Restaurant is large - it has great ambience, the layout provides a personal and intimate feeling despite there being many tables. The food is superb, we plan on returning to make our way through the great menu. It is the best place we have eaten at in Canada for food, service and ambience. We highly recommend the seafood tower as a way to taste through some of the menu. The grilled octopus rivalled what we have eaten in Italy. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated.“

“5 stars. Been going there for years growing up and the probably have the best value platters out there for special events. Taste wise, they knock Fujiya out of the park and are able to add their spicy mayo or teriyaki sauce to any of their rolls. Super kind people running the place too :)“

I first asked to look at a menu and was given one right away. I don't claim to be the most sushi savvy person on Google. But I know what I like .
So always go with first choice or your intuition. My food was spectacular. And I love it when the chef gets a little artistic with the plate.

“Sakura is a great spot with a wide variety of takeout bento boxes. Perfect for a quick and tasty meal. The staff are super friendly and adorable, making the experience even better.

Besides bento boxes and don (rice bowls), they also have a fantastic selection of Japanese groceries, including different types of rice and a surprising find—mentaiko!!!!!

Sometimes I ask for half a scoop of teriyaki sauce since in can be taste too sweet and overpowering if I eat here often. Not as budget-friendly as McDonald's, but great value nonetheless if you prefer regularly having Japanese food over McD. “A nice place to enjoy your lunch break. I recently ate here and the quality of the materials are very good.

I ordered the ginger for only .69 cents and enjoyed it was the side wasabi which was also only 69 cents. Good deal for a light meal.

The containers are strong and well made and they give you high quality chopsticks at no additional charge. The chopsticks did not splinter and can be reused many times. This goes the same for the take away containers.

They provide your lunch with a compliment dining tray and thick absorbent napkins so that if you spill you don’t get it on your clothing.

Overall a good experience with inexpensive options and quality utensils and containers that can be reused many times!“
