“Friend brought me there for a casual dinner. Delighted by the of cherry blossom decoration inside. A big shout out to the great customer service from two young ladies.
A good spot for a taste of traditional Chinese noodle that has been around for hundreds of years. I personally would prefer beef slice in the noodle instead of chunk though, but overall a good experience.“

“Ajea Noodle (in Chinese means “Love your home” based on the Chinese character)
3700 No.3 Road, Richmond
Located at Yoahan Centre Food Court
I decided to check out the claypot rice at Ajea. We came on a weekday at 12 noon, there was a line up! And… the line up continued while we were eating there. So they make this Szechuan noodles that seems to be popular. I came for the claypot rice, despite the long line up, it moved quite fast. I placed my order for chicken & Chinese sausage claypot rice, I was told it was a 25 minutes wait.
After 25 mins, my order was ready! Came with a small container of special soya sauce for the claypot rice with soup & pickled veggies. I did ask for an extra soya sauce thinking the sauce may not be enough. Trust me, one sauce was enough.
The claypot rice met my expectation! I needed to just use one sauce as it was quite salty.
I like the burnt rice bottom, the burnt was just perfect for me. The chicken was nicely seasoned, tender & the Chinese sausage was a perfect match with the chicken. A wonderful meal… I now have a place to go for my claypot rice.
Cash Only, parking is plentiful“

“Food is delicious. Ordered the house special fish noodle soup. Really enjoyed the noodle and the ingredients(veggies, tofu, fish). It’s a very hearty & healthy meal, one I would appreciate eating daily.
Dined in and ordered a take out after as it’s delicious. Will revisit again soon :)“

“Food court style Taiwanese takeout. Food was quite good, but had to wait 35minutes for my order. People ordering after me got their food, ate, and left before I received mine. Told it’s coming , I’m next , over and over. Line ups to order was also long. Been here before and usually ended up waiting and waiting.
Parking: Parking in the lot was very difficult, lots of parking available but even more cars waiting. Parkade is available but very tight turns.“

“I visited this restaurant with my Vietnamese friend, or I would have been utterly clueless about how to order. Bun refers to vermicelli noodles, which are distinct from Thai noodles. While the noodles were satisfactory, the soup was simply extraordinary. The fried chicken wings were the standout dish. The marinated beef was incredibly tender and lived up to its name, being exceptionally well-marinated.“

“We ordered the dan dan noodles (spicy), fried bean-paste noodles, and wontons in chili sauce. I had high expectations for the fried bean-paste noodles and wontons, but surprisingly, the dan dan noodles ended up being our favorite. I’m usually not a big fan of dan dan noodles, but these were very creamy, nutty, and moreish! They weren’t spicy for us, though.
The lady who took our order seemed a bit concerned that two of us were ordering three dishes, but I didn’t find the portion sizes overly large—three dishes were just right without making us feel too full.
Overall, I really enjoyed their food and would love to come back to try other dishes.
One thing to note: they only accept cash, not even debit, so come prepared!“

“Spend long time Analyzing restaurant on google map and found this place. It didn’t disappoint me. The Bread, Siumai and noodles are really good. The ingredients are fresh and athletic. Had a chat with the owner, she told me the vegetable in the bread was shipped from China and it was grown on someone backyard. I can tell they have a passion on making good food. I would love to visit again next time in Vancouver.“

“This was insane. I totally did not expect it to taste like that. The rice noodles were very thin with the right bounce, and they don’t stick to each other either. Great texture. The sauce was perfectly salty, perfectly flavored. Cheap too.“

“I tried their fried chicken noodle. Meat portion is 25% of the whole noodle plate.
But I like the taste and texture.
I tried their chicken fried rice and fried chicken with dry peppers.
Fried rice was average and had 20% chicken and 80% rice, I shared with another person as we are small rice eaters.
They have a seating capacity for 12. And tables were already taken on Sunday during lunch hours.
Good service and reasonable price.“

“Ever since I was a child, I’ve seen this restaurant and always wondered how it was. I would bus to school and stand at the bus stop right infront of the restaurant not knowing the gem that was behind me. Fast forward MANY years later and I finally tried it. And the regret I had of not coming sooner hit me. I feel like I wasted so much time trying other Chinese restaurants. Because this to me is my favourite Chinese restaurant and it’s not even close. I’ve been a regular ever since the day I tried it. I highly reccomend it to anyone. Typically at other restaurants I’m scared to try other items on the menu that I normally don’t get. But here at Wo’s I haven’t had a bad experience with any item on the menu. Everything literally tastes amazing. Wo’s is the restaurant I recommend to everyone when they want Chinese food!“

“Ramen Danbo is one of the best ramen spots in the city, and glad to see the expansion to Kerrisdale.
The staff are always super friendly, the food is consistently great, and the prices are hard to beat. There’s lots of parking nearby, and the rewards program actually adds up fast, which is a nice bonus.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for dinner, this place always delivers.
One of my favourite and most affordable go-to spots in the city.

“I had a very pleasant dining experience here. The handmade noodles were exceptional, full of flavor and texture. The restaurant had a bright yet cozy vibe, with a local, authentic feel. The staff were kind and tried their best to assist with a smile, even if their English was limited—which, in my experience, often means the food is the real deal, and it definitely was. Prices are also very reasonable. I'd say, come try their noodles—they’re really good!“

“I had a great meal here but, there were a couple of odd things the restaurant did. First of all, their pho was great! Broth was flavourful, good portion of meats, noodles and add ins. Lots of yum! The strange part was that they served hot tea in clear plastic cups. This made the tea taste plasticy which then put a bit of a damper on what would have been a delicious meal. Seems like an odd choice for such a basic thing. Service was good, and my food came out quickly. I'd recommend Pho Ten, but maybe give the tea a skip.“

“Lung Kee Congee & Noodles in Aberdeen Centre’s food court is a hidden gem for authentic comfort food. The prawn wonton noodles with oyster sauce are delicious, with tender wontons and perfectly cooked noodles. Their lean pork congee is excellent—silky, flavorful, and hearty, perfect for a warm, comforting meal. The dumpling noodles are equally great, packed with flavor and generous portions. If you’re looking for a satisfying, traditional meal in Richmond, Lung Kee delivers on both taste and quality.“

“The snake soup is highly recommended. Don’t worry; it doesn’t have a strange taste. Of course, it’s located in an old food court, so don’t expect the dining environment to be ideal. This is for those who haven’t tried snake soup and are adventurous!“

“I had an amazing experience at this Yin Ji Chang Fen restaurant! The rice beef roll was incredibly fresh, with top-quality vegetables, and the meat tasted so fresh. The packaging was secure, and the delivery was timely with a tight seal. The customer service was excellent – all the staff greeted me warmly, and the take-out pickup was smooth. “I went in with no expectations, but wow, this place blew me away! The broth and the Dandan noodles were incredibly flavorful—absolutely delicious. We also tried the beef roll, and it did not disappoint! I’m usually a bit picky with Asian food, but this spot made my taste buds so happy. The noodles tasted so authentic, and as a Korean, it even reminded me a lot of flavors from home. I think other Korean food lovers would really enjoy it too. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!“

“Authentic Taiwanese braised beef noodles. You can choose half beef brisket and half tendons noodles. You can also choose thin or thick noodles. We recommend thick noodles. We ordered sliced beef in Chinese green onion pancake, pan fried chive vol-au-vent, and Taiwanese chicken nuggets. They take cash only so need to be aware of and prepare for it before you go.“

“Great place to go for some delicious and cheap hotpot dishes! :) they’ve got some pretty generous portion sizes, as one pot is enough for the two of us. They don’t have AC, and the water and boba didn’t come with ice, but the taste more than made up for it. I highly recommend their Taiwanese beef noodle :)“

“Every time I come here, the attitude of the boss brother and aunt is so good, warm and polite. Every time I come to Richmond, I have to eat this box lunch. The portions are huge and they keep adding more vegetables. I didn’t bring enough cash and change, and I was missing 2 yuan. The boss just said to give it to me next time😅😅. I quickly went back to my husband to get the money to make up for it. Hope business is booming!“

“One of our go to Chinese noodle places! You have many choices of the type of noodles, as well as the different toppings.
Our typical choices are thick noodles with beef tendon, beef brisket, and chicken fillet. We also enjoy the deep fried squid and chicken wings.
You can order more toppings, and they range from $1 to $1.50 per choice. You can also get more noodles, but you must order the same type, and do so when you order. The choice also comes with a choice of sauce, but you have to select it. Drinks are additional.
It does fill up fast since it's quite popular. And the parking lot is usually full if you go for lunch on weekends. So it's best if you go when it opens at 11:30am.“

“This popular Hunan restaurant is a bit out of the way and leans toward northern Chinese flavors. The four of us ordered four dishes, with an average cost of around 40 RMB per person. One standout is the fried dough sticks (youtiao), which are presented in a unique way—hung up like slabs of pork. If you can’t handle spicy food, don’t try to push your limits here. The service is quite slow—very, very slow—which likely means the dishes are freshly made rather than pre-cooked. There’s no parking right at the entrance, so you’ll need to find a spot in the mall or park at Walmart nearby.“

“This location sells comprehensive frozen reheat and DIY kits for their items they usually sell at the restaurant. I tried the Beef Noodle kit and it was pretty good. It's like eating at the restaurant only you gotta do dishes and make the food yourself.“
“I have been coming here for over 20 years. I am second generation coming to this store. My Mom used to bring me when I was a child and we would load up on wontons to fill our freezer at home. Now I come all the way from Vancouver island with a cooler and ice just to get these wontons and other delicious noodles. Incredible products and Gloria tells you the best way to cook whatever you are buying. 10/10 would recommend!“

“Does not appear to look anything to do with food from the outside except the name said "kitchen" to suggest food. For a long time; with much curiosity I vemture in......They sell Taiwan style home comfort frozen food and made to order bento box; take-out only. While inside the store you still will not think they are selling food, very clean and tidy with no display on any of their products, a staff come up to help me and explane their concept and show me their frozen food products and bento box on a menu with photo. Finally, this place make sense this is a food joint.I ordered as per the helpful lady recommand ,all are very good and does not appear to have MSG; as I am MSG allergic. My pick are dishes with complicated cooking prep work that I will not consider making myself at home. Here are my picks and review:-Hot and sour soup, good value for quality and quility incomapre to the aboveaverage restaurant.Taiwan style meat sauce, good topping for rice , noodle or of your choice, meat are not minced like some resuturent, cutting with knife to small pieces give better texture plus they also compliment the sauce with a in store made pickle veg that highten the whole enjoyment eperience of the dish.Shrimp pancake, not my frav , is only personal.Pepper, pickle veg and pig stomach soup, this soup is not for everyone, is a ture comfort food for me, love it.Braise pork belly with bamboo shots, big time comfort food, long prep time dish. Cook topoint, All thumbs up.Went back again, did not disappoint. Bento box is also good value..“

“Hainanese chicken & rice is perfectly done. The beef brisket noodle is simple and tasty.
This place would get 5* if it weren't for the price. Both items were a couple bucks more expensive than it should be for what you get.
I may come back again but it's too expensive to justify coming to regularly.“

“- family run business - was highly recommended to this place and only ate there after the 2nd visit as lineup was too long - a food court place with just a few eateries in the Admiralty centre in Richmond - famed for wonton noodle , hainan chicken rice and hk style milk tea and iced lemon tea - there’s also crispy Chinese donut (油炸鬼&牛俐蘇) in the next stall - wonton noodle was crisp, springy and not soft and mushy and good size of wonton wrapped in shrimp and pork ) soup based was commendable - chicken is tender and the portion fairly sized - hainan chicken can be ordered in a set with rice , Chinese green - combination sets range from $11 with a drink - deep fried crisp fish skin is also a must try - was told that family sometime closes for trips - only stall in there with a lineup - very reasonably priced - we bought the deep fried fish skin home for the rest of the family to try and it was still tasty and crisp in the evening“
