“If you're looking for amazing Chinese-style fried chicken, this place is definitely worth a visit! The chicken is marinated incredibly well, so every bite is packed with flavor. It's juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned all the way through.

We also tried the chicken sandwitch and fries, and they were just as impressive. The chicken fillet inside the burger was extra crispy on the outside while staying moist and tender inside. The chicken strips had the same satisfying crunch, and the fries were freshly cooked, crispy, and well-seasoned.

The portion sizes are very generous, making it excellent value for the price. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they put real care into preparing the food instead of just relying on heavy seasoning or sauces.

If this restaurant ever opened a location in Richmond, I honestly think it would give many local fried chicken places some serious competition. It's one of the best fried chicken meals I've had in a long time, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended!“

“Salman was our cashier at the Lansdowne mall. He was very courteous, polite, friendly, and great at his job. This location knows how to run there restaurant.

Parking: Park by the toys r us at Lansdowne mall and you'll find the food court.

“Got 3 piece combo mixed spicy and regular. If you like spicy like me the spicy chicken was great! It was a bit to much for my wife but she really enjoyed the regular flavor. Both of us agree that the chicken meat has more flavor than the average fried chicken spot.“

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. “Got a half-and-half chicken for takeout for a picnic! It was ready just 10 minutes after ordering. We chose the original and soy garlic boneless options. The original was juicy and quite good, while the soy garlic also had good flavor, though the surface was a bit overly sticky—almost like candy. The half-and-half was just about enough for two people, and overall, I enjoyed the takeout experience here. Not sure if I’d dine in though—the space looked a bit cramped.“

“As a Korean, I seriously need to eat Yangnyeom chicken regularly—you know what I mean? :)
I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store.
That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location!

“Unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The lady at the cashier is never friendly to my husband and me. During our last visit, I noticed she was very nice to the customer in front of us, but when it was our turn, she was rude again. I'm not sure if this is only toward non-Asian customers, but it has happened to us repeatedly.

That said, the food is excellent. We always order the fried chicken from here, and it has been amazing every single time. The quality and taste are consistently great, which is the only reason we've kept coming back.

“This Mary browns is the best ever! The food is always fresh and delicious, but the customer service is above and beyond especially because of Mani. He has served us many times and has always has a smile on his face, is very polite and makes sure that our order is correct. We come back because of Mani and his amazing customer service, and when I say Mani goes above and beyond, I accidental left my purse in the restaurant before closing, I didn’t realize until I got home and I’ve never done that before so I was VERY panicked. I had everything in there. About an hour later a car pulled up to our house and it was Mani carrying my bag. I was absolutely shocked and beyond happy that kind hearted people like him exist. “I just ordered a 3 piece meal and received 2 drumsticks and a thigh (brutal). One piece was fine the other 2 were cold and had been sitting awhile. The fries were the worst I've had, they were under heat lamp I'm sure for at least a couple of hours they tasted like day old French fries. this was the Maple Ridge location which just opened, so maybe they were working out the kinks.“

We got the 3 piece with fries and drink. The chicken was crispy and juicy, just the way I remembered it growing up.

Sadly, the fries are no longer crinkle cut style, but the frozen coated ones like at Costco.
