“Went in to check out and was surprised to see a Philly Steak & Cheese hero on the menu. There is no place within 10 miles of this location that make's a good Philly hero. Been here two separate times and both times the Philly hero was excellent. Finally .................. a great Philly Steak and Cheese hero in my neighborhood!”

I’d recommend Brunch in Cave Creek to anyone looking for a great bite to eat in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. 5*”

“Friends recommended that we try Z’s, and they were right! Friendly and attentive staff and a nice atmosphere. We had some wine and three appetizers (vegetable rolls, potstickers, and calamari) and all three were fresh and delicious. We also had a side of Z’s sauce and it was one of the best hot sauces I’ve ever had!

They have a nice wine list at multiple price points too.

This is now going to be on our regular rotation of restaurants in Cave Creek, can’t wait to go back!”

“I first stumbled across this coffee at the Wholefoods Market. Truth be told, it is really hard to get GOOD coffee. You never really know how sub par it is until you travel internationally and taste some of the coffee that is available around the world. Of course, you pay more and you never get free seconds, but if you are a true coffee lover, you are willing to search and search for that first sip that draws a deep ahhhh from your lips. ROC did just that when I tried their Cowboy line. My husband prefers a lighter roast and is settled on their Cowgirl roast. Seems appropriate, doesn't it:) They are a local roaster located a not too distant miles away from Tucson in Cave Creek. We found it hard to find their coffee beans at times in retail shops in town so we order directly from their website. It is promptly and conveniently delivered to us in two to three business days. And they offer free shipping if you spend a certain amount, as well as a subscription plan that provides discounts. We are happy with our selections but will probably try out some of their other roasts eventually. If you are passionate about coffee and always looking for that perfect cup, I urge you to try them out. You never know what coffee experience you may be missing out on. To those of us who pursue this adventure we find ourselves on as coffee lovers!”

“This review is long overdue, but the experience has honestly stuck with me enough that I felt it was worth sharing. This was shortly after the restaurant reopened following their three-week closure.

First, I want to be clear that I am still giving five stars because this restaurant is incredible. We love the food and have always enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, one employee made our last experience so uncomfortable that I have actually avoided coming back since then.

The restaurant was extremely busy, which should be a great thing! However, it seemed like this employee was incredibly frustrated by how busy it was, and that frustration came through in nearly every interaction I witnessed. She was short, snarky, and at times outright belittling toward customers. She almost seemed to discourage people from staying by emphasizing how long the wait would be rather than welcoming them in.

One interaction in particular really caught me off guard. Someone asked where the owners had been and she explained they had been in Thailand for three weeks. The customer jokingly said something along the lines of, “That must have been a nice vacation for you,” and she snapped back, “I wasn’t on vacation. I am poverty level.” It was such an uncomfortable and inappropriate response to a completely innocent comment.

What bothered me most, though, was watching her interaction with an older couple. The gentleman was trying to decide which curry he wanted and she was visibly impatient with him. He asked if he could have chicken and vegetables together, and she abruptly told him no. I had literally just ordered chicken and vegetables myself and wanted to walk over and tell him that yes, it absolutely was an option. I felt terrible watching him be spoken to that way simply for asking a question.

There were several interactions like this throughout our visit, and it genuinely felt like anyone who crossed her path was at risk of being made to feel like an inconvenience.

The reason I finally decided to write this review is because we are planning to come back tonight to celebrate something, and I realized I was actually hoping this employee wouldn't be there. No employee should make customers feel nervous about returning to a restaurant they otherwise love.

I truly hope the owners see this for what it is intended to be: constructive feedback about an otherwise wonderful restaurant. This place deserves five stars, and I hope this employee receives some serious coaching on how customers are spoken to and treated, because one person's attitude should not overshadow everything this restaurant does so well.”

Thank YOU for making well balanced, nutritious smoothies with protein and no sugar options. Always consistent. Always fast. Never messed up an order.

Seriously next to my husband, tropical smoothie cafe has been the most reliable consistent thing I can count on. I would only be surviving on saltines and apple sauce packs without you guys.”

“I ordered a cake for an 80th birthday and asked for something sophisticated with flowers. It was perfect - all I had to do was add the candles. Flowers were unbelievable gorgeous and the cake was delicious! Birthday guests said best cake ever!!”

“I am so glad I found this food truck! Hands down some of the best food I’ve had! We ordered the chilaquiles con huevo 🍳 the best I’ve ever had! The rice was fluffy and delightful and I’ve never had refried beans that were so delicious 🫘 And we also ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito 🌯 amazing! And we were lucky enough to get the last 4 tamales 🫔 the green salsa is my new favorite and I’m definitely asking for extra next time and the red salsa is really good too with a nice heat to it! I’m excited to try more items on the menu! The ladies working were so sweet and nice! They didn’t have any guacamole but they were so kind and made me a fresh side of guac 🥑 💯 ⭐️ 🔥 🌮 looking forward to going back!!!”

“I’ve been going to this Starbucks nearly everyday for five years. Everyone that works here is friendly, kind, and genuinely cares about you and your order. This location is also one of the busier ones in town and even when it is really busy, they take the time to treat you well and get your order right every single time. Your day will start off well even before you start enjoying your beverage simply by chatting with the baristas here.”

Barro’s on Cave Creek Rd is very supportive of local school groups like our high school band, and always willing to host a restaurant night to help us out. (Fast turn on getting the turnout numbers and check too) We absolutely love our local Barro’s Pizza! And yes, of course the pizza is delicious. Win-win for everyone, and scrumptious pizza. 🍕🍕❤️❤️”
