“Had lunch for the very first time at Rob’s Lighthouse Eatery yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed my Caesar wrap that Rob prepared exactly to my specs. I could not believe that I was able to purchase two wraps for $24? What an incredible value, not to mention the true blue service by Rob and Heidi. I will be back with all my friends!”

“My wife and I love the Cow Bay view from booths, and overall restaurant ambiance, but it is the food that brings us back. Seafood Linguini, and the Katsu Bowl are favourites. In fact, we’ve just done take out orders of 2 Katsu Bowls, 2nd time in a week. This is a most excellent taste sensation, a combination of Thai (peanut & coconut) Japanese (Katsu crispy chicken) and creamy chow mein noodles with veggies. Try It! Yummy!”

“Had the luck of accidently finding this restaurant. What a find! we were just going in to have appies and cocktails but stayed for 2 hours having a full meal. All was great! We cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu. The service was quite good and food came out quicker than we expected as it was Friday and reasonably busy”

“Popped in tonight to grab a bite to eat (Solo) before I had to scoot to my shop for the last ladies night. I tried the Lamb Jalfrezi!! What a delight! Lamb was cooked to perfection, and super tender, the veggies (peppers) still had some crunch, beautifully blended spices, basmati also cooked perfectly... I would have LICKED my bowl...however, had some soft buttery Naan to wipe the bowl clean!! My waitress (I'm sorry, I didn't ask you name... you know who you are!!). Lovely, young lady, took the time to chat a bit... it was just what I needed!! Thank you!”

“⁣ Earlier in December I was in Duncan running errands and stumbled across Westfalian bakery cafe tucked away in its own little spot. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but inside was a huge assortment of traditional baked goods and Korean-inspired treats! ⁣ By the time I got there (around noon), most of the Korean pastries were already sold out, but out of what I did grab, the carrot cake was the standout; spongy, light, and perfect with my coffee. ⁣ Next time you’re in Duncan, pop in and check them out!”

“Been meaning to try this place for a while and glad I stoped by. What a great spot for some ice cream that hits the spot. We got the caramel crunch and apple caramel (seasonal flavor) in kids cones. They have lots of flavor choices to try including a nerds flavor which I will be back for. Great value and looking forward to coming back.”

“Today we tried the cinnamon twists, jalapeno and cheese criossants, and their breakfast sandwiches. absolutely amazing. The only downside to this visit, is that I won't be able to have more and try their other delicious looking bakery items until I return to Salt Spring. Their staff were also amazing and very good on handwashing between duties. I highly recommended this bakery!”

“The Thai Green Curry was a very tasty coconut cream based spicy curry served over rice. It was a lrfe bowl full. Do order the pillows soft Naan bread at $1.50 extra. The hamburgers were mile high with handmade patties (be aware zero deep fryer available, so no fries).”
