“It was an amazing experience me and the boys came there for drinks and pool and had a excellent experience with the waitresses and the food and drinks were amazing One of the orders was messed up, But the manager mandy made sure it was fixed and went above and beyond, which is unheard of from my previous experiences at any other bar I would definitely recommend this Pub Definitely going to be returning“

“The Service is why I like The Newsroom. Look, nobodies ever going to get it right every single time. There’s no way you go to a restaurant and every time it’s excellent, not even with servers. We’re all human. We all have good days and bad days, it’s not about leaning in on someone because they had a bad day because you’re paying for the food or service, if you think that way, you’re not welcome. I go to the Newsroom every Monday night. No it hasn’t been perfect every single time but it’s never been something that I could hold against them. Until I start walking on water and performing miracles, I’m just going to stay in my lane. Now, the service there is top tier. Because of the service, I show up every Monday night and I sit back and enjoy great food and an Amazing bartender.“

“Very quiet local conveniently located near the river. Beautiful scenery just outside the door. There is outdoor seating and it is family friendly. We had a couple of appies and a couple of drinks. The drinks were cold and the food was hot. They had nice atmosphere and good service. We will visit again sometime.“

“What a great experience my husband and I had yesterday! Unfortunately, we didn’t take any pictures before we realized how good everything was—it was too late! 😂
I want to give a big round of applause to the chef for creating such a unique dining experience. It’s so refreshing to find something different from other restaurants, where so many dishes tend to feel the same with just average quality. This meal definitely stood out!
We had the 7oz CAB Sirloin with Pernod Peppercorn Sauce, Kennebec Fries & Kanaka Salad and the Seafood Tagliatelle, and both dishes exceeded our expectations.
The portions were generous, steak was cooked beautifully, and the Pernod peppercorn sauce (what a great addition!) was absolutely incredible! The Kanaka salad was a wonderful surprise—the raspberry and poppy seed vinaigrette was fresh, unique, and full of flavor. (I will try to recreate it at home -so much I love it!!) The fries were perfectly cooked, crispy, and served in a generous portion.
The Seafood Tagliatelle was another standout. We didn’t expect such a large serving with plenty of pasta and seafood, and the sauce was rich, delicious, and perfectly balanced.
Combined with the friendly, attentive staff, the entire experience was outstanding. Every bite was enjoyable, with unique flavors and excellent quality. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Four of us ate lunch here. The server was friendly and helpful, and we were seated quickly. We chose one main course each, which arrived quickly. The portions were large and tasty enough. Unfortunately there was also a metal wing nut on my plate, which I only noticed near the end of eating my meal. I pointed it out to the server and she removed the cost of my meal. She thinks it may have come from the device they use to cut their potatoes in to fries. Other than that, it was all good.“

“I pop in for happy hour randomly and today was world cup games. Had some great tacos, poutine & affordable drinks. Got surprised with a free drink because of the bell thing for soccer.. lol all in all it was a nice brunch. I'll keep coming back. Hospitality and service is always really good and I enjoy the food.“
