The service is quick, prices are great, and the food is so flavorful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! We got a whole taco plate for free by spending $15. “Followers of my reviews are well aware that I’m on a lifelong (and very important) quest to find THE best chimichanga on planet earth. There are many places that attempt to serve up chimis, but only a few have mastered the craft.

Cafe Zamora hits hard with a classic chimi plate, beautifully assembled, complete with rice and beans, healthy scoops of guacamole and sour cream, and a pinch of diced tomatoes for some beautiful color. The tortilla was fried until perfectly golden brown crispy, and it stayed crispy until the last bite.

On the universal 13 point scale of chimichanga deliciousness, Cafe Zamora’s chimichanga scored a very strong 12.

Perfection might not be attainable, but this is dang close. Whether or not an absolute 13 exists in the universe is not the question. It’s a question of whether a chimichanga is worth feasting upon, and in this case, the answer is absolutely.“

“Thisbplace has been here a long time. I always liked their food, and they have .50 tacos. I think its for their steamed tacos. I've only been disappointed like once or twice in my whole time eating and coming here. I put a 3star for the atmosphere because it does get pretty warm and sticky during the summer months but other than that there's a pretty good number of seats and it's pretty quiet. They people are very nice 👍“

“Family-owned gem serving authentic Michoacán-style tacos! Clean restaurant with friendly service, though a bit hard to find (corner of strip mall with no building sign).
Had carnitas and barbacoa tacos - generous meat portions, delicious tortillas, and excellent salsa selection. The pickled jalapeños were perfectly salty. These are honestly the best tacos I've had in Phoenix! The ribs looked amazing too - definitely coming back to try other meats. Truly authentic flavors that transport you to Michoacán.

“I usually come every Tuesday and Thursday for chilaquiles for breakfast! It's been fantastic giving this place a chance. They're authentic chilaquiles, the portion is just right, and the price is great! I've tried them at Old Pueblo, and they literally don't compare to Mariachi's. We've had the same girl in charge of the drive-thru a couple of times. Her service is unprofessional, and she's rude. But the style and flavor of their dishes are delicious.“

“First time here, we are coming from Surprise. The food taste was great, I ordered 4 tacos and a torta de pierna. My wife ate the 3 tacos, cabeza???, pastor, milanesa, birria. The cabeza taco had lengua in it, I would not ordered again, the pastor came with pieces of pineapple, it was good, the milanesa was really good, but the birria that was really good, great taste. The torta was pork pierna, it was really good, great taste and the bread was really good. The salsa bar (toppings) was dirty, it was no fresh toppings it looks like it needed some attention. The service was also good. Overall, I can’t wait until the open the one in Surprise. I will be coming in for sure.“

“I just tried this place tonight and I was impressed. Not only was the service great the food was amazing and you really get a lot of food. I got the Birria ramen burrito which was so good and my boyfriend got the Birria grilled cheese and carne asada burrito which he loved also. If you have Instagram you should check their story for locations/times because you definitely want to try them! I will continue to come here. Also they are actually family owned and operated and I love that even more!“

“I love these guys in general. I moved to a different state and literally craved them. I've eaten at a lot of different locations and different variants of the burtos. This location specifically is my all time favorites. Always good, no matter what I get or when I go. the employees are so nice and patient when you ask questions. Definitely recommend!!“
