“Supposedly a high end steak house, the only thing high end are the prices and egos of their management team. Many better dining alternatives.“

“We had such a wonderful experience celebrating my Birthday at Eddie V’s.
In Scottsdale, AZ. Everyone was amazing—the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service. The lobster bisque was incredible, and the filet was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The manager even stopped by to check on us, which you don’t see at most restaurants.
But what really made the night unforgettable was our server, Caitlyn Callahan. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and wines, and helped us pick the perfect bottle. She made my birthday so special, and we’ll always remember that. Thanks to her, it made for such a wonderful night.“

“(translated from my OG non-English review) I visited this restaurant during Fall 2025 Restaurant Week. Just a reminder—Restaurant Week menus are usually designed for batch prep and fast service, so they don't always reflect a restaurant's true quality. Highlights & dishes: •butterfish roll with asparagus – Refreshing appetizer; light and bright with shallot sauce, microgreens, and yuzu. •Fried eggplant – Interesting texture like fries, but overall too greasy and spicy. •Sashimi – I'm no expert, but at least they used real wasabi. •Lamb chops – Overcooked, overseasoned, and the sauce masked the flavor. •Steak – Served medium by default without asking, which made me wonder if it was pre-cooked. Sauce was too overpowering. •Miso cod – The standout dish. Perfectly cooked and tender despite being pre-frozen; the caramelized miso glaze was excellent. •Chocolate lava cake with ice cream – Classic hot/cold contrast, always satisfying. •Sesame mascarpone (complimentary) – A creative surprise, combining tiramisu-style mascarpone with black sesame paste. Unique and delightful. Overall: Some dishes felt rushed or overseasoned, but the miso cod and desserts showed real skill and creativity.“

“I was here for my birthday 8/25/24 with my girlfriend. It was an absolute delight! I had the grass fed ribeye, medium well, and it was probably the best steak I've ever had. That's saying a lot for a guy living and being from Chicago. The ambience was top notched and the customer service was great! I can't wait until I'm back in AZ, I will definitely return here. This is a 5 star restaurant. -Marcus“

“Amazing location and service!
A great place to dine on those special occasions. The steaks are awesome and the sides are great. I got the crème fresh potatoes, which I think is made with 2 parts butter and 1 part potato - amazing! The mushrooms are great as well. Each side is enough for 2-3 people. The Thai shrimp appetizer was well seasoned with just the right amount of kick.
But everything is not perfect. The price is high at about $180 per person including a cocktail, entree, desert + tip and taxes. Also, I was a little (ok a lot) disappointed with the dessert. The only dessert I like to order at restaurants is bread putting, if available. So I have had a lot of different types of bread pudding and know what a good one should taste like. This was NOT it - too dry and a bit crusty for my likes.“

“Amazing paella, the most authentic in Phoenix. Fresh seafood, aromatic spices, and well burnt at the bottom of the pan as it shoild be (in the pan it is served). Tapas were tasty and flavorful. Service by Jaydi and Kate was outstanding. 2nd time here in 2 months. Will be back.“

“This steakhouse is a great value. This is our third time there. The steaks are always good plus the sauces for the steaks are delicious. Some of the side dishes are better than others. Would not recommend the sautéed mushrooms or the au gratin potatoes. But all the other sides are good. Will definitely be back again.“

“1st time at this location. Wait time was 10 minutes or less, food was served within 15, excellent timing . Ordered medium rare, was nearly well done on both steaks. No brown sugar for the sweet potato, no bacon bits on loaded potato. Server had somewhat of an attitude when we asked for the brown sugar. Never offered to refill drinks or bring more rolls . Will give this location another try, if not will go back to Mesa location. Yes I do always tell my friends Tx Roadhouse is the best place to go.“

“Had a truly excellent experience yesterday for brunch on the patio. It started with the hostess seating us which was very professional and courteous. Alexis was our server and she was amazing. Found out during the end of our meal that she had only been working there for two days. She was as knowledgeable and professional as she could be. She checked back numerous times to see if we needed anything. The brunch burger was amazing. So many flavors inside one bun! The Bloody Mary’s were spot on! We dont live here but if we did this would be a regular spot for brunch, business dinners or just a great date night! In todays world of lousy service and subpar service, this place is a shining star!!!!!“
