“Sue and I had lunch there today and we found it to be like a refreshing step back in time. It has an old-world classic cafe style along with counter stools. The food was very good and the portions were really good. I had a Club sandwich and Sue had Chicken Parmesan and they were both excellent. The service was friendly and prompt. And even though the place had a classic look it was very clean.“

“The food here is great. Fantastic burgers, good onion rings, I love the Totchos and the Loaded Tots. Their sevice is always good and they have lots of tv's to watch whatever games are playing.

Today I tried something different. I went with the Cheesesteak. It was fantasic. It was the best cheesesteak I have had in a long time.

My favorite burgers are the Phoenix and the Bleu.“

There was a great selection on the menu and we were very pleased with what we had chosen, the only problem that we had was the Dagwood did not say it had any sauce on it and when it arrived my husband's sandwich did and it also came as a cold sandwich he kind of thought that it was going to be a hot sandwich. Service was wonderful and the girl felt really bad for not telling us those things but it wasn't her fault.“

“Food was good. My daughter and best friend seemed to enjoy it. The cheesecake was ok. My friend only ate half of her's. Since I can't eat I cannot leave a review on food I personally tasted. The server that brought the food almost dropped one of the plates on the floor. He took it to get it cleaned up and left the one that was perfectly fine. My daughter was left sitting there for 5+ minutes while my friend got to eat. The whole table should be served at once, even if there is a problem like we had. He hadn't served my friend yet, so he could have taken her plate back with him as well. But I'm just nit-picking. My daughter had the Very Cherry Ghirardelli Cheesecake for dessert . She thought the chocolate was almost overpowering. My friend got the Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake for dessert and thought it was alright.“

My spouse didn't want to stop taking bites for a quick pick. Lol. I ordered the fried shrimp with fries and slaw. Shrimp is crispy, not over fried. “UPDATE.....It's only fair that I update my previous review. We decided to try the Friday nite fish fry and it was way better than we expected. The entire experience was several notches above our previous visit. The special was served in nice sized basket with the cod nestled on top of the fries. This kept the cod away from the grease that always gathers in the basket bottom and very crispy, the way I like it. The cod was large, crispy, and tasty. Generous portion. Fries were also crispy and well seasoned. Came with the traditional cole slaw and tartar sauce. Not a complaint, but wish the cole slaw portion was a little larger. The service was wonderful, friendly and just the right amount of attention. The restaurant is very clean and attractive, and the views of the golf course are far superior to looking out a window and watching traffic crawl along Bell Road. Still a bit too noisy, but not a major issue. They've clearly fixed lots of things since our last visit...KUDOS...we will be back.

PREVIOUS....Thought (hoped actually) that the fourth time would be the charm. Unfortunately, not. Quality of food and services is unpredictable. If you enjoy surprises this should be at the top of your to do list (assuming you don’t mind the words tasteless, undercooked, mystery, and strange being associated with your meal, and wait staff that define the word WAIT). But, to be fair and based on experience, you’ve got about a 40-50% chance of a moderately decent meal and pleasant overall experience. But I’m done gambling. I won’t comment on our last experience, as one of our other party members has already done a detailed review of each of the dinners that were ordered.“
