“It's a great little community Cafe. The staff are friendly as are the people who frequent there. The prices are reasonable for amount of food you are given. The food has always been good to the taste buds. Never had a bad experience there. Expect to pay $5-$15 for coffee and breakfast plates. Also expect to leave completely full and satisfied by the Food and fellowship with other happy patrons.“
“I recommend trying their Lighthouse chips and Almond Joy cake. Both were exceptionally delicious. Actually everything we tried was delicious. The lady who was our server was friendly and our food came out in a timely manner. If you are ever in the area definitely give this wonderful place a try.“
“I go to the 178 Club about every 3 to 4 months. I have never had a bad evening with them. They have typically good service, reasonable prices and excellent food! And, I find that the restaurant is usually fairly quiet, and nicely laid out. And after my last visit of many, I ended up going next door and bowling for the first time in many years! I had grown sons and nephews with me, and we had a blast! The whole evening was fantastic!“
“I’ve eaten at so many restaurants ( haven’t we all? ) and have enjoyed some $$$$ restaurants as money would allow.. but the atmosphere, service ( and of course most importantly ) the taste and quality of the food here is impeccable. I will drive 6 hours to eat here alone. The room was cozy, the walking path was memorable for me and my son and the white river was beautiful. Truly happy experience all around.“
“Perfect family fishing weekend. Gaston’s handled everything. Hire fishing guides through Gaston’s to avoid any unprofessional independent characters. The accommodations were great and the restaurant was excellent. Do bring in your own alcohol as the price for a 6 pack of beer at the lodge is $15.00. That seems excessive given the cost of booking a fishing trip in the first place.“

“Great food. Acceptable prices. Service was on point. I was with my crew (6 including myself) and our bill was under $100. Food portions weren't too big or too small. Food may have taken a couple extra minutes than somewhere else, but you could tell it was because everything was cook to order and fresh. If I HAD to pick a negative maybe the fries? I prefer mine with some seasoning. Otherwise, perfect place!“
