It was very nice inside
Seated at a Window was a beautiful view of the river
Staff was great
waiter was amazing
Food was wonderful
Portions were good I had to change into sweatpants when I got home

“A genuinely cheerful lady took my order.....a rarity in the service industry these days ....and the cooking staff carefully asked what I wanted ...or did not want...in my Shawarma plate. The meat was tender and tasty, the hummus was creamy, the pickles tangy, the baklava of just the right sweetness and no loud blaring music or TV ....Pleasant experience all in all. I definitely recommend them and also hope that you have the luck of getting the same staff as I met this afternoon (Friday, 14 Aug). It felt a bit out-of-culture to ask their names otherwise I would have definitely given each of them credit by their names. Thank you for the pleasant experience.“

“Stopped in Saturday afternoon after a long stretch of flights and finally had a proper sit down meal, the zilzil tibs were smoky and rich in a way that put every North American version I've tried to shame. The owner came by our table twice to check in without being pushy about it, which felt genuine rather than rehearsed. Parking was easy right along the street, no circling the block for twenty minutes like half the spots in this neighborhood. Small dining room, warm lighting, injera arrived still warm and the whole place had that unhurried, family run energy you can't fake.“

I have been ordering from this place for years, I understand with the inflation and everything that they have the price increase, and I'm OK with that, but I'm not OK with the portion size. I still do love the food is always consistent with flavor, but definitely not happy with a portion. The meat had very little amount in there, And I was gonna charge two dollars for extra hot sauce, which I'm OK paying, but the container was so tiny“

“Came in to try this place out with my parents! Really great place and service, very welcoming and sweet staff. Portions on the Shawarma are not cheap and full of meat, tried out the lamb and chicken it was delicious. Would recommend this place out for sure if you’re ever around.“

The alcohol cocktails good here though.

“We had dinner here tonight , ordered calamari, beef souvlaki and the Greek baby back ribs. Everything waa delicious and the portions were huge, that we both ended up taking half of our dinners home for another meal.
We live in New Westminster and their Coquitlam location much closer but we rather drive bit further to this location. The service at the Surrey location has been wonderful both times we been here.
Tonight we were taken care of by Melissa. Big shout out to her. She made us feel welcome, was attentive and shared a funny story with us. We went at 4pm before the busy dinner crowd, so we didn't feel rushed and truly enjoyed our meal and conversations.

“I dined in today with my family, and I always love coming to this hidden gem. It's in the mall with London Drugs, and there is parkade as well free parking!!! The music is amazing, and the restaurant is clean. The food is amazing, and the servers are always amazing and welcoming. On Saturday nights, the 2 girls (Drew and Namin) are amazing and work together really well; service is fast. The food is consistent and always delicious. ROAST LAMB IS MY FAVOURITE PART FOR SURE!! i will for sure be coming in again and letting my friends know as well.“
