Highly recommended as a tribute to an immense , diverse history of Ismaili culture ! Eat healthy and tasty !! The crisp and juicy chicken samosas , delicately wrapped in filo pastry , fried cassava with divine dips , the bbq beef ribs and ginormous mince lamb kebabs were exceptional !! Highly recommended to try this local Burnaby treasure for the palate !!“

“My experience at Is That French was lovely. I took my parents here for their birthdays, and they were amazed by the thought and detail that went into both the food and wine selection. You could truly taste the quality of every ingredient and the care the chefs put into every plate. The wine was also outstanding. The one thing I would point out is that the space is unfortunately not very accessible for wheelchair users or older guests with mobility limitations. Thankfully, my dad uses a rollator, so he was able to manage the first few steps while we carried his rollator upstairs, but no one offered assistance. Our waitress was kind and did her best to accommodate him once we entered the restaurant, but it was clear that the space itself presents some accessibility challenges. My dad also mentioned that although there is an accessible bathroom, it didn't have grab bars. The seating was another challenge for my parents, as the chairs have no backs or cushions, which made it quite uncomfortable for them. Other than that, we had a really nice experience. Our server was incredible. I only wish that spaces like this could be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. I hope these are things the restaurant might consider improving in the future, because the food and experience truly deserve to be accessible to more people.“

After being seated, walk up to the counter and have your palate satisfied with one of the many bottles that are opened or have one opened for you based on your thirst and desire. “Rude server - My wife's first experience going out after giving birth. The male server peaked over her shoulder while she paid and made a rude comment when he saw she tipped 'only' 15% on a $20 cocktail. Completely ruined her night. Train your staff better.“

“We hosted our wedding weekend welcome party at Courtside and it was the greatest celebration imaginable! The food and drinks were fantastic, the decor and music perfectly to our vibe, but most of all the staff were joyful, accommodating and went above and beyond to curate the best party ever. If you love sports and good times you will LOVE this bar. Our friends and family were blown away but the incredible assortment of memorabilia and the high quality of everything inside. We definitely kept their bartenders busy but they worked with a smile on their faces and so much energy all night.“

I think there are better places for more bang for your buck but if you are looking for high quality meat, this place has a lot of variety. “First time dining at Kypriaki Restaurant, and we had such a great time! The food was delicious, and the lunch deal of the 1/2 Chicken Souvlaki was well-plated. The portion was spot on. “My boyfriend an I were looking for a place to dine while walking around Gastown when we came across Al Porto. We entered and where greeted by the waiter SIXTO. He made us feel very welcomed and took care of us. We had the lasagna which was excellent and the calamari which we found to be very chewy and tough. Not properly prepared. We ordered Molson Canadian beer and where told that we don’t carry it. SIXTO recommended we try The Kokanee beer which was comparable. We where offered the dessert menu but declined and had another Kokanee. Overall experience was good with exceptional service from our waiter. Will defiantly return to this restaurant next time we are visiting Vancouver.“
