I chose the appropriate date night of Friday and my partner and I just moved into the neighborhood of Shaw Butte for my “intershcolastic travels” at Arizona State University (Forks UP), in my mission of becoming an Ethnic Studies college professor.
First of all the shakes are a MUST and you get two choices of flavor options in the same shake, choose wisely. I got the classic Strawberry shake and it tasted like fosters freeze did in California in the 80’s, sooooo good.
I ordered the 3/4 pound, yes, they have a 3/4 pound option which is more like a pound when it is all said and done. Mix that with an onion ring meal option and a 2 pack of corn dogs and it was a wrap.
Lucky and friendly staff you get an A plus plus from a future ethnic studies professor and world travelled foodie. Keep making great burgers you are in my top 10. HIGHly recommended!“

“If you’re looking for a nice meal that is celiacs friendly, this is the perfect place for that fancy meal! We enjoyed the gluten free green chili corn bread. It was on the spendy side, but it was well worth the dollars spent!“

We'll, SO glad we drive in to try it! Holy smokes did we gave a great lunch today! I had the brunch huevos & the hubs had the Cuban. Great portions (I couldn't finish my huevos) and both of us were saying we want to come back & try other items. The service was fine - I definitely felt like if you were from the neighborhood you were recognized & chatted up, but by no means was our server not perfectly fine... appropriately friendly & attentive, drinks & refills arrived promptly, she checked on us mid-meal, the bill came promptly. Zero complaints on service but hands in the air on that food! We'll definitely return to try out more of the menu!“

“We just came in with a large group and sat at a firepit. We were told to leave after a few min due to a large group reservation in an hour. We talked to the manager who told us we could stay for an hour until the reservation showed. Our table was ready after about 30 min. We were stuck in the back of a private area where 2 people didn’t receive their food until half way through and one person waited for a condiment for the entire meal. Another person got her drink order filled at the very end of the dinner. Before we left they seated 2 other tables extremely close to us when many many other tables were available! During a pandemic! Horrible experience from a usually very enjoyable place. Poorly poorly managed!“

“If you're a biscuits lover who also craves a classic Eggs Benedict twist, the Biscuits Benedict here is a total winner! They swap the English muffin for one of their signature fluffy, golden biscuits—split and topped with hardwood smoked bacon, two perfectly poached eggs, and a rich, velvety Hollandaise sauce that has just the right amount of tang without being overpowering.
The biscuit soaks up the sauce beautifully while staying tender and buttery—way better than the standard muffin version in my opinion. The bacon adds that smoky, crispy edge, and the eggs were cooked spot-on with runny yolks that mix everything together perfectly. I added country potatoes on the side (ask for them instead of hash browns if you want that seasoned, home-fry vibe), and it was the ideal hearty breakfast.
Portions are generous, the price is super reasonable (~$11), and the staff is always friendly and quick even during the busy Ahwatukee weekend rush. This spot nails that comforting, elevated diner feel. Biscuits Benedict is now my new favorite order here—definitely ordering it again next time!

My family just let them since the order was on its way. Well, the guy never arrived at our home. I called the restaurant explaining my issue- and they immediately said they’d replace the order. No need to reorder, and it would be ready in 15 minutes. They were incredibly professional and exceptionally fast. I cannot recommend Flower Child enough for this. THANK YOU! “If you haven't been to Keegan’s Grill on 32nd St and Camelback yet, you are missing out! The vibe here is exactly what you need—calm, comfortable, and totally relaxing.
First off, the service is top-tier. Mel behind the bar is fantastic—she’s super cute, can definitely sling some drinks, and her service was absolutely spot-on!
I went for the Son of MOAB burger, and let me tell you... DAMN. It was perfectly cooked and made exactly to order. Juicy, flavorful, and just hit the spot. As you can see from the pics, I paired it with a side salad that was actually killer (love the edamame and croutons!)—definitely not your average afterthought side dish.
I brought along my buddy (the proprietor of Don Jose Mexican Food on Thomas—so you know he knows good food), and he got the wings. He absolutely destroyed them!
Fair prices, excellent food, and great people. Do yourself a favor and stop by!“
