“We saw Thanks A Brunch pop up on Uber Eats. Since they had some vegan options, we decided to try them out. We got 2 Vegan Breakfast Burritos and 1 Vegan Pesto Breakfast Sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Part of our party is not Vegan, and they loved the food as well. We will definitely order again and try out all of their options. So happy we found them.“

“I LOVE Uniq Burger!! These are the best plant based burgers that I have ever had! We drive 40 min to eat here and it's so worth it! The Southwest Burger is my favorite as well as the chick'n nuggets and french fries! The staff is extremely nice and they are always so welcoming. Their vanilla ice cream and cheesecake bites are so delicious and I still can't believe it's all vegan! Amazing!“

“The food was excellent, but I waited in the drive-thru for 10 minutes just to place my order and another almost 15 after ordering to get my food. Had people not pulled in right behind me, I would have gone somewhere else and not waited 25 minutes in a slammed drive-thru“

“The best thing about Chuckbox is that it's different than other burger places and it's the same as it's always been. The Chuckbox has been a fixture on the ASU campus for many years. I went there for burgers back in the early 90's and hadn't been back until just recently because now I have kids at ASU. The place hasn't changed much, it's probably been remodeled... maybe? What hasn't changed are the burgers, which are still cooked on a grate over hot embers, deep fried sides, and all the condiments you can pile on yourself. There's one line to order food, you wait to pick it up, and then you pay for it. And, as it has always been... it's CASH only. (There's an ATM in case you forget.)But the burgers, like the Big One or The Torpedo always taste great and so do the chicken sandwiches. You can also create your burger or sandwich from ingredients on the menu. While you're standing in line waiting, you can chat with the (usually) friendly staff or the people in line around you. Yes, there are times when the line gets long, like on game days and during events, but the line usually moves pretty quickly. There's nothing fancy about the place with wood tables, crate box and bench seats but that's okay. It's the ultimate in casual dining experience with the ASU students, the regulars, and the people like me that go there because they have kids at ASU. When everything is changing, it's nice to have a place like The Chuckbox.“

“This place is delicious! I ordered the Nana's Soul XL so I could try everything. The mac & cheese is creamy, the collard greens are tasty, the baked beans are full of flavor, and the fried chick'n (mushrooms) feels like a fried guilty pleasure. My least favorite were the wangz aka cauliflower. Not terrible by any means, but not as delicious as the rest of the items. My FAVORITE is the rib. It pulls apart like meat and has a wonderful smoky flavor. Who needs to eat animals when soul food can taste this great without them!! Updated from previous review on 2024-04-11“

“This is the kind of place you need to return to multiple times, because there's no way to try everything in one go! We had the spicy Mac and cheese burger, the Tony Montana, and the Hot Dog. The fries were so good, I kept eating them even though I was full. The drinks looked great but we didn't get to try them. I have to come back some day if not only to try the PB&J Burger!Parking: A parking corral is on the other side of the adjacent building. We went at an unexpected peak time (3pm on Sunday). We still managed to luck out and find a spot in the shade.“

“I am very pleased with this service every time I visit! I’ve been a coming here often for a few months now. I typically go through the drive thru, but the servers today, Daniel and Lily, came by a couple of times to check in on me and my family’s food, chatting it up with us and asking how the our day so far has been. Afterwards they were kind enough to offer taking our finished trays away :) I always get uplifting vibes from the workers, but today was outstanding seeing the extra mile and dedication. The hospitality exceeds most other restaurant expectations. I noticed them cleaning tables right after everyone was finished. We will for sure be dining in more often. The food is always fantastic, and trusted to be fresh. You can view the cooks from the food counter as well. This restaurant is a must-visit!“
“Best authentic Mexican food I have ever had. I can't name some of it but the meat tacos and appetizer with mushrooms and cheese was delicious. I also found out after we left Will Ferrell stopped in for a bite. Don't be fooled be the outside, and parking can be difficult, just be patient you will find a place. Salsa for chips was also very tasty.“

“I'm coming from out of state, and whenever I'm in an area that has In N Out, I always try and stop by. I arrived around 11 for an early lunch, and this location was already very busy. I was still quickly helped and received my order soon after. The location was nearly full, so I sat outside. Fast service, friendly staff, good food, can't ask for much more.“

“Found this as I was looking for Mexican food in this area since my family would already be nearby and so happy we stopped in. The food was delicious. We got quesabirria tacos with consommé, al pastor, carne asada and chicken tacos, and chips and salsa. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The chips were still warm. Would definitely recommend if you’re nearby and would come back if we are in the area again. The service was quick. The atmosphere is casual.“

“Not the best In n Out, but we still go often because it’s close. I really wish they would respect the “fries well done” request. I don’t really care if they’re busy. ALL In n Outs are busy, and all the other ones will cook the fries correctly. I think they should just be cooked longer in general, but they aren’t, so I special order. Nobody likes soggy fries. “

“Stopped by this place before going to the Giants stadium for spring training. They said it was a 20 minute wait but we were able to get seated sooner. It was busy when we went but the service was fast and we got served quickly. Their coffee is good and we got water as well. The food was really good too, lots of options to choose from and lots of drinks as well. Definitely a place to check out in Scottsdale.“

“A buddy and I stopped by to get some food after a night of drinks. The food was delish. I dared him to ask for one of the paper hats. He got up, asked for one, and the worker gladly provided one. My buddy put it on and we had a laugh. Over the course of our meal, he started to....change. He spoke very monotone, straight to the point. Be stared off in the distance, like he was looking through me. His posture became a perfect 90 degrees perpendicular to the floor. When it was time to head out, he refused to leave, saying this was his home now. I thought he was kidding and walked home without him. A few weeks later, I came back, and saw him working the fry station. His back was facing me, but I recognized him. I called out, but he did not react. I ordered my food and when my order was ready, I saw him turn around to hand off the fries. His face was completely covered in a thick layer of cheese, onions, and thousand Island dressing. He had become..... animal style.“

“We were so disappointed after not being able to get a burger at Bad Jimmy's in Phoenix and we were now all craving burgers lol. So, we stopped here on the way home. Like any other In & Out, it was busy as usual even after midnight. This location is open til 1:30am though. We were able to find a spot for all 6 of is even though it was packed. We got two cheeseburger meals. Everyone else ordered their own. I forgot to tell them to make mine with two whole grilled onions (try it) but it was still satisfying. In & Out never disappoints! We were all happy after that lol“

“Came in for breakfast and was greeted by very kind staff! I had a drip coffee and the doc scramble which was full of veggies and a delicious goat cheese. It all went together very well! the drip coffee wasn’t my favorite, I prefer a stronger more full bodied coffee, but realize this isn’t a coffee shop. I also generally prefer a softer scramble on my eggs but realize that’s not what most people would want.Overall it was very good and I’d be happy to come back again!“

“Great family-run neighborhood spot; I'm so happy it's here. Fried sides (like the zucchini and mushrooms) are a must, and the shakes are my favorite. The only thing that could be improved about the burgers is the bun. It's a classic burger joint that also has delicious unique items. It takes longer than you think it should (they don't start grilling until you've ordered), but I've always felt it's worth it.Parking: There's 4 or 5 spots, but you'll have to sit in the drive through line to exit anyway.“

“One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The tater tots inside were so crispy. Bacon was great. Eggs were fluffy. “A great find in DTPHX that has become our go-to spot when we're visiting. Not only are there plenty of great beers to choose from, but there are really great cocktails too - with the Paloma being a persona favorite. And the food is always delicious - plenty of options for any occasion, we've been for full meals and also just assorted bites to accompany our beers. Definitely worth a visit the next time you're in the area!“

“I've driven by hundreds of times. Today I decided to stop and try George's Gyros. I was in and out of the restaurant in under 5 minutes - more like 3 actually. Amazing fast service. When I got home 5 minutes later, my gyro was piping hot and my salad was cold. The gyro was STUFFED with tons of meat and was finger licking good. The salad had fresh sliced cucumbers, onions, halved cherry tomatoes and crisp fresh lettuce. The only singular regret was I wish I had asked for ranch dressing with the salad as apparently it comes standard with a raspberry vinaigrette. My fault though. All in all, 10 out of 10 rating. I will be back.“

“My first time here today. I showed up late, but my party had already ordered for me. Was promptly greeted, offered a free soup, asked if I wanted a drink other than my water, and the rest of the meal was excellen. The waitress was there for refills (and friendly), food came out on time, and was delicious. We were a party of five and we all ordered different things, sampling each other's food, and everything was great.I'm from Scottsdale and I live there now, and I think the food scene of Tempe and Mesa is just excellent compared to Scottsdale when it comes to good food in a laid-back atmosphere.Good food, attention to detail, and good service. Five stars, well done.“

“We found this restaurant through a deal on Local Flavor. The deal made it a great value! The food was hot, fresh, and tasty! And they have decent beer and cocktail menus. To eat, we had the Bad Mutha Clucka chicken sandwich, Little Mule cheeseburger, double patty, and the Love Boat with tater tots. The patio is pet friendly, and I love that they were having a dog event when we came! We sat ourselves, got our own soda refills, and cleared our own plates (though servers did this too). The service is team style, and everyone who helped us or brought food was friendly. I was never offered a second beer, though they were really busy I think from the doggy event. Overall, a great environment, and I will come back for take out.“

“Fun, clean, inviting sports bar with good food. Some fresh options. My burger was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and served with tasty and hot fries. Friendly attentive service. Staff all spoke to me. My server charming, funny, cute. Tiffany? Michelle? Nikki? Some basic white girl name. Besides pinning the pickle spear to the burger bun (weird) I say this could be my spot.“

“Overall pleasant experience. Definately a great place to hang out for a sporting event. Caught some of this year's NCAA tournament, and they had several games on at the same time. “This is my favorite restaurant in Tempe. It originated from the Buffalo where I'm from. They fly the Sahlen's hot dogs in from Buffalo daily. They serve Loganberry drinks and shakes. I'm in heaven and having flashbacks of my childhood every time I walk in. The music of all decades is always playing. Just a great time for fellow Buffalonians and neighborhood Tempe patrons alike. Copies of the Buffalo evening Newspaper are available to peruse as well. Can't go wrong with charcoal broiled anything. PS if you're not into hot dogs, they do have burgers, chicken, sausage, etc.“

“I'm used to the In-N-Out burgers in Nevada and California. This wasn't a horrible experience but I've had better. My bun was a little bit over toasted and almost crunchy. Never had one like that. And I was surprised since I was one of the first people in line that morning. And then when the girl handed me my shake the lid wasn't even on tight so when I went to sit it in my cup holder it's filled all over my car. I told her I needed extra napkins because of what happened and she just kind of looked at me like it wasn't her fault or something. She didn't even offer to give me a new one or apologize. Not quite the service I'm used to.“

“The manager and staff of Husswere wonderful. Everyone had big smiles and was very friendly. The servers were helpful resources when it came to learning about the company and really seemed to take pride in it.Huss was started by husband wife team Jeff and Leah over 10 years ago and has grown to one of the biggest breweries in Arizona. She also owned and operated Papago for many years prior, and they are currently rebranding more with the Papago name.I enjoyed all of the food tastings brought out.- chips and onion dip - could have eaten it all night- jalapeno poppers - a little spice but still yummy- black bean nachos - good lite non-meat option- midwestern fish and sidewinder chips - were better. than expected! The contrast with the tender walleye against the crisp cornmeal coating was nice, and thetartar sauce was a great addition with unique flavor- sausage and pretzel board - was my favorite. Rich flavors and great for sharingI would never call myself a beer drinker as I prefer ciders and sours, but I really enjoyed the tasting flight. I believe it was a good representation of the offerings, and each was unique. We tried: the Scottsdale Blonde, Papago Orange Blossom, Hopaloosa IPA, Rio Salado Mexican Lager, and Koffee Kolsch. I was surprised by actually enjoying the hopaloosa ipa, but the Scottsdale blonde was my favorite. It's so light and refreshing“

“My burger was thick and juicy, and the fries were thick cut with plenty of salt. Our waiters also made sure we had as many fries as we needed and refilled our glasses. Although, they could definitely put more seasoning IN their food and not make you want to put it on while you’re eating it. It’s cool that they have their own seasoning mix - but that’s just covering up the lack of flavor instead of solving it.“
