they might get tired of seeing us! We were so impressed with their biscuits, they are made with real butter and are SO good. For a great start to your day, brunch with friends, or a first date, this place is the bomb!“

“There frozen coffee hits the spot! There are so many endless flavor combinations to try but personally cinnamon toast crunch and the fruity pebble ones bring out the inner child! “I enjoyed a fish and grits breakfast this morning! Everything was really good. I came back for dinner and was told they had closed for the day at like 4:30, I was a bit sad because Google shows they stay open until 7 on Mondays. The guy informed me they only do that on the weekends. So my only recommendation is that they increase the hours for those who don’t get off work until later in the evening so they too can enjoy the great food here.“

“I love the staff of the Dodges store on schillinger road. They are always very helpful.
Why on Sunday can just one of the 5 TVs in the store have the Saints Game on ?
Does the owner not like the thousands of folks from New Orleans that now live in Mobile ?
When I have asked that just ONE of the TV's be out on the saints game I've been told the staff is not allowed to change the channel.
Can the person who does have the authority consider the demographics of the store customers ?
The Washington game was on today and I don't think anyone in this part of the country cares . The other TVs just seemed to have on a random channel.
Maybe at least the store manager should have enough autonomy to make such a small decision?
I know they are very capable people.

“I'm extremely cheap and I do not go to these places but coming out of the hospital with my wife they were extremely friendly and it was a pleasant experience for everything but my wallet🤑... but keep in mind I'm the guy that just buys bulk coffee and makes my own dirty water coffee at home.“

“Let me start off this review by shouting out Jwanza! She runs her crew like the Navy and is the best to her customers. Though I had a bit of a wait for my coffee she made sure it was made just right and that I knew I wasn't forgotten about.

The food is always good here, but I mostly just stop by to get coffee before work. The coffee is usually pretty fresh and for the iced coffee it's even better. The atmosphere is like any generic McDonald's, but it was fairly clean which was nice.

All in all, besides the longish wait (which was made up for by Jawanza's kindness), I would always reccomend this McDonald's for a quick bite in Mobile!
