“Ashley at the Coquitlam location was an incredible server tonight. She was genuine, patient with our kids deciding their food, attentive, kept our table clean and well maintained. She kept our drinks full and ensured she was on top of our food service. We are always impressed with Cactus but Ashley made our visit even better!
Kid-friendliness: Ashley was really great with our kids. She was patient and understanding while the kids decided what they wanted and if they liked the food they did order. She was friendly and listened to all their stories!“

Carissa and the rest of the Mintara team were so helpful, caring and truly went out of their way to make sure us and our guests had the best day. Throughout the planning process, Carissa was so responsive in answering any questions we had, but also making recommendations to ensure our day was smooth. Also the food was delicious - and we received so many compliments from our guests! 10/10 wedding venue :)“

“Best burger I have ever tasted! Pizzas as good as any top Italian pizzeria. Brunch was excellent. Basically every dish is elevated but prices are not. Great service beautiful restaurant Chefs pride is tasted in every detail on each plate.“

“I love the lounge! The adjoining restaurant offers a food service till 8pm… but if you don’t want to order from them you can simply order take out or delivery while you drink some beverages. Complimentary snacks at your request and great crew of regulars“

“We enjoyed a dinner tonight and as usual, the food was great! Especially charming was the professional, affable and engaging Manager, Trevor who presented us with our bill. His manner was sincere and didn't pose the trite questions normally posed by serving staff. A great asset to Earls!“

“November 20, 2024: This was my first time at this particular restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed. Compliments to the kitchen and serving staff for making it a lovely dine-in experience. Finally, kudos to Evie for giving me enough time to finally decide on the truffle butter steak and for checking in every so often to ensure that the food was to my liking or if I needed anything else :)“

“Hi, I came in today after quite some time and I came with my sister and it was during the later hours as it’s a bit more relaxed. I absolutely ? loved seeing Josiah again who had been extremely helpful in the past as I have anxiety at times and a positive interaction and listening authentically is so appreciated on a rough day. Anyway, Chef Amol made such an amazing veggie burger, which was made CLEAN, and perfectly balanced amount of ingredients and super FRESH. Our servers Vicky, and Anyi were calm, patient and gave us enough space as well. We had some interaction with Angela as well upon arrival and was very calm and friendly, overall there was cohesion between staff and the conversation was fun and also Josiah remembered us from a long time ago, that friendly n welcoming energy is becoming exceedingly rare in the restaurant industry and needed to write and update my review. Also please try the mash potatoes with creole ? it is absolutely BOMB as well as dirty fries tossed in honey. If you are ordering cheesecake ask to have it with caramel instead, definitely worth it :) had to use pics from my last visit as we were having too much fun to remember to take any pics! ✨✨✨ will come back again soon, but we appreciate the super amazing night! Restaurant staff are appreciated as it is a demanding line of work, and on those nights we don’t want to do dishes at home we can trust the quality and standard at Cactus✨?“

“We ordered the wedge salad with a side of grilled chicken. It was great. As the chicken was marinated in pineapple juice, and I am allergic to, they offered a couple of substitutions. I ended up with pieces and it worked perfectly. The restaurant was quiet when we left & took a while to get our bill. The table we were at beside the wall had a large picture on it. The picture was coveted with flies. When it was pointed out to the server who delivered our meals, she looked but no one offered to move us. Overall it was okay.“

“Very small sized restaurant, family owned and their wait times for take out ordering can be anywhere from 20mins to 1.5 hours. Popular spot and always delivers quality. I'm so happy I found this place. A new favourite for sure.
