“Ordered take-out for 4 and it was another lovely meal (chef's kiss). The prawn biryani had a generous amount of large prawns and came with a refreshing (and equally generous) serving of raita. The alu gobi was lovely. The paneer in the mutter paneer was tender (nothing worse than rubbery paneer, trust me!). Both vegetable dishes came with naan. Although we ordered everything on the mild side, the heat was still a little intense for a couple of us. I have nothing but good things to say about this little neighbourhood gem. I hope they keep up the good work of serving good food.”

“This pool hall is a hidden gem. It’s small and cozy with really unique decor, you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. With only four pool tables, it never feels overwhelming and has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. They’re open late, which is a huge plus, and it’s a great spot to rent out for a private function, party, or birthday.

While waiting for a table, they have a nice selection of board games to keep you entertained. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the staff make you feel right at home. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a chill, well-designed spot to shoot some pool.”

“Every time we go to Pamir Diner we wonder why we don't come here all the time. We always get the triple dips to start and the flavours are wonderful. We have also had the Pamir platter and the kebab throne (this one only with friends and even then it is an enormous amount of food!). Their veggie dishes are delicious, but their kebabs are the star of the show, perfectly cooked and seasoned, the lamb shank is tender and falls off the bone. Strongly recommend! Muna's service was excellent, friendly and efficient!”

In my Nigiri lunch, I upgraded the salmon to sockeye, one dollar more, but worth it! The miso soup was perfect for us as we watch our sodium and they only use low sodium soya sauce! The combination of food, service & cost is why they get 5 stars! Any staff we saw were very friendly & said hello & goodbye. Customer service is top notch! Aside note, their green tea is one of the best we've enjoyed, too!”

Got home and my churros were missing (slightly heartbroken). We love Britannia, mistakes happen, we didn’t mention it. Next day, my phone rings and it’s the Manager. He caught the glitch himself, called me up, apologized and we just received a gift card in the mail. Small town customer service at its finest! Crab and red pepper spaghettini- on point! And seafood chowder, delicious as always!”

“Recently revisited Tilbury Restaurant after almost a decade and was pleasantly surprised to see the food still held up after so long. The best place to grab food, if you have time, in Tilbury.

I ordered a mushroom burger with fries, which was flavourful and excellent. The fries, that I loved years ago, were still just as good.

Staff, or rather I believe the owner, was the same as before too. Nice guy. Food might take a bit, but for a single person during non-peak times, it's perfectly fine.”

“Coffee was great. Lots of seating in and outside. They need to hire more help. There was only one girl working. And the gal that came in before me ordered about 10 coffees. The gal making the coffee did very good job just kept on working until it was done. People coming and going it was so busy. Whoever the manager is they really should think of hiring two people per shift. Because you did lose a couple of customers today they walked out after waiting too long. I was there around 11 AM.”

I'm a very picky pizza person and this place is okay 👍
Try spicing the meat really well or sauce or add some type of kick to the pizza for a more unique pizza in the future.
I'm gonna shop around for that specialty zaa place that's to die for.
Overall it's a small shop, looks mom and pop run, a single booth to sit at, polite friendly etc.
If you wanna support local business, go here and not a franchise place. I might be back to try a more specialty pizza here....”

Roast lamb dinners were delicious. Large portions of meat and sides. The potatoes were super lemon-y, which I love! We also ordered a dolmathes appetizer which was great.”

“I had the Pav Bhaji the other Day.. on the Plate .. They Serve Bhaji on the small section of the Plate and Paav on the bigger one.. They don't even put Lemon Slice to squeeze in Bhaji.. The Bhaji is just Ok.. Since they must've used the Pav Bhaji Masala .. If you Don't know how to serve Bombay Style Paav Bhaji.. Just see some YouTube Videos and Google Images on Plating style.. When I spoke with Manager or Owner (The Bearded gentleman in Regular Clothes and not in Restaurant Uniform)... He just diplomatically explained that they have changed the "PLATES" recently.. Really !! Kids can come with better excuse.. I'd Rather go to other places at least for Pav Bhaji.. Today I went for Sev Puri and yea that was decent .. but not Praiseworthy ..”
