I came here for my birthday lunch this past Saturday and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly accommodating when I needed to make a last-minute change to my reservation, which made everything so easy.

The food was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I ordered the chicken tenders, a drink, and the chocolate cake, and everything was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Overall, it was a lovely experience, and the great service made my birthday celebration feel even more special. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We had lunch at the Cactus Club today April 12, 2022. The location is great because parking is not a problem. Food was amazing and our server, Raeya, was outstanding. She greeted us with a most beautiful smile and warm welcome. Service was consistently good throughout the meal and Raeya was readily available. “Stopped by for a weeknight dinner last week and the patio table they gave us had a great view over the lake right as the sun was going down, which I wasn't expecting on a Tuesday. The pan seared scallops with the corn risotto were excellent, and our server actually knew the wine list well enough to pair something by the glass without pushing the most expensive bottle on us. It was busy but never felt rushed, and the noise level stayed low enough that we could actually talk, which is rare for a place this popular. Parking near the cultural district was tight as usual, but valet solved that in about two minutes and made the whole evening feel easy.”

Our sever was an angel, which is a credit to kelowna Dennys, because a year ago the server was also perfect.

“There is nothing more important than having a local coffee shop. When I moved back to Kelowna, it was one of the first things I decided to look for. And make no mistake, there are no shortage of coffee places in this town. But there are certain things I prioritize in a coffee shop:
Amazing, small batch, locally roasted coffees from around the world. Proximity and ease of getting to. And staff that are as knowledgeable as they are fun.

Craft 42 knocks it out of the park on all of them. When it comes to coffee, they are always rotating in new coffees from different countries, regions and fermentation methods. For me personally, I can walk to it (and do most days), and the staff are incredibly engaging (and they taught me the history and difference between an Americano and a Long Black). They know me by name and my order.

Whether it’s Noah, Jordan, Erin, Lily, Alex, Ella or Ishwin, they make you feel welcome and bring joy to the experience.

I’d highly recommend Craft 42, but I kinda don’t want everyone to start coming!!”

Our service started a little slower than expected, but it was a packed Friday night, so we completely understood. Once Avery took care of us, the experience really came together. Avery was fantastic with recommendations, knew the menu well, and helped guide us toward some memorable dishes.

The food definitely left an impression. It is a little on the pricier side, but the flavours and overall experience help justify it.

Between the atmosphere, the food, and the people, Skinny Duke’s is one of those places that feels like more than just dinner. It has personality, character, and a sense of nostalgia that you don’t come across very often.

“Came for my sons 19th birthday. Our server, Jess, was absolutely incredible. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about the ridiculously huge drink menu and she made it a lot of fun. She wasnt cheesy about it being my sons first legally purchased drink, lol. We had a great time and the food was also amazing. A lot of McCracken rolls around the table. The only thing that I would suggest for the chef who prepared the sandwiches is to wear an apron because his clothes were splashed with sauce and it made a bad first impression but the food is super yummy”
