“The Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles here aren’t as tasty as they used to be. The broth has become noticeably lighter and less flavorful, and the beef is on the tougher side, which makes the overall experience less satisfying compared to before. That being said, the owner is still very warm and welcoming, and their friendly service leaves a positive impression, even if the food itself has declined a bit.“

“Ajea Noodle (in Chinese means “Love your home” based on the Chinese character)
3700 No.3 Road, Richmond
Located at Yoahan Centre Food Court
I decided to check out the claypot rice at Ajea. We came on a weekday at 12 noon, there was a line up! And… the line up continued while we were eating there. So they make this Szechuan noodles that seems to be popular. I came for the claypot rice, despite the long line up, it moved quite fast. I placed my order for chicken & Chinese sausage claypot rice, I was told it was a 25 minutes wait.
After 25 mins, my order was ready! Came with a small container of special soya sauce for the claypot rice with soup & pickled veggies. I did ask for an extra soya sauce thinking the sauce may not be enough. Trust me, one sauce was enough.
The claypot rice met my expectation! I needed to just use one sauce as it was quite salty.
I like the burnt rice bottom, the burnt was just perfect for me. The chicken was nicely seasoned, tender & the Chinese sausage was a perfect match with the chicken. A wonderful meal… I now have a place to go for my claypot rice.
Cash Only, parking is plentiful“

“Food is delicious. Ordered the house special fish noodle soup. Really enjoyed the noodle and the ingredients(veggies, tofu, fish). It’s a very hearty & healthy meal, one I would appreciate eating daily.
Dined in and ordered a take out after as it’s delicious. Will revisit again soon :)“

“Huge portions. Good prices , sign on the board is what you pay incl. taxes.
It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.
This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.“

“Spend long time Analyzing restaurant on google map and found this place. It didn’t disappoint me. The Bread, Siumai and noodles are really good. The ingredients are fresh and athletic. Had a chat with the owner, she told me the vegetable in the bread was shipped from China and it was grown on someone backyard. I can tell they have a passion on making good food. I would love to visit again next time in Vancouver.“

“We ordered the dan dan noodles (spicy), fried bean-paste noodles, and wontons in chili sauce. I had high expectations for the fried bean-paste noodles and wontons, but surprisingly, the dan dan noodles ended up being our favorite. I’m usually not a big fan of dan dan noodles, but these were very creamy, nutty, and moreish! They weren’t spicy for us, though.
The lady who took our order seemed a bit concerned that two of us were ordering three dishes, but I didn’t find the portion sizes overly large—three dishes were just right without making us feel too full.
Overall, I really enjoyed their food and would love to come back to try other dishes.
One thing to note: they only accept cash, not even debit, so come prepared!“

“Stop by for some quality rice rolls!
We got the shrimp rice roll ($9) and truffle seafood rice roll ($14). The rice rolls are perfectly thin but bouncy, not easily something you can find elsewhere. This is a different style from the rice rolls at dim sum, where the filling is wrapped inside the rice roll. Definitely don’t skip the soy sauce and hot sauce on top as the sauces make the rice rolls 🤌“

“I tried their fried chicken noodle. Meat portion is 25% of the whole noodle plate.
But I like the taste and texture.
I tried their chicken fried rice and fried chicken with dry peppers.
Fried rice was average and had 20% chicken and 80% rice, I shared with another person as we are small rice eaters.
They have a seating capacity for 12. And tables were already taken on Sunday during lunch hours.
Good service and reasonable price.“

“Had Bun Rieu (Crab broth with noodles, shrimp, tomato, tofu, sliced ham and pork) and you can add herbs (bean sprouts, basil, perilla leaves, limes). Loved it so much that we came back 6 days later. Also had fried prawns with peppery salt which which was delicious.“

“First time ordering from the restaurant. Food was nice, hot & fresh, delivered by Door Dash. 53. Ginger Fried Beef. was not quite what I expected (visually), but equally delicious as comparable restaurants'. Nice & spicy/gingery. The120. Fried Yee Mein with Mushroom was beautifully done with long tender mildly flavoured noodle strands that glides on it's own. Flavored just right. A definite 👍 👍
Order was delivered on time and in a cute delivery bag too!“

“Wow our first time here and it was simply DELICIOUS! We especially loved the curry fish balls and the delicate yummy rice noodle rolls. We tried congee for the first time and it was like a hug in a bowl. Awesome friendly service from the servers and the cooks. We will be back for sure!! Thank you“

“My husband and I stopped here for lunch. I had a lunch special (deep fried ginger beef on rice) and my husband had noodle soup. The noodles were delicious and fresh, and the broth was flavourful. The ginger beef was also good, but the sauce was sweet, which I didn't expect and barely spicy hot, although it was rated as spicy. The tea is amazing, as was our server. The restaurant was full, and she managed it all, including the take out, in an unhurried, efficient, and friendly manner. Recommend this restaurant for the excellent noodles, fast service and reasonable prices.“

“Ramen Danbo is one of the best ramen spots in the city, and glad to see the expansion to Kerrisdale.
The staff are always super friendly, the food is consistently great, and the prices are hard to beat. There’s lots of parking nearby, and the rewards program actually adds up fast, which is a nice bonus.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for dinner, this place always delivers.
One of my favourite and most affordable go-to spots in the city.

“I had a great meal here but, there were a couple of odd things the restaurant did. First of all, their pho was great! Broth was flavourful, good portion of meats, noodles and add ins. Lots of yum! The strange part was that they served hot tea in clear plastic cups. This made the tea taste plasticy which then put a bit of a damper on what would have been a delicious meal. Seems like an odd choice for such a basic thing. Service was good, and my food came out quickly. I'd recommend Pho Ten, but maybe give the tea a skip.“

“Aberdeen centre food court is the best place when it comes to chinese cuisine with the reasonable price
One of the top pick place i usually go is “Lung Kee”
Their Beef tendon and Brisket on rice or dry noodles is so good!!
Their tendon and brisket are so soft and tender.. almost melt in your mouth
The seasoning is just right not too strong goes well with either rice or noodles
I have not try their other menu yet because im so addicted to their beef tendon and brisket dish
The price with one dish and a drink comes out under $20 which is pretty reasonable
The portions size is quite big for one person !!“

“Had late lunch here. The shop was part of a small food court somewhere in Richmond. The building was old but I think it added to the charm of the place.
We had fishball noodle soup and beef brisket pot rice. Paid $30 for 2 persons, no tip, cash. I love both dishes, meat was tender, soup tasted “clean”, served hot.
Service was expected of a typical Chinese shop, was not as friendly.
Will go back!“

“Around 4:30pm, without eating all day, I was exploring a new restaurant where offers a fresh small meal for a single person, and Han Ju Tofu Hot Pot caught my eyes and in the meantime the restaurant boss told me to give it a try. I was impressed by his enthusiasm and lovely smile also in the end very impressed by their such taste seafood pot. Very happy I have another favourite restaurant to visit more.“

“Authentic Taiwanese braised beef noodles. You can choose half beef brisket and half tendons noodles. You can also choose thin or thick noodles. We recommend thick noodles. We ordered sliced beef in Chinese green onion pancake, pan fried chive vol-au-vent, and Taiwanese chicken nuggets. They take cash only so need to be aware of and prepare for it before you go.“

“This Shanghai restaurant is really authentic. XLB were juicy, the duck very intense in flavors and the fish also yummy. Dandan mian were a bit too soft for our taste but amazing taste. Portions were huge so that we couldn’t finish everything but overall I would give this place a 4.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My most favorite fish were the Shanghai noodles 🤫“

“Small eatery known for their extensive noodle dishes. I had their Beef Chow Mein with Cumin ($16.50). Good portion size for the price, and I had some leftovers to take home after dinner. Was able to customize it to be non-spicy. The dish had a fragrant cumin flavour, and the beef slices were bouncy and tender. It also had a mix of veggies (beansprouts, cabbage, onions), but I wish there was a bit more protein overall. The picture in the menu has broccoli, but there wasn't any broccoli included.
Another diner in my group ordered their Clay Pot Noodle and remarked it's their go-to. Food came out promptly. I believe they only take cash/debit, so come prepared. No frills kind of eatery, but they have a good selection of items, so I'm definitely planning on returning to try some other dishes in the future!“

“This popular Hunan restaurant is a bit out of the way and leans toward northern Chinese flavors. The four of us ordered four dishes, with an average cost of around 40 RMB per person. One standout is the fried dough sticks (youtiao), which are presented in a unique way—hung up like slabs of pork. If you can’t handle spicy food, don’t try to push your limits here. The service is quite slow—very, very slow—which likely means the dishes are freshly made rather than pre-cooked. There’s no parking right at the entrance, so you’ll need to find a spot in the mall or park at Walmart nearby.“

“I ordered the Penang red curry with chicken medium hot, my husband ordered the Laksa noodle with chicken medium hot. He loved the taste of the laksa soup, not too salty, a little spicy, the rice noodle was nice and chewy. My red curry rice and chicken was really delicious as well, not too spicy. The price is affordable! Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.“

“One of our go to Chinese noodle places! You have many choices of the type of noodles, as well as the different toppings.
Our typical choices are thick noodles with beef tendon, beef brisket, and chicken fillet. We also enjoy the deep fried squid and chicken wings.
You can order more toppings, and they range from $1 to $1.50 per choice. You can also get more noodles, but you must order the same type, and do so when you order. The choice also comes with a choice of sauce, but you have to select it. Drinks are additional.
It does fill up fast since it's quite popular. And the parking lot is usually full if you go for lunch on weekends. So it's best if you go when it opens at 11:30am.“

“I have been coming here for over 20 years. I am second generation coming to this store. My Mom used to bring me when I was a child and we would load up on wontons to fill our freezer at home. Now I come all the way from Vancouver island with a cooler and ice just to get these wontons and other delicious noodles. Incredible products and Gloria tells you the best way to cook whatever you are buying. 10/10 would recommend!“
“Our family is a regular customer of this food court stall. Simple real flavours of hk cha chan ten fast food. The deep fried pork chop with vermicelli in soup is my favorite. The pork chop is very flavourful. Thought the pork chop is going to be crispy because it deep fried, but it wasn't. I wasn't bother by it though it was tastier that way.
I don't think you will be disappointed.“

“Hainanese chicken & rice is perfectly done. The beef brisket noodle is simple and tasty.
This place would get 5* if it weren't for the price. Both items were a couple bucks more expensive than it should be for what you get.
I may come back again but it's too expensive to justify coming to regularly.“

“2025.08.05 Came here on a mission to find out how good their wonton is. Ordered under noodle soup 1. Wonton & Shui Kau, Combo A Scallion Oil Pork Chop Rice with hot drink, Chinese Broccoli with Garlic Oil.
The pork chop was rather bland, the scallion oil makes it tasty but there was very little of that. The Chinese broccoli with garlic oil was rather mild tasting, having it with oyster sauce would have tasted better. It also was the most expensive dish at CAD 23.50. Ask how much before ordering.
The Wonton & Shui Kau was really good tasting at CAD 14.95, flavorful broth, wonton, Shui Kau, rich in flavor, texture, taste. The dining area were old tables and chairs with air conditioning. Payment is cash or Canadian debit card.“
“- family run business - was highly recommended to this place and only ate there after the 2nd visit as lineup was too long - a food court place with just a few eateries in the Admiralty centre in Richmond - famed for wonton noodle , hainan chicken rice and hk style milk tea and iced lemon tea - there’s also crispy Chinese donut (油炸鬼&牛俐蘇) in the next stall - wonton noodle was crisp, springy and not soft and mushy and good size of wonton wrapped in shrimp and pork ) soup based was commendable - chicken is tender and the portion fairly sized - hainan chicken can be ordered in a set with rice , Chinese green - combination sets range from $11 with a drink - deep fried crisp fish skin is also a must try - was told that family sometime closes for trips - only stall in there with a lineup - very reasonably priced - we bought the deep fried fish skin home for the rest of the family to try and it was still tasty and crisp in the evening“
