Dietary restrictions: This cactus club has okay gluten free options, definitely better and safer places if that's something you struggle with! My celiac friend always ends up with a steak, and they always take extra care for her meal! Pretty sure they don't have gluten free fryers but could be wrong

“I love McDonald’s for its unbeatable convenience and consistency. No matter where I am, I know I can count on McDonald’s for a quick, satisfying meal. Whether it’s grabbing a classic Big Mac, crispy fries, or their breakfast options like the Egg McMuffin, the food is always fresh and delicious.
What really stands out to me is how fast and easy it is. Whether I’m in a hurry and going through the drive-thru, or ordering ahead on the mobile app, the service is always efficient. The app is great too—I love the special deals and discounts that make an already affordable meal even cheaper.
McDonald’s also has a great variety. I like that I can grab a quick burger one day, but if I’m feeling like something lighter, there are healthier options like salads and wraps. And I have to admit, their soft-serve ice cream is a guilty pleasure I can never resist!
For me, McDonald’s is perfect when I’m on the go or just want something reliable. It’s a place I’ve grown up with, and even now, it’s still a go-to spot when I need something quick, tasty, and budget-friendly. Plus, the nostalgic feeling I get from a Happy Meal never gets old!”

While we waiting for our food we were given water from another wonderful lady and the other lovely lady at the front sent me for a nice homemade soup to take home. Everything smells and tastes so amazing and fresh. This is a Gem! I appreciate being so cared about especially with having some obvious medical conditions. I went there with high expectations, but I was a bit taken aback because it was my first time seeing a Korean restaurant without any side dishes or kimchi even when ordering the main menu, but it seemed like most of the customers here don't have any experience with Korean food, so they just ate it without knowing it haha.
I don't eat a lot, but the rice comes in a bowl big enough to hold a side dish, and no matter how much you serve it like gobong rice, it's still not enough haha.
I don't think you should compare it to Korean restaurants in Calgary -
If you miss Korean food a lot during your trip, I recommend going there.”

She ordered the gnocchi alfredo and I had the braised pork shoulder. I’m a cook myself, so I don’t say this lightly, but it was one of the most delicious things I ever had the pleasure to eat. “I can't speak to some of the criticisms but I just spent three weeks in Kelowna's North End recertifying my base paramedic level and found this coffee place on Richter. It hit all the right notes. A small,, simple, unpretentious set up in a working neighbourhood with great staff who knew how to make my favourite coffee (a double long espresso run through there times) at a great price. Next time I am town I will go there again and have already told a few folks. And for the record, I tried several trendy places downtown and they all paled in comparison.”

While we waiting for our food we were given water from another wonderful lady and the other lovely lady at the front sent me for a nice homemade soup to take home.
