“This place has a non-stop line of people ordering and you can tell why. Their speciality is the Taiwanese style fried chicken leg (boneless) or their Taiwanese salty fried chicken nuggets combo with rice and 3 sides they give you. Before I get into their deliciousness of the chicken, their sides are killer too. They give you a handful of veggies of the day, a thick piece of matinated tofu patty, and soya sauce marinated egg. Protein heaven already. Their chicken is so freshly deep fried, just the right amount of spices, hot, juicy and tender on the inside. Sprinkle some of their red powder on the side if you want more heat. Their portion is huge! They don't skimp out at all! I normally eat 3/4 and pack the rest home. All for $15! Bring cash as with all Richmond vendors!“

“As a Korean, I seriously need to eat Yangnyeom chicken regularly—you know what I mean? :)
I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store.
That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location!

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. “The chicken is unreal! I got the Cheese Snow and Soy. Half and half flavors. With the honey fries and it’s so delicious! Cooked well, not greasy and unique flavors. The spot seems small and chill however the seating could be a little better. If you want a great solo or intimate night date meal this is the spot! I was the only one here from 8-9pm. They have a magic 🪄 powder called Prinkle powder!“

“Got a half-and-half chicken for takeout for a picnic! It was ready just 10 minutes after ordering. We chose the original and soy garlic boneless options. The original was juicy and quite good, while the soy garlic also had good flavor, though the surface was a bit overly sticky—almost like candy. The half-and-half was just about enough for two people, and overall, I enjoyed the takeout experience here. Not sure if I’d dine in though—the space looked a bit cramped.“

“I was so surprised and very happy with how good everything was! the person at the front helped me so much with all my questions and explained which to get. I ended up with the beef mushroom and because I got the large, I got an egg. There was so much food I had to save it for the next day! Next time I come, I’ll be getting the curry beef as that looked just as good!“

“Ohh man it's been some time since I had Mary Brown's. Probably my fav chicken to buy, love the dark gravy and the biscuits. I'm not a fan of wedge fries but the gf loves them.

Service was great this day, as they were short bigger pieces and instead they offer 2 small pieces for every big piece. Was not an issue for us as we prefer the wings and drumsticks.

Inside was very clean. Lots of seating which is nice.“

“I just ordered a 3 piece meal and received 2 drumsticks and a thigh (brutal). One piece was fine the other 2 were cold and had been sitting awhile. The fries were the worst I've had, they were under heat lamp I'm sure for at least a couple of hours they tasted like day old French fries. this was the Maple Ridge location which just opened, so maybe they were working out the kinks.“
